It was my first time at the studio this week, I was greeted by a very friendly person who chatted to me and made me feel comfortable. The studio was cool and clean, everyone was professional and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I came to get my second tattoo by Zu, they are an amazing and talented artist and made sure that I was comfortable and knew what was going on the whole time. Was offered a screen for privacy due to the placement of the tattoo on my upper thigh and that I was wearing a dress, which was very considerate, but due to the professional and welcoming attitude of everyone at the studio I didn’t feel it was necessary. Really happy with the experience!

I got my first tattoo here and it was such a great experience I came and got a second! Lovely people, nice and clean, not intimidating at all which is great. Got tattooed by SJ Young and absolutely loving my healed and my fresh piece, beautifully done and great conversation, couldn't ask for more!

Thank you so much to Dan for my lovely new tattoo!! I really recommend getting a tattoo from Dan, he was so professional, and really looked after me well! It was my first tattoo in a while and also my first time without having a friend with me for moral support (and to crush their hand hahaha) but he really put me at ease and we chatted a lot through the tattoo which made me feel really relaxed. Such a great tattoo experience!!! Everyone get booked in with Dan!!! Amazing work and an amazing artist~ if I could give a one million star review I would!

Tooth and Talon is a studio of talented tattooists and at the same time is the least pretentious studio I've been in. Everyone there is so friendly and welcoming. Whilst you're getting tattooed you feel part of the group. I'd recommend any of the tattooists for their ability but I'd also recommend getting tattooed there for the experience. They're like a family and they make you feel included in that.

Got one of SJ Young’s flash pieces about a year ago - it’s healed amazingly and I am super happy with it Super easy to arrange and he was very patient as I asked to change the orientation/size multiple times, I felt very comfortable and the studio was very clean. Would definitely come back here again, lots of great artists with plenty of good flash available + excellent location

As I'm sat on the train journey home, I can say that the travel was well worth it! From the start with the exchange of emails, to calling them because I was running late due to getting lost, to my tattoo sitting and departure home; Tooth and Talon were so great. Lauren listened to what I wanted and perfectly designed it to suit me. She was open to tweaks and took my feedback on board. All their work is beautiful and they're clearly passionate. All the staff were lovely and the vibe is laid back, which helped me feel comfortable. Especially with me being so awkwardly silent, as I tried my best to hide my pain. Really though, such a great experience and I will be back! (Pardon the pun). Highly recommend!

A great studio. Everyone was warm and welcoming with a nice atmosphere, which is exactly what you want when being tattooed. I know by reputation that all artists here are exceptional, with Harriet confirming this - the tattoos she created for me were brilliant. I think it would be useful to add that should anyone with any body confidence issues or any reason to feel intimidated or nervous about having certain parts of their body tattooed in an open plan studio should definitely speak with Harriet or any of the staff here. They can provide screens or quiet time appointments etc. I am now considering a stomach/sternum tattoo- something I had never considered before

Just finished having a tattoo from Lauren. I can't recommend this place and her enough. She took my idea and ran with it, made sure everything was perfect before starting and then was the gentlest tattooist I've ever had. Brilliant from start to finish. The one and only warning I have is that the stairs to the studio are very steep, just be careful! ☺️

Lauren gave me the perfect tattoo. All the guys are friendly, nice chilled atmosphere. If travelling on the train, go to Manchester Victoria and it's about 10-15 minutes walk away. If you're driving, park across the street where Aldi and M&S is.

Have been a few times to a few different artists and always a great experience. Kind and welcoming and lots of cool art on the walls to look at while you get a great tatt!
