Really high quality work, I have had Mini and Porsche wheels done here and each have turned out fabulously. See pics. They’re honest about what’s possible too, with a real focus on the safety of using the wheel once refurb’d. Nice guys and girls too, taking the time to explain the process and show me various colours and finishes, sharing their own views on how the finished wheels would look. Fair and transparent pricing too. All in all, fab.

Great service from Primo Alloys today and they fixed the buckled wheel on my Mini while I waited, all in 40 minutes. There's customer toilets on site along with a quiet waiting room which was perfect for checking messages and emails while the work was done.

These guys are GOOD! They were recommended by a friend so I asked them to powder coat a set of wheels for me and also needed a hairline crack welding. I didn't give them an easy colour either - my wheels were diamond cut, but I've seen too many horror stories about lacquer peeling off a few months down the line, so decided to powder coat. I asked them if they could get as close as possible to the diamond cut look and I think they look even better than diamond cut now to be honest. Since my car was in the body shop, the job was time dependent and I needed it done in less than 2 days. These guys did it in less than 24 hours!! My car has been in the body shop for about 4 weeks getting various bits done and panels resprayed. After coming out of the body shop, the only thing people compliment are the wheels! In fact, the body shop were so impressed by the work, they were considering using Primo for their future wheel refurbs. Would 100% use these guys again.

I can’t emphasise how helpful the guys at primo have been, I’m a trade customer and have had awful experiences locally and decided to give the guys at primo a shot at a family members wheel, VW group car with a Pain In The A45E pearl black wheel to repair and colour match. The managed it and were polite jovial and professional throughout. The wheel refurb is of a high standard both in finish and attention to detail, the weights used were black on a black wheel, something some companies don’t bother doing. 5* gents and I will be back! As the owner of Original Car Spa I've used Primo for eight years now and have around 20 sets of wheels a year refurbished. I rely on my suppliers to give a good service for my clients and Primo are the longest serving supplier for me. During my time with Primo I have had one set of wheels gone wrong. A new paint / lacquer mix had been used and had gone wrong. I spoke with Kevin the owner. He was round within 24 hours, wheels picked up and returned in a further 48 hours completely redone with updates and a no b/s apology. Each set of wheels I take in are checked for cracks, buckles and twists. Mike and the supporting team, Tom and Daryl are always friendly and helpful. If you read that Kev is a little blunt - he is. But if you're an adult it should not be off putting. He wants to know what you're looking for and if he can supply. He like me, also get a fair share of people 'trying it on' and any small business chap gets fed up with it after a while. I've tried 6 other wheel refurbishers and Primo are the best. They do offer warranties, they do a bloody good job and they do make suggestions to make things better. There's a couple of rather misleading reviews on here. All small businesses get them. But if you want a good wheel job or any of their latest offerings - go to Primo.

Can’t rate these guys highly enough. Started losing tyre pressure due to a bent inside rim that was causing the tyre wall to slip over the wheel where air could escape I needed it done ASAP so I could get to a job. Despite a heavy workload (they’re really busy), they managed to fix my tyre in under an hour, and it only cost £60 I’m so grateful to these guys. When I got the bill, I’d been bracing myself for 250-300 quid, and I couldn’t believe when it was as low as it was. Drove in there feeling like I was a massive problem, and left feeling like I’d just had a minor inconvenience. Absolutely brilliant.

Great all round service. They fixed my cracked alloy which Audi said could not be repaired and Audi wanted to charge £1300. Primo alloys did it for £96. I would definitely recommend this company.

Following a pot hole alloy crack , I contacted Kevin at primo and Mike the alloy man kindly told me that the alloy couldn’t be repaired as it was too unsafe .. this would have been the third repair.. primo did a great job the second time following a not so great bodge first repair by another unnamed company.. primo customer service was excellent .. Mike was honest about safety and whilst I thought it was a big ask I appreciated his honesty.. so to save me from being stranded they lent me a wheel so I could get about whilst waiting for the new alloy.. when the new alloy arrived they kindly put new tyre on .. their customer service is excellent and would highly recommend their service .

