As a woman not knowing to much about cars it's very daunting going to get my car sorted as feel like I'm going to be over charged or just fobbed off, but they made me feel very comfortable from the minute I drove in, so thank you to the guys here! They went above and beyond to help me and a great price, I thought they had under charged me too so had to ask if it was correct. After finding out they are unable to do my back brake pads they give me numbers for someone who can. Definitely not just there for the money!! Thank you again guys! 😊

Always use this place. .Always great service come rain or shine. Much cheaper than local competitors, and if it doesn’t need doing they will be upfront with you, unlike some other local tyre suppliers. Recently needed new brake pads and discs and they saved me £50 by quoting Grips when placing the order.

I can honestly say that I have used Grips on many occasions and always leave with a smile ☺ on my face! They are extremely honest and only ever repair what is in genuine need of repairing. I never have to wait long as they have a great team of fitters working here. The prices are affordable and a puncture repair is very reasonable and even free if you have a one of their leaflets. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I thought I needed a new tyre but after they had looked at it decided all I needed was a puncture repaired. I always put a couple of £s in their charity box....I would recommend them to anyone.

This company are great, always really professional and the cheapest around. Always have the correct tyres I need in stock, when the larger places often have to order them in. Chris double checked all my tyres and found a screw sticking out of one of them, It looked like it had been there for a while but I wouldn't have noticed it, it will be much safer driving now. I brought my son along who loves machines and Chris let us watch what he was doing, explaining what the machines do, really going the extra mile to provide great customer service. Really pleased.

Nice friendly guys. Honoured my free voucher and fixed a refused payment for valve stem a couple of days later which was unrelated. Have also been back for a tire to get through an MOT and it was well priced for essentially a drive through service taking a couple of minutes.

I went at lunchtime so they were half staffed and I was seen within 20 minutes. It was well worth it though because they fixed a leaky valve and saved my tyre. The guy showed me the leaking air in a big tub so I could see for myself. Quick and friendly. Definitely would recommend. It's a drive through with a small yard for a workspace so take the corners slow and you'll be perfectly alright!

Staff are very professional, one of the staff took alot of time out for me and my vehicle, ensured all my tyres were up to the current driving standards. Also pumped up my back wheels free of charge. Be warned this business is set in an extremely tight spot (access in and out) ! If you can barely drive or are cautious about tight spots then avoid (else there maybe a brick wall with your name on it, if you catch my drift) as you don't want to scratch up your pride and beauty.

Landed back from vacation and noticed that I had a flat tyre when I took the car out next morning (it was a Saturday). Since I was planning to sell the car in a few months, I didn't want buy a brand new tyre. Kwik Fit (Blackheath) recommended Grips. I called them immediately and they asked me to come over. I waited for about 10 mins for my turn. They sold me a (hardly) used tyre with still 7mm of ridges on it (so good for at least 5-7 months) for £45 (Kwik Fit only had brand new Michelins for £192) and replaced the tyre in about 15 mins. Good, friendly, cost effective and quick service, I'd recommend them. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is because as soon as I got out and drove about a mile, I got the low tyre pressure warning since the air filled in the new tyre was a bit less.

I suddenly remembered Grips and gave them a try, not only did they fit me in within 30 minutes, but the cost was at least 20% cheaper than the best price I have previously paid for tyres for this car, and there was no pressurised upselling of other services that you get with the usual names.
