Great service from Peterborough Cars today - I phoned up, out of the blue, to request that they send a car to check a business address for me in Peterborough to save myself a 4hour round-trip drive from Norwich and I offered to pay, of course. They arranged for a taxi to call by, then rang me and gave me the info I needed and to my surprise refused to take payment. A very nice and refreshing gesture in today's mercenary world and, with this approach to their customers (and to a stranger like myself) I can only recommend them highly and wish them well with their business

The best taxi company in Peterborough in my opinion. I left my tablet in a Peterborough Cars taxi one night a couple of years ago. I didn't have a clue I'd even lost it when I woke up. They called me first thing in the morning to let me know. I've had bad experiences with other local taxi companies but never with Peterborough Cars. Very trustworthy and reliable drivers and company as a whole.

I Use this company and there app regularly and accidentally left my wallet in the taxi and was unaware and had thought I'd left it somewhere else however recieved a call and voicemail to say they had my wallet and was returned to my address completely free of charge by zaffar. I use this taxi company a lot but on Fridays you might as well not bother, most of their drivers are at Friday prayer and when you call they say they will be with you in a minute and you wait 20 mins! Updated: as got a response from company, you don't advertise at all that it might take longer the app just says we got you booked in the once we call you, you say that you have a driver on the way

We mostly use pboro cars as I find the app really easy to use. Used them on Saturday & having been dropped off I immediately realised I’d left a bag of Christmas presents in the back of the car. I rang the office who rang me back in 2 mins after speaking to the driver. The driver returned to the drop off point within 5 mins. Was so grateful excellent service.

I’ve been using Peterborough Cars for over 10 years now and they have always been nothing but professional, timely, reliable and helpful. Their app is also great with the ability to have receipts for journeys. My daughter recently left her prescription glasses in the cab on her way home (steam and wearing a mask meant that she had them off) and even during this time, they went out of their way to locate them and drop them back to me last night, just in time for school today for her. Wouldn’t accept payment even though I knew it was our fault - their service is second to none and the only cab company I will use in Peterborough. Transferring a parent, who has dementia & in a wheelchair, is always an incredibly worrying process. The care and attention to detail taken by Peterborough Cars was astounding. They provided a car that had a screen in, so my Dad did not have to wear a mask. The ramp gave Dad a smooth easy access. Great visibility all around which enabled my Dad to see and comprehend where he was going.Our driver, George, was so gentle in the way he spoke to Dad, secured the wheelchair & drove were all done with such care. Satisfaction vs Delight: I am using them for the past 6 years but more frequently in past few months as I am traveling to London often. I was satisfied with their service as i never had to wait too long. But, what happened last Friday surprised me. I used their cab to go from station to home at 7 pm. until 9, I didn't realise i dropped my mobile in the cab and the sincere driver handed over my phone to their office. When I rang my phone, it was attended from the office and they asked me to come and collect, also warned me that i can only collect if i can unlock the phone. When I went to collect the phone, I was very pleased and thanked them all. I tried to gift the driver a tenner for which they refused and said he only did his job. When you ask for a service and get it it, you are satisfied. When you get something very unexpected, you are delighted. I am very delighted by the service. Hello, I wanted to pass on my experience yesterday with your driver 55 Ryan. I walk with a stick & I almost got to the car but I fell to the ground. Ryan was quick to check if I was ok & he managed to get me standing up. Normally I would need 2 men to help, but he managed on his own & was careful putting me into the car. I feel he went beyond his duty looking after me. I was so relieved. So if you could pass this on to management please. Thank you for such a good service you provide. This company is miles better than all the other taxi companies in Peterborough. You can book your journey easily, days ahead, through the app. The cars are always clean, inside and out, and the drivers friendly and courteous. And they are always on time, or slightly early, which is great. Lastly, I don't have to worry about not having enough cash, or tips, because I can opt to pay by card. You won't regret using these guys :)

I booked Peterborough Cars for most of our taxis for our Staff Christmas party on the 13th December 2019. I found the staff to be extremely friendly and very helpful. They kindly did all the logistics of whom to pick up in the same taxis and at what time. All taxis arrived on time for both pick and up and drop off. The drivers were courteous and very professional. I booked a taxi the other day in the evening, and the gentleman I spoke to was very helpful, and helped me figure out what car we needed for an airport journey. I was stressing out about what if the suitcases would not fit in the car but he had assured me that it will and send me a bigger taxi. We had booked a Mercedes executive car to Heathrow airport in May . The driver arrived on time and waited patiently whilst we finished out packing as there are always last minutes items you forget to pack. The driver was polite and helped with the luggage into the vehicle. The car was very clean and tidy and the driver was talkative and pleasant which made us both at ease during the journey. On return the driver was easy to contact and arrived at the pick up point promptly. He could see that we were both tired from a long night flight and kept talk to a minimal so we could get some needed sleep. They guys could not have been more helpful and accomodating in locating them. Last night I left my bag in a taxi when I was about to go out for the night! I firstly called the taxi company I was constantly fobbed off with excuses and no one was willing to help! All I wanted was for them to call the driver . I kept calling , about 5 times when I finally spoke to someone called Suzie , she called the driver and he confirmed he had my bag but was out of town and would drop today. I was over the moon. Again I chased this up today after about 10 calls I finially got through to someone called Danny who took ownership called the driver and called me straight back to tell me the driver will drop off today at 6:30. At 5:30 Danny called me and the driver returned my bag as promised with everything still inside . I can’t thank Peterborough Cars enough . Remember to treat others how you want to be treated and imagine if they were your belongings . A shame not everyone at Peterborough cars was like Suzie and Danny they have saved me continuing to use Peterborough Cars , and I do use them a lot lol! Very pleased

4/5 times the driver is a don, on time, easy going and always gets me where I need to be. The rest of the time it's some impatient grumpy git who gets upset for having to wait any longer then 5 minutes... Understanding your profits are time related but I do not complain when my taxis have been late even leading to myself being late to work becasue I understand it does happen sometimes. I just think they need reminding their customers come back if they want to not becasue they need to...

I don't usually write reviews but this deserves a special mention. I booked an airport transfer from Heathrow Airport but I missed my flight. Also, I had paid for the airport transfer prior to missing my flight. When I contacted the Peterborough Cars booking office, they assured me that they would re-arrange the airport transfer. When the airport transfer was rearranged, the replacement flight had a significant delay of 3 hours. I was worried that this would cause further complications but my driver (driver 102) actually waited for those 3 hours until I got out. Thank you to Peterborough Cars and driver 102 for helping me out of a difficult situation and I will be using you for every airport transfer I have from now on!!
