The Taxi Tour was an unforgettable experience. Barry was a brilliant guide. A self-confessed atheist, his knowledge of the Troubles was delivered with wisdom, pathos, humour and such balanced impartiality it was impossible to guage which side of the divide he was originally from. The tour was a fantastic experience from first to last and is something we will never forget .

We had the private tour from Belfast to Derry. Barry was our guide for the day.
Barry was fantastic , showing us all the sights. His knowledge was amazing and he answered all our questions. He looked after us all day showing us a great pub for lunch and the highest pub in Ireland for a quick drink on the way home. Fantastic trip would highly recommend a tour with Barry.

Our private tour to Derry was excellent! Barry was very knowledgeable and we thoroughly enjoyed our day with him. We tailored the tour so I was able to see my family’s town and local churches. We then continued on to Derry to take in all the sights including, the Derry murals, Bloody Sunday memorial, Guild Hall and Peace Bridge. I would highly recommend this tour.

The Giants Causeway Tour is such a great way to see some beautiful landmarks in Northern Ireland. Barry, our tour guide, was awesome. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Barry was able maximize our time to experience some great destinations and not feel rushed. Highly recommend!

Me and my partner took the Belfast Taxi Tour and had an excellent time. Barry was a fantastic tour guide, he offered amazing insight and even shared stories of his own experiences growing up. Couldn't recommend the tour enough.

Barry was a fantastic tour guide. He was so knowledgeable and keen to share not only the history of Belfast but also his personal experiences which made the tour even more interesting. Thoroughly recommend!

Barry and Brian were both excellent tour guides (our family group split into two groups). I would highly recommend this tour! Barry gave us indepth context snd history and like a great teacher, made me want to learn more on my own about the rich and tragic history of this area. Both Brian and Barry were easy to talk to and open to our many questions! Highly recommend if you are looking for way to explore and respect the history of Belfast. .

Had a fantastic private tour with Barry of the Giants Causeway and nearby attractions. We are a family of 5 with two young kids, so Barry arranged carseats for us and brought snacks and drinks for the ride. Everything was terrific and we saw incredible scenery and countryside in Ireland. Barry gave us lots of information about the history of the places we passed through and Northern Ireland in general which was really fascinating, we all learned a lot. My 5 and 6 year old said this trip was their favorite outing in our entire vacation in Ireland and I agree. I would highly recommend this company and Barry as a guide - it was a fantastic day for all of us. Thank you!

This was an amazing tour. Barry was our tour guide. He was so knowledgeable and passionate about the cities history. He also took pictures of us and sent them on after tour. Great personal service. Would highly recommend this tour.

This was absolutely amazing! It was such an eye-opening experience into the history of Belfast! Barry was able to help bring that history to life for us! You could feel the passion in his voice! Would highly recommend it had made our trip and we will definitely be back again! 😊🙌🏽

This tour was the first thing I did when I arrived in Belfast and I'm so glad I did. Barry was a superb guide. He had do much information and knowledge and he's very easy to get along with. You would struggle to find all the locations you are taken to on this tour on your own and know what everything was about without a guide. I learned a lot. A must do for anyone visiting Belfast.

We had a private tour of part of Belfast and then onto Strangford lough. After we had crossed the lough we stopped for lunch then went onto see some of the locations used in Game of Thrones. We then travelled on to see Saint Partricks statue and grave and the site of the first Christian Church in Ireland.
Our tour guide for the day was Barry who was a fountain of knowledge about the area we travelled through and about the history of Ireland.
We would recommend using Barry as your tour guide anytime. The whole day was a fantastic experience.

A great tour so informative and gives a fascinating insight into the history of Belfast. Our guide Barry was so friendly and welcoming, his knowledge on Belfast’s history was vast. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in the history between Ireland and the Uk, Belfasts history and it’s amazing artwork.

