£10 per adult to have an hour’s cruise on the river. Boat has a bar and drinks are reasonably priced. There’s also commentary as well giving insightful facts about Durham’s history. It’s well worth the money. Would highly recommend.

Went on the boat trip. Dogs allowed. 1 hour long. Would recommend

Did the noon cruise on Saturday 17 September (2022). The crew were really helpful. Had a lovely hour on the river, with informative, witty commentary interspersed with quiet spells to enjoy the lovely scenery and views of the cathedral. Also enjoyed a G&T brought to our seats.

Relaxing trip up and down the Wear, interesting, good natured commentary. Amazingly, the grandkids loved it, too.

Great mini cruise, we were lucky and the weather was good so we sat at the top deck throughout the cruise. We parked at Prince Bishop's car park, took the stairs all the way to the ground floor and we were just 50 yards away from the start of the cruise. You pay once you are on the boat and there are light refreshment on offer to buy.

Great price for this hour long cruise. Very relaxing and peaceful with great views. It is informative and a great oppertunity to see the sights from a new perspective. There is an on board bar and toilets. There is also disabled access making this accessable for all. Well worth a visit.

Very worthwhile cruise for only £7.95 for two people on Groupon. Very knowledgeable man driving the boat and helpful wife who offers good customer service and is very polite. Alcohol served on board and area at the back for my partner to smoke too. Definitely worth the money and lots of facts and history about Durham to immerse yourself in whilst on the river in stunning locations.

Really enjoyable. It was a lovely day on a boat with a licensed bar. Durham looks great from the river, and the pilot was informative and funny.

Did the cruise on a baking hot day and the views were great and the very well informed skipper was good to listen to. I recommend.

Lovely visit. Too quite at the back especially if people are talking. Bit more information would be even more great. Lovely times not too quick or too short. Old cruise but still clearly works well. You get the option to have beverages on board of you want and you can pay on the cruise or on the Groupon deal.
