Great way to see London. Make sure you take some plug in head phones so you can hear the recorded tour guide

I booked the night tour online with a 10% discount but when I got to the stand (#21 Victoria stand opposite Vagabond Restaurant towards Buckingham Palace RD) found that the night tour was cancelled…got on the normal day tour which was a hop on hop off and had an amazing 2 hour ride! Well worth the ride all the main sites were seen in central London plus the narration helps. If you sit on the top with open roof ensure you take a coat or shawl as it can get cold depending on weather. Really enjoyable and fantastic way of getting around London with the bonus of seeing famous sites. Well worth the money and booking online is essential for discount and ticket.

Went to the christmas lights bus tour. It was a nice evening out in London the christmas lights looked lovely and we enjoyed our visit

The best way to explore London. Excellent service. Frequent buses & friendly drivers. You can take 24 hours which you can use over 2 days or buy a bit extra for 48 or 72 hours. Worth to take the river cruise which will give you a very enjoyably river cruise.

Quite slow, can be some wait sometimes then literally two buses come at once and the front will be crowed and the second might not stop.
Sometimes the driver forgets to update where we are so there is just music playing instead of the audio commentary.
Top of the bus was nice will good views. If you want the full tour give your selves 2.5 hours not including stops.
You can get a Wowcher coupon for the same price but two full days

We booked the London Evening Tour but when we arrived to board the top deck was completely full which was disappointing. Then Winston (I hope we caught your name right!) kindly offered to run another bus for us and a few other groups so we could enjoy the tour from the top deck sat all together, even though it was the end of his shift. We can thank our driver enough for making sure we had a great tour and comfortable experience.

I’ve been on big bus tours in a few cities around the world and London was probably the worst to be honest. The traffic just makes it not worth your while. It took us about 45 minutes just to get down a section of Baker Street.
It was still nice in the good weather but the bus drivers never asked to scan our tickets which we purchased online once. We used it over two days and not once were we asked for proof of ticket. Anyone could have jumped on theoretically!
There was no guide speaking on the microphone, and the headphones for the audio guide were useless. The information wasn’t even in sync with the location we were at on the route map.
Take a Thames cruise instead

Well worth it. London is pretty big and we had o my 4 days in town. With the redline you get to see all the main attractions. I recommend to go for the premium ticket so you get the boat ride. The boat ride was the BEST!! The tour guy really funny and knew his history.
The premium also gives you the night ride. Not bad but bring warm clothes if you’re planning on sitting on the top level and come with 15 minutes before departure. It gets pretty busy.
Me and my daughter walked the 1st days and took the tour buses 2 days and the walked the 3rd cause we did not have much time.
Also, you can get on and off at almost any stop.

Loved it. The buses were all on time and the drivers were extremely friendly and helpful. We were able to visit most of the tourist attractions in london. The commentary during the travel on the bus was great and not boring like the other commentaries. Will definitely recommend for first time visitors.

We had Sandy as a tour guide on the red route. Her Australian outlook on life was very refreshing and funny and she had loads of facts and info about the sites. We later swapped busses and got a rather less interesting guide so your enjoyment will depend on how good your guide is. Although you can just listen to the automated audio track in a variety of languages

So we waited on a bus in high traffic area near the parliament and bridge. This was due to Trump visiting for D-Day. Big Steve who works for the company offered to walk us over to another stop where there was no to short wait. That walk from Parliament to the station by Buckingham was the best free guided tour ( Not requested and just his courtesy) ever! He pointed out places where we could take our photos. I told him they would be called " The Money Shot". He even took the photos for us with our phone. He was so funny and likable. A true pro and I encourage if Big Bus ever does guided tour, You must put him in charge. He could run an incredible tour. Thank you, Big Steve and your Boss Dave! Your care and extra work is truly appreciated. I encourage you all to make this your choice. The live guides make a huge difference. We took the same company tour in Paris but with no live tour. It was still enjoyable but nothing like BIg Steve! We got lucky to meet you and Dave!

We had a great time yesterday evening. It was the end of the day shift and beginning of the night shift. We were the last two riders on our bus back from the London Eye. We had the privilege of meeting “Big Steve”. He was “Smashing” and a great tour guide. He went way out of his way to entertain us and tell us all about the sites along our route. Even took some extra time at the end of our trip to recommend some local restaurants and pubs to try afterwards. He made the day.

Absolutely a 5 star Plus. They offer so many variations of what and where want to see, in a guided tour of London. We then got off to explore our-selves. We stopped to have great fish and chips at a local market. Got back on again and stopped to visit the Tower of London for a few hours. Went over the tower Bridge and stopped to have a Pint at a local pub, was Awesome. You just jump on and off whenever you want. This may be the highlight of our English visit.
L. M.
Enjoyable trip around the highlights of central London, an interesting way to get to the Tower of London (tickets sold separately), plus the included boat trip back to Westminster bridge (London Eye) provided good variety of how we saw the city.

