Friendly driver; reasonable fare and if you use their app it's so easy to make bookings, track your taxi, see the fixed price for your journey and even see your drivers name and car info! I often use United taxis. Overall a great service!

Called United for a guest at an event and they were amazing. They required payment upfront by way of a credit card transaction which is done via WhatsApp and an encrypted message which is great. As someone with sole responsibility for the safety of our guests I was able to make this transaction on their behalf using their card and my phone - which also meant at the end of the night (pick up) the taxi driver was looking for me as I'd made the booking. As I have ID for work there was no way someone could "steal" the ride. Even though they aren't based in the same town they arrived when they said they would, charged what they said it would be and got the job done.

Just a HUGE thank you to United Taxis for their excellent service yesterday. Unfortunately I did a bit too much food shopping and realized the bag was too heavy for me to get on and off the bus with plus I use a stick. There was some disruption at Bournemouth station and no taxis in the rank. I ordered a taxi from United which arrived within 5 mins dispite operator saying they may be a delay. Very good pick up to the airport , but after my flight got cancelled after waiting 5 hour's and I needed to get back home until the next morning, I couldn't get internet because of the metal in the airport and they wanted me to pay before they would send someone out, I couldn't get out of the airport at this point, so very disappointed with them in that respect, I paid them in the car to the airport , why not on the way back, so I had to wait until I got out and then get a taxi, I went with another firm , and they lost out in the morning for the same reason.

I use this firm every so often, yet to experience a bad driver/driving. My experience is they always arrive within a matter minutes from booking, their fixed rate is reasonable, always a safe journey, that's why when I need a taxi I use their app. I'm always confident of their service.

Although taxi was on time I really do think the drivers should be assisting disabled people to get in and out of the cab. The first driver just sat there while an Ederly90 year old struggled to get into the cab!!!

Not bad, but not really professional. If you're not waiting for taxi they call you and If you don't pick up the phone (cause you're rushing) some drivers call you over and over, and over. I've also been charged 1,20 extra for making driver wait for 2 minutes. Despite pandemic there was no mask/dividing screen. I can still recommend it if you don't mind poor customer service.

I've use United often in the past & this is the first time it's been bad. Especially as I needed the help greatly. Yes, it was an unusual urgent request to pick up prescriptions/dressings, & bring to my Flat. Of which step one went well. But after that my anxiety went through the roof... The Driver didn't call me on his approach to my flat as requested. So it took awhile to passed my key code to him via your Operators. Who he told, there was no key?! And had started to go back to where he had picked up the items. Still not calling me to check why I hadn't come down to the front door after he had been ringing the bell. It was NOT TRUE about key, I later found. But his lie caused me to cancel my morning care due to this delay in getting my prescriptions/dressings & checking for the key. If I had able to walk without difficulty or pains, & my leg infections weren't open, I would not have had to sort this urgent request, reliant on a service that had given me no problems before... Despite that, I still thanked The Driver for going to get my urgent prescription/dressings & paid him above that of his time. Because, I may need this service in the future!! If I do, I would hope it is a lot better. As I dont want to have such service, again, that I can't rely on...

Automatic telephone system is confused. Having confirmed my location as the main entrance of Bournemouth Hospital and my destination as my home address, I was informed that I was outside your access zone. I was invited to communicate with the driver which I attempted to do. There was no reply and moments later my taxi arrived! When I got into the taxi, the driver was approached by a woman who claimed she had been waiting for half an hour. The driver gave her one of your business cards in case she had been ringing the wrong number. How much more do you want to know before you overhaul your answering service?

Needed a taxi urgently on a Saturday morning and apps driven taxis did not work as expected, and no taxis were around?! New in the city so I wasn’t sure about United and I had to make a phone call to arrange a taxi. They had no clue of my urgency yet the response time was quick and I was able to catch my train! Thanks for the quick response.. Only thing I was maybe not so happy was that I had to speak to a bot before getting through to a real human to arrange a pickup (perhaps new to this feature) Driver was professional, suited! car was kept clean, nice and tidy.

Used the taxi service, the taxi was nice & prompt but I felt a bit out of sorts with the comments the driver made, he constantly made derisory remarks about women. He also remarked that a black family with 3 children who walked across road in front of the taxi, should buy some condoms! I tried to counteract his comments with positive replies but was met with more negativity. I shall not be using this firm again.

Efficient. Friendly staff. You just call the number, provide your pick up location, your destination address, number of people travelling and the time. The waiting time it’s roughly 10 minutes, can be less. You can pay with cash or card, the fare it’s fair and not abusive and remains the same when you are doing a returning trip, so no suppresses when you book your cab to return back.

Booked via the app, all good but then we had no idea he’d arrived, the address picked us up on the app at the correct location but the driver parked on the opposite side of the road and parked up so we never saw him. There was no update on the app to actually say he’d arrived! No conversation at all from the driver, even when we thanked him at the end and said have a good day, nothing back from him.

Me and my wife paid less than £5 for our trip from the moon in the square to our hotel in Gervais rd. Definitely worth trying if you need a taxi in the Bournemouth area.

I recently had a taxi to and from Bournemouth airport. I prepaid over the phone with a polite and efficient telephonist. On the way there was early morning £19.90 and the return was daytime/ afternoon £15.70, both of which included the £3 car park charges to enter the airport car park. I found these prices reasonable! The service was brilliant! Both cars were on time, both drivers were polite and carried our suitcases. Cars were clean and comfortable. Thank you United Taxis! I would recommend this service and will definitely be using them again!

I love the new and CHEAPER fixed price. Using them regularly for over 3 years now and never had any issues. Impressed with local knowledge of drivers to find workarounds to traffic knots. During peak traffic times the wait for a cab might be longer, but that's not their fault in this town.

Best Taxi Ever, I just got a Taxi nearly 200 miles away and had interesting conversation all the way..time went so Fast. I left my jacket in the cab and he brought it back to my house even though he was 10 miles away and at no extra cost. My experience of United taxi service has always been excellent the staff are very helpful and friendly on the phone and can always give me accurate updates when my taxi will arrive,the pay in the car with card is a bonus,the drivers always help with my baby in his car seat and shopping im very pleased with the service .i have not had any issues and will continue to use United especially over the Christmas period...Well done United
