Had an appointment for tyre check this morning, November 29, 2022, I thought my appointment was 11:30, I was advised by Craig that it was 10:30,, they still managed to fit my car in for tyre check.. (needed two new tyres). I asked if they had coffee machine while I waited on tyre change), stopped doing coffee during the pandemic. Ten minutes later, Craig brought me a costa coffee from Tesco. Which was greatly appreciated. The service I received was excellent. Thank you 😊

I booked some time at Kwik fit Milngavie to check a potential problem with rear suspension. In spite of being busy they checked the situation and provided advice. The was no charge and the mechanics were friendly. 05/11/22 I recently bought tyres on the kwik fit at Milngavie Glasgow and was disappointed by the service, time taken to fit and attention to detail; especially after booking ahead of time and the cost of the transaction.

I popped in to Kwik Fit Milngavie this morning on the off-chance to see if they could fit me in today as my car had a few issues I was concerned about. While they were clearly very busy at peak drop off time, they were very understanding & accommodating, and it was no hassle for them to schedule me in same day. I left the car with them and by mid afternoon they had fixed my car’s issues, explaining the faults to me, and they even sorted a few things extra for me, including tyre pressure etc. Their knowledge and efficiency was very reassuring. Although the staff were clearly very busy, they very kindly and patiently took a few minutes extra of their time to answer all the questions of my very inquisitive kids - so it was a happy experience all round! Thank you so much again - your help today was very much appreciated. After recently moving to the area it’s wonderful to know we have such an efficient and welcoming garage on our doorstep and we will certainly be back in a couple of months’ time for our MOT.

Went in yesterday to get an mot, had to change a tyre only to be told the previous company had destroyrd a couple of bolts forcing them in. Thankfully David the manager managed to fix them. Just had a Mot and service done and couldn't be happier with the service. Was having to wait over a month at main dealer garages and got fitted in at kwik by David on my afternoon off. The guys were fully booked but fitted me in anyway when they saw that I had my children with me and, after asking what the issue was, didn't want me to leave in a potentially unsafe car. They diagnosed the issue with my car quickly and saved our holiday (and possibly our lives) and then even tried not to charge me as it was for the kids! Overall the experience we had at Milngavie was favourable and the mechanic who worked on our car was very approachable and friendly. The job was a little tricky but he persevered and worked it out. My only issue was the timescale to complete the work as they knew I was waiting for the car and having dropped it off at 9.00am it was not ready until after 3pm. Fortunately for me I bumped into my Father in Law and that passed the time. If I had dropped the car off on the day and not booked it in I could understand the delay but it was a little disappointing. The time was acknowledged when I came to pay and I was given a small discount as an apology. I would recommend Kwik-Fit Milngavie the same way as it had been recommended to myself.

As always, attentive staff. My exhaust seemed to have sprung a leak, and the chap put it on the ramp...15 minutes later he gave me my keys and told me it was a rusty clamp/bracket which he had replaced...and no charge. Excellent service indeed! About a year ago i visited the same branch with a fractured brake line. They fixed that and found a leak in a fuel line, fixed that and cleaned the fuel from the undertray, all at a very reasonable cost. Previously a broken coil-spring was replaced very quickly too. This is a great place!

The mechanic told me a time he could check what needed to be done and called me back with a realistic quote within the hour. I picked up my car soon after the work was done that day. No-fuss. I would recommend Kwik Fit to anyone because of the professional friendly people who bend over backwards to ensure you drive away knowing they have done a great job for a great price.

They were extremely courteous and efficient, especially since the problem with my car turned out to be a little more tricky than normal. The patience demonstrated was admirable. Not the best. Took my car in with one severe puncture (screw) and two slow. Fixed the big one no problem for £25. Other two not repaired and advised to get wheels powder coated to rectify. This did make some sense as wheels were not in great condition. Got them coated and.... no better at all. Phoned to go back and arrived on time. Only to be told that overfill team had overbooked them and they couldn’t see me. Took to a nearby garage who sorted both. I’ll never be 100% if the coating was needed but not great service either way.

I have limited experience with car repairs (lucky me, I suppose), but I'm quite happy with Kwik Fit. I had a really nasty failure of my parking brake that caused metal grinding sounds and occasional jamming of the rear wheels. I was offered a free brake inspection that included diagnosing the problem, giving me guidance on the repairs needed, and removing some broken pieces that were causing the wheels to jam. I'll need to take care of the repairs now, but at least the car should be safe to drive.

