Nice place to be. On one side is the old town with the Edinburgh Castle and on the other side is the Princess Street. The Waverley Train Station is located just down the street. Bus tickets as well as weekly, monthly & yearly passes are available. Staff are courteous.

I visited the booking office after I realized I had left my wallet on a No 25 bus from the park and ride into Waverly steps. The young lady I spoke to was so helpful, and after making phone calls and checks found my wallet had been handed to the bus driver. I was directed to Waverly steps again to meet the same bus on its way back and after checking my details ,the driver handed me back my wallet. What excellent service in this day and age. I would like to say thanks to all involved.

It's a shame that you can only top up zone c travel cards in store (bit tricky if you commute everyday during the working week, but atleast you do have Saturday to get in to top up. Just closed on Sundays). I tried to leave my email with staff to get a few questions answered about where zone B ends and zone C starts but due to policy it wasn't allowed. Bit of a shame, because the staff are very friendly and helpful but a better way to get travel questions answered might make this company's customers far happier with the service :)

I go to top up my smart card and it's normally a quick transaction. There's separate queues for the buses and it doesn't seem to be too busy. Located on Waverley Bridge, just off Princes Street, it's convenient for everyone, tourists and locals. On my most recent visit, the card machines weren't working, so I had to come back because who carries cash in 2020? Apart from that, it's always a pleasant experience.

Went there to get my ridacard made and the line was so long! But hats off to the employees there, they were so fast that I only had to wait 5-7 minutes and my turn came. They went through all the steps really quickly and 10 minutes later I already got my card printed and working! Maybe they should think about making this travel shop a bit bigger. I had a very pleasant experience. Lots of people are there to help you as well.

Buses are very frequent and the drivers have all been very helpful and friendly so far. One rate for every trip making it easier to work out fares. Bus pass covers day trips on buses and trams and night service. Well worth it if you travel a lot.

Very helpful friendly staff. Note that I believe this is the only place you can get your Edinburgh public transport card. There is a photo on the card, so when I made this my first stop after my flight I had to live with the consequence of a terrible looking photo on my card

Popped in here today to grab some bus tickets and was well impressed. I've not been since they refurbished it (I guess for the tram launch) and it's looking really nice. Well lit, bright and clean. There was no line at all and I was served without fuss.

Visited for the purpose of getting a ridacard the process was so far and easy, you wait for the line, fill out a form with personal details and they take a picture of you which will be on the card, after a few minutes of wait your card is ready and you can instantly top it up and use it, simple and fast, recommended if you are using public transport on the daily.

I needed to replace my almost worn out super-useful Lothian Buses Rida Card; hence I hit the Waverley LB shop. The customer service lady was very welcoming and efficient as she redirected me to the “new bus pass” section of the counter over which I filled a new form with my data, got my picture taken and was kindly advised to wait at the end of the counter… waited 3 minutes tops and…voilà…brand new bus pass was ready to go. Couldn’t get any easier…and the replacement was free of charge…

Schnelle und freundliche Beratung im Travelshop an der Waverley Bridge. Ausstellung einer Rida-Card verlief ohne Probleme (lohnt sich ab 4 Tagen Aufenthalt, man kann damit auch die Tram und die Airlink-Busse nehmen und muss nicht ständig nach passendem Kleingeld suchen). Das Busnetz ist m.E. gut aufgestellt, einzig die Suche nach dem richtigen Busstop auf der Princes Street ist etwas mühselig. Aber mit einem Bus kommt man z.B. schnell nach Portobello oder zum botanischen Garten und die Parkplatzsuche entfällt entsprechend ganz.
