Absolutely agree with all the great reviews here and elsewhere. This is the best garage I've dealt with for years. A huge thanks to them for sorting out my aging campervan. Really lovely people, great service, and value. It's sad that you don't often hear this these days, but I really trust these guys. Top notch. And, as said, Sharon is a star. Thanks very much to indeed to everyone. Highly recommended.

Best place for any vehicle related work. Cheap and excellent workmanship. Speak to Martin or his wife on the front desk. Most honest garage i have ever used. Once quoted me £800.00 wielding work, came back to collect the van, only charged £350.00 as rest was not needed. I dont use anywhere else.

Excellent, friendly service. Recommended by friend as I had a screw towards the edge of the tread. All better known tyre dealers stated "new Tyre". Tyre express said it was repairable but after removing wheel and screw then testing told me it had not penetrated and therefore no charge as not punctured. Good to deal with honest people. What is more asking about price for a new Tyre they were within 50p of the better known dealers. Will be recommending them.

I've had my car MOT here for the past few years. Always prompt and polite service. They give honest estimates on how long something will be ok before it needs to be replaced. Wouldn't take my car anywhere else. I recommend my friends to use them. All have been impressed and return visitors to Tyre Express

After getting consistently ripped off by many garages, my friend recommended Tyre Express to me. I could not be happier with the service I have received! I have since taken my car into them for MOTs and other problems I've had with my vehicle. Each time I've had a professional, reliable and quick service. Could not sing their praises enough. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. Needless to say I have now recommended Tyre Express to all my friends and family. I want to say a massive thank you for all your help. tyre express is the most honest and reliable garage i have ever used. I have been using them for 6 years or so with prestige cars that have seen a lot of the team, to my basic Mazda. Very helpful and polite even during their most busiest of times. Always got the customers safety and wallet in mind, so you really cant ask for nore than that. Brilliant team and all are a credit to garages everywhere as lost faith in many. Always recommend them to people around their area as the go to place and a lot of my work collegues use them due to the above points. first review i have ever written but first time i really felt a business deserved it. Don't hestitate with Tyre Express because you certainly wont regret it as i and many others haven't.

My van suddenly wouldn't start properly in the mornings. My regular mechanic was not available. Ive been getting my tyres and exhausts from Tyre Express for years so decided to give them a try. The problem was fixed promptly and I was kept up to date by the lady on the reception. The price was much less than expected. I would definitely use Tyre Express again. Thank you all.

A friend recommended this garage to get a 2nd opinion after I'd been to a 'Kwik' garage to get a quote for rear brakes. The 'Kwik' garage quoted £260 (I drive a Passat, not a Merc). Tyre Express was less than half of that. Nice people to deal with who didn't give me the ''you're female & have no idea what you're talking about'' attitude. I will be returning and there's a nice cafe on the corner to have a coffee while you wait.

Best Garage in Brighton Hove and Portslade. I have been here twice once for the fitting of brake pads and discs and the other for a major service. I have been ripped off sooo many times by other mechanics. I used another mechanic closer to home the other day because my car was dangerous to drive and I so regret it! As I have been told that my car needs a new power steering pump when the fault codes said it was just the sensor! Wish I could have driven it to you guys and the bill would have been much cheaper! Most mechanics are in it to make money, but I know I can always trust Tyre express. I have a list of garages to avoid that I have taken my car to in my very short life and I can say Tyre express is the first garage I will always go back to

My car went in to have a quote for a new clutch, clutch pedal and slave replaced after Peugeot main dealer told me thats what was needed. Took it to tyres express (who I use regularly for tyres and brakes etc) for a 2nd opinion and to get the repair done cheaper than main dealer quote. Turns out the car only needed a clutch pedal for £120, rather than the lot for £720...or circa £2000 at Peugeot!! Saved me £600... Cant fault this garages honesty, reliability and prices. Martin & Kim are a credit to the motor trade.

Trustworthy company. I took my van to local Ford dealership to get the brake pads changed & Ford told me the disks needed replacing too ( my van is only two years old! ). I brought it to Tyre Express for a second opinion & they confirmed my suspicions that it only needed brake pads replacing. Booked in the following day - Good service.

I have been to Tyre express for puncture repair and/or replacement tyres a few times over the years and can not fault the tyre service they provide. - Honest about prices and spec of tyres available (Explained budget to premium brands and seasonal tyres) - Clear with communication about waiting times (Never left wondering whats happening) - Hard working and do the job well ( Displayed tenacity and honesty on several times to repair or if not possible to replace the damaged tyre/s with like for like) - Advertise that they pick up cars if need be and will let you park on premises for the day.

Ok.. Recently had my car in for a service at ATS and was told my brakes needed doing and quoted silly money so took it to Halfords as MOT is due and need brakes fixed. Halfords filled me with endless excuses about staff leaving and wanted £600 for work to be completed. Having resigned to this, i almost committed until a friend recommended this place in portslade. Well as a first time customer i wish so badly Google would allow 10 stars as I'm amazed at the honesty within this garage.. Expecting a bill of £200+ the garage could of easily stated new brakes needed and it be £200 and i would be non the wiser, however i must stress this in big letters.. THEY DIDNT.. It was identified that the noise from front brakes and rear was just dust.. Needed a clean out and was charged 1/2 hour labour which is brilliant value for £30 as i almost got robbed of £570 by competitors and a final gamble paid off.. Will recommend to many people and will be also returning when brakes need fixing as i am a believer in.. Honesty is best Policy... And this garage has truly shown it.. Many sincere thanks..

Fairly good service overall, but......... It could be improved if they did timed apts. Phoned up in the morning to check availability on required tyres & asked about booking in. I was told just to turn up, the wait was 1hour 40minutes :(

Very short temper. The receptionist lady seems like she doesn't even want to answer any questions nor she wants to also be at work. Service was supposed to be reparing puchered tyre, but after half hour inspecting, they couldn't even find the damage which is a unfortunate reason. And I get told that they can't do magic.
