What an absolute honour to be tattooed at Rambo’s. A historically rich beacon of the British tattoo scene and an absolute must see for any collector. Truly the most stunning place I’ve ever had the pleasure of being tattooed in, original features and stained glass, an incredible collection of prints (originals?) and super clean and hygienic. As an industry colleague, I must admit I had my doubts upon first appearances of the *exterior, knowing exactly what to look for in terms of best practise - but upon entry my concerns were immediately dissolved and hygiene is impeccable. *The original storefront is so beloved and dear to Manchester, it’d be a shame to modernise. Whilst it doesn’t scream ‘Modern standards of safe tattooing’, please don’t let the non flashy / clinical appearance of the exterior put you off, I assure you it serves only as a beautiful old school prelude to the Aladdin’s cave of awesome.* There was no compromise on a clean, open and hygienic space. It really is a well thought out meticulously designed marvel. I was tattooed today by Chris, who was a delight to chat to and a pleasure to be tattooed by. All of the staff were phenomenally fun, polite, and professional and I felt so welcome and at home. Also, I assure you, they DO use a fresh needle for every client! Haha. What a phenomenal treat to be tattooed in such a historically rich, comfortable, and clean studio. An absolute must. I will absolutely be back.

A fantastic classic tattoo parlour! It's full of little quirky features worthy of its title as the oldest tattoo parlour in Manchester. Stephen was awesome and I'm delighted with my tattoo. Don't let the basic appearance on the outside out you off; this place is an absolutely gem!

Had a couple of tattoos here by Rambo's son Jack. Exceptionally well done and Jack is a top bloke and consummate professional who takes your idea and works with you to maximise the potential of the tattoo.
