I was tattooed by Rie who designed a fantastic tattoo with an embroidered effect. The tattoo was everything I hoped it would be, Rie was super friendly and I was immediately put at ease as this was my 1st tattoo. The shop was fab, all of the artists were super diligent in respect of hygiene and the place just had an awesome vibe. I think I have the tattoo bug now, I cannot stop thinking about future work I would like but I won't be going anywhere other than this studio. Utterly fantastic!!

This was my first Tattoo, and I came with an idea, Miss Rie took that Idea and produced something with so much detail and a design I could never of imagine. Nice place 5 minutes walk from town. The artists are very good, and there's a design for everyone or simply create your own. The highlight for me was the boss, she's beautiful 🤪

THE most positive experience I've ever had recieving a tattoo. The staff are lovely and the atmosphere is great, there are hands free hand washing facilities and a toilet which I appreciated. I was tattooed by Conal and he was professional, gentle and designed exactly what I wanted, he just GOT it. I embarrassingly fainted once everything was done and Conal kept me safe and didn't pressure me to leave, Miss Rie helped me too and placed a cool flannel on my head. Devastated by how lame I am, but amazed at how kind, professional and talented these people are. 100% recommend

I would not hesitate to recommend this studio. Quality: the detail and care that is put into their work is excellent, absolutely faultless. I am over the moon with how mine has come out, the planning, the actual execution, the aftercare, the end result- everything is flawless. Whilst the work was being done Rie was very careful, gentle and constantly aware of whether I needed to wriggle or have a break. Cleanliness: the entire place was clean enough to perform surgery in, the entire time I was there all members of staff were constantly cleaning and scrubbing everything, very safe covid measures and personal hygiene/ PPE etc and just generally the place was immaculate. It actually made me slightly embarrassed for how untidy my house is. Price: very reasonable, no issues there. I wont list mine as I had a day rate and I dont want to skew expectations, so I would say enquire on the prices with them directly. DJ skills: I am aware this is the most important part of the review, but pleased to confirm Ries music tastes are superb and she even sings occasionally which was actually quite soothing. If she could learn how to play an instrument using her feet whilst tattooing that would be the icing on the cake, but otherwise I realise I am asking for a lot. Overall this place is fantastic and a great experience for anyone looking for their first tattoo or to add to their collection. The staff are friendly, welcoming and very skilled at their job. If you get a tattoo from here and do not like anything about it, you clearly are an idiot.

Have had numerous sittings here and each piece I've left with has been amazing. Rie has a talent for taking the best elements of your ideas and turning them into something far better than you could have imagined. Over the moon with my tattoos and constantly getting compliments about the detail and design. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend her or any of the artists at her studio.

Had 2 tattoos by Rie when she first started in Newport. She does incredible work and really takes pride in what she does. I couldn't recommend her enough. And she's now been on E4 and BBC so it just goes to show her level of talent!! Lovely, friendly, humble and I don't think she realises how good she is. The only thing i regret is having tattoos done by others before i went to her because her work makes my others look awful!

My husband has had 2 tattoos done here and they went out of their way to accommodate us we are very happy with the work and would highly recommend them both my husband and I are already planning our next tattoos

Don't go to this tattoo studio unless you want the best artists in Newport on your skin. I have been to other studio's but no other have taken the time, care and attention to your artwork than here.
