Took my car in for an MOT and service. Car needed some extra work, but they were able to knock a significant amount off the original quoted price for me. Very pleased with the professional service, communication and honesty. Will definitely be using again in the future!

Last month I did the MOT test for my car in another garage, it failed and they almost made me give up on my car, saying that the repair would cost me too much, and it would not be worthy to do it, mainly because of the high gas emission. Then, one friend recommended me Stoke Hammond Service Centre to check my car, before I decide to scrap it. Fortunately, they were able to fix it, and it passed the MOT test. Now, about the costs, I’m not sure if it was expensive or not, as I haven’t done a deep research on that. My car failed for 3 main reason: insecure battery, bad osf anti roll bar link, and high exhaust emissions. To secure the battery they charged me £89.95; for replacing the OSF anti roll bar link (including the part) they charged me £65.26; for putting cleaner into the car system to reduce the emission (including 1 intake cleaner and 1 emission reducer products) they charged me £128.31. At the total, with the VAT due, I spent £394.22. Anyway, now the car is ok for using again, and I’m happy with their great service.

Gary is a wonderful man, true pro. I moved from London to Milton Keynes, and I was looking to get an error diagnosed promptly. They diagnosed the issue quickly and offered a fair price to fix the issue. The error light came on again, they said bring it back, and they did this for free. I was then offered a service as a full health check, which was done. All this across two days. I recommend the garage and Gary's advice. James

Ok, where do I start with this one.. recently bought a second hand car and had it for a service from an online broker. Things didn’t go to plan, so i decided to take my car to SH Garage after a brief conversation with Gary. I am so glad i did. Gary and the team really sorted things out for me. Gary gave me the full details of issues he found from the initial servicing and gave me video evidence that was really helpful. He then detailed me the other issues that were probable and the roadmap to fix these issues with very reasonable indicative costs. As I had only just bought the vehicle from a second hand dealer, Gary again was instrumental in giving me his expert opinion on the best course of action and also my rights as a consumer. In terms of the work carried out, communication was clear and timely and there were no surprises. Work has been guaranteed for 12 months and I am super happy with both the work carried out and also the professionalism and integrity shown by Gary and Stoke Hammond Service Centre.