We had a great time with Giants causeway Tours, this one day tour covered all the places we planned to cover and also few spots which came as a surprise. Our tour operator Barry was very friendly and knowledgeable. Day well spend with lots of memories to take back 🙂

Myself and my sisters had a very enjoyable tour with Barry. He was full of knowledge talking us through the history and current affairs of the area. Barry also gave us lots of great tips on other tourist attractions and activities to complete while in Belfast. We would highly recommend this tour and Barry as the tour guide.

This tour was everything I had hoped for and more. Barry was very knowledgeable about the local history and took the time to help me locate my own family plot at Milltown. Excellent tour and would recommend to anyone who wants to have a real understanding of Belfast, now and then.

I really enjoyed the taxi tour with Barry . Very funny man and answered any questions I had honestly and truthfully. His knowledge and insight was second to none on the past troubles in Belfast. Very sad some of the stories , but going on this tour I learned a lot that I didn’t know . It gives you a bigger appreciation of what the people of Belfast went through in the war.
Thanks Barry!

Earlier today, Barry our Tour Guide, an absolute gentleman, collected my partner and I from our accommodation in Belfast city. From the beginning Barry explained where he was going to take us and what we would see. The history of our ancestors from the time the Celts came to settle in Ireland to the time Oliver Cromwell traveled from England to invade and take over Ireland causing murder and mayhem in the 9 months he spent here.
From Wolfe Tone to the freedom fighters in the 1916 Rising to the courageous Hunger Strikers in the early 1980's, we were brought through hundreds of years of the Irish struggle to have freedom in the country they were born into.
Barry brought us through the War inflicted on Northern Ireland by Britain commencing in August 1969 where he shared the suffering and trauma experienced by most if not all families born in the 6 counties in Northern Ireland. Growing up during that period we could see has clearly left its mark on the lives of all who live here.
We were brought through the Falls Road and parts of the Shankhill area which are separated by The Peace Wall which is approx 2 miles long. Never before had we seen first hand such an indepth history of the country we are part of but separated from.
We came away 90 minutes later with a more profound admiration for people trying to live in peace having been forced through 30 years of trauma and suffering. Peace to you and yours Barry.

Lovely tour by Allen's tours in Belfast. Our driver Lindsey was very funny and very informative. Gave us enough time at every stop to take poctures. Kept telling us stories about the historical sites. The bus was comfortable. The price was the cheapest amongst all the competitors and the bus leaves at 9:30 am which is the latest.

Fantastic insight into the history of the city of Belfast, Barry made the experience very enjoyable and picked us up/dropped us off at our hotel to make it even more convenient. Thanks again

We had a great listening to Barry and talking to him about Belfast’s history you can tell he really enjoys what he’s doing and he’s brilliant at making all the information easy to follow

We spent the afternoon getting shown around the city by Barry and it was brilliant. He gave us a background as to how Northern Ireland was created, the events during the troubles and what the city is like today. He had loads of first hand stories and brought us to many crucial spots in Belfast’s history, he even was a personal photographer for us! Great way to see the city and hear it from a real local, highly recommend!!

Done the Taxi Tour of Belfast with Barry. He picked us up at our hotel door. What an amazing experience. A real eye opener. Barry was just fantastic. So friendly and passionate about the history of Belfast. We were brought to some fascinating places and told about the history, the murals and peace wall. Barry was full of knowledge and was able to answer any questions we had. I cannot recommend Barry highly enough. It was a pleasure to meet you and do the tour with you! Next time we are back we will be in contact for another tour! Would recommend Barry to any family member or friends going to Belfast looking to do a tour.

We (Gudmund, Derval, Cedric and Charlie) thoroughly enjoyed and were moved by Barry‘s superb guided Black Taxi Tour, informing us of Belfast’s story in an engaging, personal manner. We will be back with friends on the future to share again this unique experience woth them. Thank you, Barry!