Used Big Bus Tours on our one day we spent in London. They provided a live tour guide which was very informative. Buses were clean. We were able to hop on and hop off as we wanted. Would definitely recommend.

Generally a great service, comparable to the City sightseeing Bus service. Drivers are good, the life narrator is also very good - we even had a discussion with one of them concerning work, life and everything else in London. Combined ticket for the City Cruises is a must, as it takes you to Greenwich on the The Thames. The Hop-on Hop-off service did us a great job, as we used it in a couple of rainy days.

With only a day to see London this was the best way to do it. We chose the deluxe package so we could do the hop on / hop off open air bus tour and do the river cruise. We expenses both the guided tour and the recorded tour - red and blue busses. The guided English tour was great. It is such a relaxing way to see the city. I would recommend for anyone new to the city or even those who have been before. My favorite part was the river cruise.

We got on the bus at around 9:30 or 10am on the 31st of July 2019. We got on near Paddington Station on the Blue line. We wanted to go back to paddington station in a couple hours to go to Windsor after riding this tour so we assumed we could ride the blue line around and return on the same bus with no problem.
That turned out to be completely wrong. We first had to wait through 2 buses going by which was about 45 min to get on that bus but then we were packed so tightly into the bus that there wasn't barely room to breathe let alone get a seat and hear any of the tour information through the headsets provided because there were no available jacks. Then after 2 stops on the blue line the bus stopped and everyone was told to clear the bus. That it wasn't going any further and that a block away we could get on the next bus.
At that point we approached a couple employees working the stops and they pretty much pushed us to get on the Red Line even though we had no plans to ride that bus at that time as we had already visited most of the sites on that tour the day before. We eventually got on that bus and surprisingly found comfortable seats up top with a good view. The best part of the whole experience was the live commentary from the guide on the Red Line bus who's name is Rob. He provided a very entertaining experience throughout the ride until the time came for us to get off and find our own way back to Paddington Station.
Honestly I was going to leave them a horrible review if it wasn't for the good experience we had on the bus with Rob. Otherwise the stop workers are jerks. The bus driver and stop worker on the blue line was stupid to pack so many people in that bus because it honestly would have been more enjoyable at that point to just ride the city bus because it was cheaper and at least on the city bus I had a seat more often than not.
All in all I give Rob ☆☆☆☆☆ but the company as a whole -☆....

Good way to see lots of London landmarks in a couple of hours. Really enjoyed seeing the city from higher up including looking down into the lovely Lambeth Palace garden, driving across Tower Bridge, Parliament Square, and being in the fresh air the whole time. The staff were really helpful at every point. Hopped on and off twice. Route slight change for some reason but no problem at all getting Thames boat included in ticket (CityTours).
G. M.
We had a great tour through the city of London. For someone who has never been to London and has a 1 day layover this is perfect. It allows you to see the major sites in London..

Big Bus Tours is a must to see LONDON from tourist eye . Buses come every 10 to 20minutes . Book evening tour with them and make sure to follow instructions where to get picked up and picked off for evening tour .
Buy tickets for other events through them also one stop shop and same prices .
K. G.
Lovely sitting at the top of an open top bus Lovely views of London

“Excellent tour”
This was a really good experience for us, the service that is offered by the staff at each stop is impeccable, these guys are very professional and extremely helpful, not only will they help but they are so polite and friendly. We got advice to go to some sight seeing places and were not disappointed. If your in town for a short while like we were this is a must and the Red Bus Tour with the additional commentary was excellent.

The Big Bus provides hop-on / hop-off for 1, 2 or 3 days with routes covering the City of London. There are about 40 stops across the 4 routes. Such Tours are the best way to see London in a short time.
With 3 types of tickets, the Premium (2 days) and Deluxe (3 days) provides a River Cruise and Night Tour.
You can purchase online (with a 10% discount) or do a deal with the Tour staff at the Big Bus stops to get the same or better deal than online.
Big Bus Tours also has a mobile app to purchase tickets, check the various routes/timetables and access deals for London attractions.
A 1 day pass lasts for 24 hours; eg: if you board/validate your ticket at 10am, it remains valid till 10am the next day...same applies for 2 & 3 day tickets.
During the ride there is usually a live guide or recorded commentary, with headphones provided. There's also free wifi.
Be aware the steps up/down to the upper deck are quite steep so take care, especially when going back down to the lower level.

As a Traveler in London , I found big bus a good option to explore this beautiful city & its historical culture . hip on & hop off is a good way to check your choice of places .Guided tours with the option of language is a add on . Was lucky to get a good weather & got a seat on upper deck . made the whole experience worth remembering .

