Don’t make the mistake I made for twenty years and think that the shabby exterior must equate to a shabby business. When I needed new tyres for my XC90 I tried Kwik Fit and then Xspurt for their assessments. Kwik Fit wanted to sell me tyres which where a like for like replacement of what I had on already - Pirelli Scorpions - rather than my preference - quieter running Goodyears. Xspurt we’re happy to support my preference. KwikFit also weren’t able to explain the tyre umbrella we were getting, whereas Xspurt knew exactly what it was. They are friendly, helpful and provide a first class service at a competitive price.

I arrived without an appointment and was seen immediately by friendly and helpful staff. It took them about 10 minutes to fix loss of tyre pressure caused by corrosion of an alloy wheel and they charged me just £15. What's not to like?

Very good people to deal with ! Been with my friend to have four new tyres on her car .Only on the premises for just over half an hour and that included a FREE check of the alignment of the front wheels ! No adjustment required they said ......they could have easily said adjustment required and fiddled around and charged her .So very honest guys .! Good old school service ...long may it continue ! Haven't been there for years but now I live round the corner it was very convenient. I bought my tyres on line via their Web site and other than that nothing has really changed in the last 20 year, even the adverts for tyres no longer made are on the outside. But service is quick, prices are reasonable and the people that run it are as friendly and polite as they always were. Only dropped a star because if its raining whilst they're fitting you tyres, you have to stand outside in it but you pays yours money you makes your choice.

First time using x spurt tyres today, and it was a brilliant experience. Fast, friendly service. I asked for two new tyres to be fitted (one low tread and one puncture). When the guy changing the tyre looked at the punctured tyre he advised me that the tyre still had good tread and it was an easy fix so he repaired it instead (saving me over £40). The honesty was much appreciated and will definately be using them again in future!

An excellent place to get new tyres. The way it normally works, go in during the morning, order your tyres. Get a call early afternoon, go and get your tyres done. Extremely simple procedure. The staff are always happy and helpful,- thoroughly recommended. Furthermore, prices are much cheaper than more of the local suppliers and tyre shops.

My ford galaxy needed 4 new tyres. Went to auto fit and they told me the best price £95 fitted each. I’m a single mother and couldn’t afford this. I was suggested by a friend to go and see Jim at r j car and commercial and he pointed me in the right direction of x spurt tyres. Went and saw a gentleman called mark. He supplied and fitted including the VAT four brand new tyres for £220. Such an amazing saving and such good service. Would highly recommend this great garage.