We went on the taxi cab tour around Belfast with Barry. Had a very enjoyable evening and got great insight into the history of Belfast and visited the murals and the peace wall. It was great to see it all from the perspective of a local. Barry was very accommodating, would recommend this tour to anybody visiting Belfast! 😃

A great tour hosted by Barry. His insight knowledge and background to the history of Belfast and associated troubles was excellent.

I spent a couple of hours with Barry on a tour of the murals whilst in Belfast and it was worth every penny. Not only is he talking from personal experience which makes the tour quite an emotional one, but his level of knowledge is quite incredible. There was a lot I didn't know about the troubles in Belfast, and after booking this, I decided not to research because I know there is a massive amount of propaganda and lies surrounding it all. I wanted to listen to someone who had experienced it and try and understand it through their experience.
It was incredibly emotional listening to the stories. As a teenager, I remember certain things on the news but the things we were told and the facts definitely don't always align. Watching it through a TV screen doesn't allow you to even begin to comprehend the level of violence and the deadly consequences that resulted. The loss of life is staggering, especially the loss of children. Death during conflict is always horrific, but when children are targeted, a whole new level of horrific is achieved.
Barry talked passionately about it. He was an open book and for that I am so grateful. It was moving, devastating, shaming and incredible. I cannot recommend the taxi tour highly enough. It was worth every penny and I will be back to do it again.

Had a great tour with Barry, he is great at explaining all the history and bringing us to all the different spots. He was very friendly too and brilliant at what he does, I would definitely recommend doing the taxi tour, it’s a must while you’re in Belfast!

Barry was a wonderful guide. I hired him for two days but we ended up spending three together. He showed me the sites associated with Game of Thrones, the geological formations and beautiful scenery on the north coast, and Belfast. Mine was a solo tour so Barry planned the activities according to my interests. I was never rushed.
Perhaps the most interesting thing which happened on this tour was that I came away with a real sense of how the Troubles shaped Northern Ireland. I thought I knew a lot about what happened there but was helped to see it completely differently through Barry’s eyes. He has first hand knowledge of things and he is willing to share his convictions in a positive but powerful way. At the same time he brought balance to the issue helping me to understand the rights and wrongs of both side of the divide which gave rise to the violence. I was also able to see a new NI which is very much alive and moving forward.
Barry is a really good conversationalist. We shared several nice meals together. We even went shopping together to replace a hat I lost. You cannot go wrong with Barry for a specific tour like the Giant’s Causeway, but it would be better to engage him for a whole day or longer if time permits. I’d give him a six star rating!

Our tour guide Barry was very good. Extremely knowledgeable and ensured we had a very good tour.

We had the pleasure of using Barry as our guide and our day was truly one of the best days on our 10 day vacation. Barry picked us up at our hotel and our entire day was carried out as planned in advance. Barry not only arranged for us to visit every requested place on our itinerary, but he came prepared with umbrellas and local knowledge that made our day trip a dream. His air conditioned roomy vehicle was a comfortable fit, as he recalled local history along our drive. I can’t say enough good things about this wonderful day. Not only did we see some amazingly beautiful scenery, but we had the opportunity to gain a little insight on beautiful Ireland and it’s people. What a wonderful place with a rich history. We will definitely be back. Thank you Barry, for a day we and our friends will never forget. It was a pleasure.

Fabulous tour guide with such a wealth of knowledge from both sides of the troubles. Was amazing to get a first hand account of what growing up in Belfast was like and how things have changed and are thankfully continuing to change. Barry was more than open when answering our questions and made us feel very at ease asking anything we were wondering and was so easy to hold a conversation with- no awkward silences! Gave us great recommendations for the rest of our trip and even dropped us out to the Crumlin road to visit the gaol. Has to be the best in the business, can’t recommend enough!

