Our driver, Malcolm, picked us up at the beginning of the Storr trail; he was on time and was very accommodating when we coordinated the pick up over the phone. He was such pleasant company and we had a nice chat on our way back to Portree. Super reliable service with great drivers. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

We preordered the taxi in the morning for 7pm, it came reliably on time. Driver Don was amazingly nice, we had a great chat about our visit and he told us some legends and gave advice on tours. We can definitely recommend

This taxi service was very accommodating and we wouldn’t have been able to see our favorite sites without it. Traveling by bus can be hard when trying to reach certain hike or trails, but Gus’s taxis helped us to get exactly where we wanted to go. The experience was great, the drivers make wonderful company, and are insightful in regards to the isle.

Michael at Gus's Taxis was a real savior for us! My daughters and I got a flat tire in a very remote location of Skye with no cell service. I had no voice or text service but (after several hours of being stranded) my phone pinged my wife in the United States with our location, and she was able to call Michael, give him our approximate location, and send him to get us. He managed to find us, was so friendly and helpful, had great local knowledge and suggestions, and even took us to a grocery store and waited while we shopped on the way to our accomodations. Would give 6 stars if I could.

Three friends and I spent the entire weekend at Portree and travelled through the Isle of Skye using this taxi service. We were very pleased with the service altogether, not just because of punctuality, but because of their willingness to help my friends and me during our entire trip. They made sure we knew what we were passing during each taxi drive, made sure we were prepared and left ample time all of the sights we wanted to see. Their taxi service is one I would recommend to everyone who would like to go to the Isle of Skye, and is looking for a transportation service through which they could see multiple sights per day.

We used Gus’s taxi for our trip to Skye. Willy was a fantastic ambassador for the island of Skye and took us to a few gems that we hadn’t planned on visiting. With the tiny little single lane roads that make up the island, it was reassuring to have a professional handle the driving.

Had to schedule a pickup from Portree to Kyle of Lochalsh very early in the morning to catch a train. The driver picked us up, and was very friendly and helpful, regardless of the early morning. Got us there with time to spare and charged me less than what I predicted it would be. If you're on Skye and need to get somewhere/when the bus can't take you just call these guys and save yourself the trouble.

Had very pleasent experience with Gus Taxi and my driver Mr Michael. I Booked taxi from kyle of lochalsh to portree and next day Isle of skye 3.5 hour tour. It cost me 60£ and 110£ respectively. Which i found very reasonable. At the Kyle of Lochalsh, Mr Michael was waiting for me at the platform. And he was knowledge about my hotel floor plan as well. He parked at the back door of the hotel and from there it was easy take luggage rather than front entrance. For someone like me who doesnt want in depth analysis of the attractions and to get all the must see sights in and around Isle of skye, this is highly recommended. Finally a big thanks to Mr Micheal for the pleasent experience.

These guys deserve more than a 5 star rating. I had arranged for them to pick me up from Portree and take me to the ferry at armadale at around 12:15. The morning of the ride, the weather wasn’t too hot, but I didn’t think much of it. I was relying on WiFi to communicate with the outside world, so I didn’t get the memo that the weather had caused mass cancellation of of ferries. When I didn’t answer the emails from the operators about me having to leave early they actually CAME to my hostel to find me to tell me the change in plans. They rushed me off to the ferry and the entire time the driver was very reassuring that if we didn’t make the ferry he had looked up bus schedules as a backup plan to get me to fort William. By a miracle, they managed to get me on the last scheduled ferry of the day. Seriously, to this day, I’m blown away by the service they provide to their customers. Truly above and beyond.