Very honest, helpful and friendly staff. Called me to let me know when to collect my wheel, which was done in the agreed time frame. I was very pleased with the finished product, excellent quality and colour match. My alloy wheel was balanced and inflated back to the correct pressure, so didn't have to fiddle about with tyre pressure sensor settings in the car, when I put it back on to the car. I would recommend Primo Alloys.

I had my BMW Style 32 alloys refurbished here over a year ago. I was still undecided as to what colour I wanted. I was shown a few options and settled for a black chrome effect which turned out great. A couple of weeks later I had to replace a tyre as I got a nail in it. I took it to a local cheap tyre shop to swap it who badly scratched the wheel. I called Primo alloys and explained what had happened and they said to bring it straight down. They had to re do the process again as the damage was so bad and I had the wheel back within 24hrs! Absolutely fantastic service and quality of work. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic. I arrived unannounced and left 90 minutes later with wheel mended. Can't normally expect that speed of service but on this occasion couldn't fault it. Incidentally, Primo came recommended by my regular tyre fitter.

March 2015. Genuinely impressed. Had 4 split rim alloys on my BMW Z4 refurbished and recoloured in gunmetal grey. Was completed in one and a half days (half day sooner than expected ). Top quality work at a good competitive price. Friendly and accommodating service. They even spotted a missing wheel nut and put one on at no charge. No hesitation to recommend.

End product seems to be very good, but the overall front of house welcome/service has a lot to be desired, the first impressions of this company were extremely poor, very rude abrupt counter service, basically feels like you are wasting their time, by asking a simple question... "How much to refurb alloy wheels?"When/if you go there, please expect a greeting,.. Like you have just walked into somebodies living-room, without being invited, while they are watching an extremely important game of football!! If I had no choice, I would have to use them again, but I would rather go elsewhere, where the customer service would be warmer.

The only alloy place within a twenty mile radius that could provide temporary wheels whilst they refurbished my alloys so that I could still drive my car around. And 30% cheaper than the alternative vendors to boot! Great service guys, thank you.

I had my alloys for my Golf refinished by Primo Wheels, which were in a fairly hideous state. The Workshop is walking distance from Guildford Station and I met Mike at 7.30am to deliver the car. The wheels were ready early the next morning and I got the train back from Epsom to pick them up. Other workshops quoted 2-3 days which would have been inconvenient and the refinishing which is in an anthracite grey is first class. I am very pleased with the service and will be dropping my wife's Mini in soon to get her wheels done.

I had a set of 4 very tired and worn OZ wheels fully refurbished by Primo Alloys. The wheels are now like brand new, very impressed. Kevin, Mike and James helped me with advice and gave me an accurate price prior to dropping the wheels off, they also fitted and balanced my new tyres. James was extremely knowledgeable on wheel and tyre fitment and took the time to talk to me on both dropping off and collecting the wheels. I run Original Car Spa, the No 1 car wash and valeting service in Surrey (scoure: Heycarwash.co.uk). We use Kevin and the team for all our wheels and have yet to have a problem. These guys know wheels, colours and shades. We regularly have a vehicle coming in for a full detail which will include wheel refurbishment and/or a colour change. This is what we use Primo for. I can fully recommend the service, wheel refurb and genuine curiosity in wheels at Primo. Price does not always mean a superior job and this company is both reasonable in price and, after trying quite a few other wheel companies, I can recommend these guys. Alastair Stott

Fantastic service from these guys today. I walked in off the street, rather frantic because my tyre was fully deflating every 90 minutes. The guys at the Guilford branch found the problem within minutes (a crack in my steel wheel,) took my wheel off, popped a spare one on my car for the weekend and sent me on my way with a cheery wave and a promise to call me as soon as my one was fixed. Could not have gone better. Would strongly recommend. (There's also a micro-brewery next door. Just saying.)

I had scuffed and dented my alloy on a 420i BMW. It was in a pretty bad shape. Went through many alloy repair websites and finally chose primoalloys. It was all in the last minute and on a saturday evening but I was still being contacted and given a quote via email on sunday which goes to tell you how determined the people at primoalloys are. I was told there would be a sort of a scar line at the point where i had dented the wheel as they would have to cut it and weld it. But the end result is amazing, no scar and the alloy looks brand new. Would recommend the shop in a heartbeat, great service and customer friendly as well.
