You can walk through this old tunnel that was once part of the sprotbrough branch line. You can see the old railway cutting on Google maps that runs all the way through to sprotbrough and cusworth and beyond You will need a decent torch and also wellies if its not mid summer Nice bit of history to visit though before it gets filled in one day

I like going through this tunnel. DON'T mix up with CONISBROUGH Tunnel! A torch with a bright beam is recommended. There is a dogleg in here so the other end can't be seen.