Being in my 60's, I have a recollection of the conflicts happening in the 80's from news reports in the USA. After looking at several tour descriptions (10 min here, then 10 minutes there), I felt I really wanted a full understanding from a local person that lived this, not just a driver that pointed out spots to take a picture. The tour Barry gave was probably the most insightful afternoon I have spent in a long time. I left the day with an entirely new perspective on the issues in Belfast. If you want to just have a few pictures that say you've been there... take a short tour... but if you really want to know the IRA conflicts... this is the only one your should take.

Excellent tour, Barry was a brilliant tour guide. He was extremely informative. A very enjoyable experience and would highly recommend.

Our historical tour of Belfast was briliant from start to finish. Our guides knowlege was very clear and his connection and emotion towards the troubles was very sincere and provided a very interesting detailed tour. You could almost imagine what had happened. Definitely would recommend anyone to go on this type of tour when in belfast. It has opened our eyes to what was going on in our own country.

What a great day tour! My wife has not stopped talking about it, Giants Causeway Tours picked us up from our hotel in central Belfast, we chose to do the Giants Causeway with the Game of Thrones filming locations as well as the rope bridge! This is an amazing tour with some of the finest scenery in Ireland. My wife crossed the bridge while I watched, we were lucky though as the weather was really nice although it did rain a few times. we stopped for lunch at the delicious Fullerton Arms they have an iron throne which you get to sit in! All in all a great day
Thanks Giants Causeway Tours

We recently went on a private Famous Belfast Murals tour as part of a 60th birthday celebration stay in the city. Our tour guide was warm and welcoming, and clearly very knowledgeable of his subject, as he took us on a tour of many of Belfast's infamous murals, telling the story of the conflict, the opposing views of the two sides and the personal stories of tragedy behind a number of the murals. It really brought home to us the extent of the conflict and the deep-rooted distrust between Loyalist and Nationalist communities, and just how real and present day the divisions still are. The fact that our tour guide had grown up with the conflict, knew people who had been killed by the violence and could tell us about shocking realities like a "spray and pray" attack made it all so very real; this was no history textbook. A very informative and sobering hour and a half. Thank you!

Barry gave us a wonderful tour of Giants Causeway and surrounding sights. The weather was blustery but Barry kept us warm with his commentary and wonderful and complete knowledge of the area. I highly recommend his services.

Barry our tour guide was very informative and good craic, was in no way rushy and give lots of time at every stop, hugely enjoyable experience.

Unforgettable tour. Barry, the driver and the tour guide, gives so many stories. His words are easy to hear for me who do not have much background knowledge, but the contents are deep enough to contemplate the situation of this land and, eventually, political matters of the whole world.
A. M.
Brilliant tour today with Barry, he was so knowledgeable about the area and the history of Belfast/Northern Ireland - I'd highly recommend him and the tour, he gave so much information that even those who think they know alot about the troubles would be taken by surprise

Barry from Giants Causeway was a wonderful guide - very well informed about history and current events , and full of the kind of inside knowledge that isn’t in any guidebook and makes a tour worth taking . Excellent value and highly recommended.

We had to cancel our Giants Causeway Tour due to COVID 19 causing the cancellation of our vacation (for now - we will get there next year!). We were refunded very smoothly and quickly with absolutely no issues. We will book with them again when we get to Ireland due to their professional handling of this and their great reviews! Hope to see you before long!

(Translated) I really liked it, the feeling is indescribable, I will definitely go away yet. I went around everywhere. Admission is free, you just have to go straight under the bridge if you want to start from below and go higher, well if you want from the top then choose the path up the hill and then you will climb up and finish under the bridges. I was from the bottom, it was always a picture and that feeling came up, so uplifting ... An indescribable feeling, next time I will start from the top ... But I don't even doubt that if you are now, choose from the bottom up for the first time, because others started from top it '' nothing special '' that description I have no idea at all I ... it I think I chose well as the first time. I recommend, well if you want to pay you can go inside, then you will see the museum, some information about the giant's path, I was not there because I took advantage of the information that it's free ...

Man labai patiko, jausmas neapsakomas, dar tikrai nuvyksiu.
