Visited Martins Tyres today due to a puncture. They certainly don't muck about here, park up, tell them the problem and they're on it. Charged £15 for a repair which is exceptional and lets face it, they could have tried to scam me out of bying a new tyre. As others have said, they are honest and reliable. To me, reputation matters which is why I will only go to Matins Tyres when I need anything tyre related. Great stuff guys, not many honest places like you around anymore. 5 stars.

Martins is quite a busy place due to the way the system is run. There are plenty of people to keep cars running through and on their way. Aug 2022 Great service as usual. Ordered in 4 tyres which were there the next day (they have high stock levels, but these were an unusual tyre). They’re always super efficient at every stage of ordering, fitting and payment. Helpful and pleasant too. They check rims before removing the tyres and I could see how they were careful using the air gun not to mar the bolt holes. Bolts were then hand torque checked. If you’re fussy about correct torque, it’s worth mentioning this before they refit as they tend to use a generic torque. 2020 My wife’s car developed a puncture. Martin’s did not have the tyres in stock, but got them over the weekend so I could go on the Monday. They are operating a 1 in 1 out approach and everything is being done with proper distancing. Martin’s were quick to say they could repair the puncture which was done in under 10 mins. The usual great service and never a worry of any attempt to oversell. I previously mentioned here that they only do manual alignment, but I'm told they now have computer alignment.

Fabulous service yesterday from Martins Tyres when our Motability car tyre went completely flat in seconds in Chobham and the RAC said 3-4 hours even though we had our severely autistic Grandson in the car. Two great guys came out took the wheel off to the workshop and were back within twenty minutes to put the wheel back on . Can’t thank them enough for rescuing us !!

First time I’ve used Martins. A neighbour recommended them. I’ve always used the folks you book online and they visit you at home/work. Never again! You just turn up, wait your turn (I waited a whole 3 minutes), drive in, tell them what you want and wait while a team of lovely polite, friendly lads swarm over your vehicle and get it done. Took less than 10 minutes. And the price was a good 25% less than I’d have paid otherwise. The best!

You don't have to wait for a booking, just pop in and will be served. Great place to get tyres at a good price, with a good range to pick from. Friendly fast service with a constant flow of cars going in and out as it is so popular you may have to queue on the road for a few minutes. There is a waiting room but I have not used it as cars seem to be in and out so quickly. They dont try to sell you extras and give good honest advice. Tracking can also be checked and adjusted for a reasonable price. Highly recommended establishment.

Charlie who served me was able to offer a repair for my tyre rather than having to have a complete new tyre.. i had gone to another local company on Saturday who could hardly be bothered to help me and told me it was un-repairable. Visited them twice. Incredible customer service. I've been to our branded car service 4 times and they could not resolve the leak from the front left tyre, even replaced the tyre and still same issue. We moved locally so I thought to give Martin Tyres a try and I'm super happy I did. They're incredible, they sorted the leak within 20 min, never had same issue again and that was 8 months ago. I visited again today as I had a faulty tyre pressure sensor. Again fixed within 10 minutes and all resolved, something our branded service couldn't do in the last 5 months. They are incredible, amazing people, amazing service, top quality and this is now my only place to go!!! You are the best!!!

I always enjoy visiting here. The guys can be a bit gruff in a no-nonsense kind of way, but the service is good and the prices more than competitive. I went to Martins Tyres yesterday because my front and rear tyres on the right side seems to loose pressure over time. Although they were very busy, the whole process took only 20 mins from start to end. It turned out that the wheels were corroded hence air slipped out through gaps. They managed to seals and clean the wheels for me. The charge was very reasonable and I was very impressed. Absolutely loved the friendliness and services there.

Solid service and reasonable price has made me use them as my preferred place always ! Have been using them for years due to their honest and transparent approach and service!! Slight let down is the upselling they started to do now recently which is disappointing and makes me apprehensive now in how much to trust their advice. What used to be a simple tyre service, they now offer wheel allignment for 10 pounds per wheel. Its a very manual and primitive process by using metal stands and a mirror.

