Went in for 3 tyres at the booked time of 12pm Saturday but was told they were an hour behind so wouldn’t be completed until 2pm earliest. Decided to sit it out as needed them doing however a great guy, Jack, overheard and said he could possibly get it done around his other jobs, chatted with him briefly before he began the work and he was very friendly and helpful. Also spoke to Jason on the front desk and asked him about my brake discs and pads, he took a look and confirmed they seemed fine (as I thought) after another garage said they needed replacing. Jack completed my tyre replacements within 45 minutes and I was on my way, perfect! I want to thank Jack and Jason for their professionalism and quick, efficient service. I will certainly be coming back in the future!

Hands down one of the most genuine and upfront garages in Ipswich. I have always taken my car here for any work and they are always honest and up front and the pricing is more than fair. All the guys that work here are friendly and approachable and I couldn't recommend the garage enough. Defiantly feel like I can trust these guys which is the most important thing you can ask for.

These guys managed to fit me in last min at night to see damage to my car and then when someone didn't turn up the next day they got on with mine even though it wasn't booked in until day after. Just concerned that when they told me what the work would cost, the bloke also said "you'll off two new tyres as their down to 3mm." But when my husband picked me up, he said that tyres are ok until 1.6mm. As I only do low mileage I didn't actually need new tyres yet. I feel that they made me feel there was an urgency and not really any choice rather than explaining fully. But I also think that this happens at other garages too.

Good place to start the circular walk around the lake which means the cafe is 1/2 way round for a much diserved break and cup of coffee. Oh and a mink lives just by the bridge

Took elderly Polo in for pre-paid MOT, all done, no fuss. Only when I got home and checked paperwork to find it had failed due to both rear indicator bulbs being faded, and then passed because they'd changed the bulbs (I checked). No fuss, no charge. Brilliant customer service! Thanks Guys!

Got 2 new tyres supplied and fitted at a good price, and they swapped a third tyre onto a different rim for me free of charge. Always had good service and prices from them and they are my default place for tyres. Keep it up!

Great service in a COVID secure environment. Lost a star because the online booking system didn't give me the same time as it booked on their system so best to phone and check. They still managed to fit me in so full marks to the local team. With COVID no waiting on site so better be prepared!

I have used Autofit since 2000 and have always been very impressed with the level of professional service and honest advise. I was sorry to see the last manager David leave, as he was a great ambassador for the company and a gentleman. However Jason is now the manager with James as his deputy, both long service employees and held in high esteem by me. Whilst they run the garage their professional way, I will remain a loyal customer. Service with a smile and its a pleasure to have my car cared for by them. Brought the car in a week early without knowing and they where able to fit us in and provide top quality service! Reasonably priced and fast fitting. Had to bring the car back as the alignment of the wheels where out, the fixed it then and there with no extra charge.

They're okay but be careful with their costs and service reports. Said my brakes were 50% worn when they were replaced 6 months before and sat idle for 2 of those months when I buggered off out the country. There's only one conclusion I can make, they didn't even check

Excellent independent garage. I've been using them over the last 4 years for both servicing and tyre fitting, their quality of service is superb and their pricing is very reasonable. If you are currently using a main dealer for your servicing and repairs I'd strongly advise finding yourself a quality independent like Autofit, you'll never look back.

Would definitely recommend this garage. Very helpful and friendly staff. Two of our cars were there last week, both for repairs. Were able to have both looked at very quickly and at a reasonable price. Nothing too much trouble.

In the past I have had good experience with this garage, but two things happened which makes me a bit weary now. I have had an MOT here. The car passed without any advisories. Within a month of that my brakes failed.. My other reservation is that on my wifes car the brakes also had an issue. They advised to replace disks and pads. When I asked to look at the disks, there was nothing visibly wrong and they agreed there was no warping. I was told that they should be replaced anyway. I reluctently agreed, but have a feeling it was maybe not really needed in my case. There were positives in that they managed to fit us at short notice and did work on the weekend.

I’ve got new tyres and tracking done in many places across Felixstowe, Ipswich and Saxmundham but this is the best place so far. Never been more satisfied with the tracking and the guys here are amazing at their job and very efficient, would recommend to anyone :)

Wouldn't go anywhere else, these boys look after you and find you the best tyre deal for your budget. Used to phone around but don't bother now as Autofit always beat every other tyre fitters around. Outstanding customer service and value for money.

I left a CD in the courtesy car they lent me. Many places wouldn't care to return it to me but they thoughtfully saved it and I got it back. I was very pleased because it's my child's favourite. I think this marks them out as being just a bit better than many garages which is why I only use them now. Car seems to be running fine too....

Only place open on Christmas Eve. I felt I had problems with my tyres but they checked my tyres and it was just the pressures that were wrong. They re-did the pressures and no charge was made. I will definitely come here for my MOT, tyres etc.