Davie was very helpful, Mum was in hospital kept forgetting to get oil topped up phoned in Davie told me come down straight way. Topped my oil up was really impressed how hard they all worked. I visited this garage yesterday with an oil leak that I needed to get fixed ASAP as I need my car for work, being an NHS key worker. The service I got from start to finish was excellent and the staff were all friendly and very helpful. They kindly gave me a discount for working for the NHS. I always find the guys at this branch of Kwik Fit friendly, helpful and honest. I've never been charged for something they couldn't fix and they've been honest enough to tell me when my car was better off going to Mercedes. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Showed up to try and get my wheel changed. It was supposed to open at 8:30 and we were waiting for 30 minutes before we went to the door and the employees told us that whoever had the key hadn't showed up for work. They then recommended that we go to the nearest other Kwik fit garage (half an hour away!) Instead of one round the corner that charged me half the price. Obviously I can't attest to their quality of service but their customer service and reliability is not ideal.

I brought my Car in as I was told it needed 2 rear tyres. Turns out I was told the wrong tyre size by Arnold Clark who also failed to spot the damage to the front tyres. Davie who helped me went above and beyond to sort me out with 4 new tyres at a fantastic price and he fitted them right away with no hassle. Amazing. Called up at 4.15pm on a Saturday (they shut at 5pm), landrover discovery needed a new battery. The man said come down straight away and we will change it over. I brought my old suberu in and the exhaust was falling off and I needed a new catalytic converter. Suberu parts are really expensive and hard to source. The man (sorry I’ve forgotten his name) was fantastic! He spent time sourcing a cheaper part for me and halved the initial quote that way, he even knocked some more off when I came to pick it up. My Christmas was going to be ruined if I’d had to pay the full amount. Very grateful!

Despite asking to be kept in touch with problems by e-mail and despite the staff assuring me they had used e-mail before phoning my home (fortunately my wife was in) I'm still waiting for the e-mails to arrive. Ultimate no harm done as my wife e-mailed me with a description of the repairs necessary to pass an MOT that day. As I was in a meeting silent correspondence was a must - give me e-mail every time. Otherwise the work was done very promptly and I could drive away with another year without hassle from DVLA or whoever it is that oversees road worthiness. Well done for getting me back on the road in the course of one afternoon.

Just had a really positive experience at my local KwikFit. I am an intensive care NHS worker and my car was due an MOT on a prepaid plan at another garage. Unfortunately at the last minute (the morning of the test) they announced their services department had closed due to the Covid pandemic. I went down to Kwikfit and they immediately said that they could do the MOT today despite the fact they were fully booked to make sure that I can continue to get to the hospital. Great work! Reliable service if you know what to ignore (basically anything they are trained to say, which is all about increasing your spending) Recent visits worried me slightly re Covid procedure. Some staff masked, some not. A customer in the waiting area with no mask. A staff member without a mask handing me my keys.

Hi , I have read the somewhat negative reviews , regarding the operation at Kwik Fit Milngavie , and I have to say my experience today was exceptional . My brake pads and discs stick together in the mornings , and the staff at Milngavie “ cleaned and treated the pads” and did not charge me for the service ! Now I know from past experience that the dealership from where I purchased the car would have encouraged me to replace the brake pads , as they have done previously . So its a “five from me “, well done to the staff !

My elderly husband got into a fankle with tyre pressures on our fairly new car and thought we had a puncture as the red warning light came on. He was treated with friendly courtesy by a mechanic on duty who sorted out his tyre pressures, which were all over the place and reassured him that we did not in fact have a puncture. He was not charged for this service and was delighted with it. We know where we will be shopping for a new tyre when needed, that's for sure. Thankyou Milngavie Kwik fit.

I arrived at Milngavie kwik fit and as was early for appointment they would start it once got a space in garage, I explained if could replace two tyres and swap one with rear as needed tracking sorted as well, was done no problem, then got tracking sorted with print out of what and where the problems were and then sorted that out very quickly, but as computers were down had to go to bank to pay for the work, by time I got back car was all sorted, very friendly fitters and would go back again if got any more problems with kwik fit