Never beaten on price or service and on the rare occasions they don't have a specific tyre in stock (obscure size Dunlop Sport Maxx for my BMW or for a Bentley) they can get them in 24 hrs. Simply don’t even consider going anywhere else for your tyres. Always the best price and best service. They will not charge you any more than is absolutely necessary. If they can repair a tyre they will otherwise will source the most reasonably priced option. We’ve been using them for over ten years.

The service was efficient and they are well staffed (i visited on a saturday morning). However, the customer service I experienced was quite poor: instead of being consulted as to options for tyre replacement, they cracked right on and replaced all four tyres! Also, there was rubbing on both the front tyres but i had to suggest that they perhaps needed tracking. It felt to me like they were "going through the motions" and to me that is not great customer service. Disappointed.

Usually I'll go in early morning & their experience staff will change a full set of 4 tyres within 15-20 minutes, recently I had a puncture at home immobilising my car, I rang Martins Tyres & explained that the tyre wouldn't hold any pressure, they ordered in 2 tyres overnight, CAME OUT to me, took 2 wheels off, back to West End, fitted new tyres & re-fitted to my car, service beyond reproach. This is the 3rd time I've been to Martins Tyres. Twice they have repaired a puncture for a mere £10 fee and I also have had 2 new rear tyres - very reasonably priced. The service is very quick and efficient (once you are at the front of the queue) and it always comes with a smile, even when the poor staff are stuck out in the freezing rain and bitter wind. 5this is such a great place for tyre change. These guys know what they are doing and are quick and know the job. They have plenty of tyres from various prices, depending on what you need to spend. They will do the tracking for you also. They will do the job and report back to you if something needs discussing, they will not set you up or get you to pay out more, even if you are female on your own. They are on the go but I have never waited for more than 3 minutes. You cue up to the side of road and wait to be called to a place. Just have a chat and they will get on with it. All tyres are new not repaired second hand stuff.

How a tyre service should be run. After finding out about this place I won't go anywhere else. The best prices, I could find locally. Sound advice and very knowledgeable. The service is the best you'll find and at a speed that's hard to believe. I arrived on a Saturday afternoon after calling to check if they had the tyres I needed. I was quoted a price and told the tyres were in without any delay to even check a computer system! On arrival there were 3 cars a head of mine and I was still driving away less than half hour later with 4 new tyres fitted and balanced. And it's been the same on the further 3 visits I've made there.

Get your tyres here! Used many times before, today (9am) was the first time the tyres I asked for weren't stocked items. No bother, they could be ordered and delivered same day - voicemail left at 2:30pm to say they were in, by 3:30pm I'm back home with new tyres fitted. Martins Tyres are brilliant. Been totally spoiled over the years and only just realised now that I live further away. The service is normally blindingly quick and professional if a bit rough and ready. Don't expect clean shirts and manicured finger nails. These boys work hard! I used to regularly turn up with odd wheels and tyres and they would always help me out in a heartbeat. They always had price options for you if you wanted to change brand of tyre and were always just about the cheapest you could find.. My only criticism would be sometimes they did the wheel nuts up so tight, I struggled to get them undone when I needed to!

As a family we've been using Martins tyres since we moved to the area in the early 80s. Their prices have always been exceptionally good and the service quick and efficient. The place may not be glamorous, but when you're buying tyres that really doesn't matter. Unlike many other tyre fitters they never try to hard sell the cheapest tyre with the biggest profit margin. If you've no specific tyre in mind then they give an honest choice between budget, mid range or premium without trying to claim that the budget tyres are just as good as the premium. On the rare occasion that the specific tyres that I want aren't in stock then they can get them in for very first thing the following morning. My only slight criticism is that after fitting, then the tyre pressures invariably need lowering to the correct psi, but that's hardly an onerous task and if it keeps the wait to a minimum then I can live with that!

I have used Martins Tyres for a number of years and always find them to be the best price and they have always had the tyres I need in stock. I recently visited to get new Continental rear tyres on my Mercedes CLK. Unfortunately I had forgotten to check if the locking wheel nut was in the car and 'sods law' I had taken it out a few days before. The two fitters that were dealing with my car said they would have a look through a big tub full of spare wheel nut keys to see if they had a match, which they did and so I didn't have a wasted journey.