Awesome riding around London seeing the sights. Biggest surprise was river cruise...guys on boat amazingly funny and knowledgeable

We had a wonderful experience despite Corona (about a month ago). The crew was a lot of fun, very generous and extremely helpful! We bought a ticket online, and had no issues using it at the bus. The bus drivers were literally helping us making the best of our time in London. Several tickets include a boat ride. It's nothing special, but it's a nice touch to see the city from a different angle, plus you'll get to see plenty of other busy spots alongside the Thames that you can visit afterwards. Again, great experience, highly recommend, but maybe we just got lucky. Best of luck
C. B.
All great apart from one very grumpy driver who was obviously in a rush to end his shift as he didn't stop at the last 3 stops which meant we had a very long walk back to where we wanted to get off 😠
A. A.
Drivers friendly and helpful and a great live tour guide made the red line bus tour very interesting as he (Nick) was so knowledgeable. Buses are frequent and even on time which is some feat in London, given the congestion and road works going on. The included night tour is a wonderful option as London looks quite different when lit up. It is cold if you're on the open deck though so even in nice weather, take a jacket. The included cruise also gives great, different views of the city. Definitely the most cost effective way to see the sights of London. Awesome value!

We decided to get the big bus tour tickets for London since we got the Paris Pass for our leg in Paris that also included 3 days of the big bus tour in the their package.
We found that the London big bus was well organized and covers lots of ground. It was pretty easy to understand the map and use the app. We really liked that we could use the boat to cross the river as an option which allowed for a nice change of scenery. The worker on the pier was very helpful. The worker at Buckingham Palace not so much. We noticed alot of the earphone jacks on the chairs often didnt work so if you like to listen to the historical parts you might not find a spot available. We really wanted to enjoy that part so we were disappointed. We waited for busses about 20 mins each time.
In comparison to the big bus tour in Paris, we completely utilized every aspect of the busses and tour routes. None of the earphone jacks had issues and the busses came super frequently. No more than a 7 min wait throughout our 3 days in paris.
I would use big bus again in Paris, but I don't think in London. The London underground is just super easy to use and conveniently located in all areas throughout London. The only benefit of big bus would be the historical information but if the ear phone jacks don't work......
W. T.
Bus was convenient. They provide headsets to listen to pre-recorded information, which worked well most of the time. The Red line also has live hosts providing most of the same info but with a little more personality and humor. I really wanted to listen to the live guides, but every bus I was on had terrible audio quality from the microphone. It was completely overridden by ear-splitting squeals and electrical noise tied to the buses speed. You could certainly tell who was trying to listen to the live channel, as they would all start yanking the earphones out of their ears when the painful noise started. Seems they'd have this worked out, but it was a continuous issue both days and all buses. Kind of a waste to have a live guide and everyone listening to the prerecorded channel.
The one way boat trip was really nice, and the tower bridge tour bundled in my package was surprisingly interesting. The London tower takes several hours so don't buy a packed with too many extra sights to see - you'll run out of time!
J. Y.
We had a great time on the tour! We did two trips: one with recorded audio (it was good), and another with a live guide (it was even better). Fred was amazing! (Big Bus Tours, give him a raise). Sometimes the wait was a bit long but they’re at the mercy of traffic. I’d highly recommend this company.
M. T.
Do not buy your London Eye tix from Big Bus! The fast pass is not recognized by The Eye and you have to wait in line about 45 minutes just to trade in your Big Bus Ticket for the Eye ticket and they give you a time to come back about an hour later.
We also couldn't get a bus on Saturday because they were all too full. We ended up using the bus only for 1 day instead of the 3 we bought because it was too difficult to find a bus or wait and we ended up using a taxi or walking. So I would only recommend it for 1 day and don't get on and off because you'll have difficulty getting back on.

On our first full day in London we arose early to catch a ride on the Hop-on, Hop-off Big Bus Tours. We had purchased The London Pass, which includes a 24 period on a Hop-On, Hop-Off bus tour. The Bus took us past beautiful sites including St. Paul's Cathedral, Tower Bridge, Tower of London, the London Eye, Big Ben, the House of Parliament, Harrods, and Kensington Palace. We rode most of the Red line and some of the Blue line. Its a relaxing beautiful way to see the city! We had the pleasure of having three different tour guides. All three were pretty good, one gentleman with gray hair was an absolute joy to listen to! He was very informative. Sometimes they play the tour guide audio over a loud speaker and one time they played it over a headphone system, they offer you disposable headphone, but luckily we had brought our own headphones, which provided better listening quality. It was one of our favorite things we did with the London Pass and a great way to see lots of the city!
Y. Y. F.
Big Steve was our tour guide and was a great guy with excellent range of obscure London fact. Extra points for bad puns!!
E. G.
Two of the four guides we we were with during our live-guided (red tour) hop-on hop-off experience were not only knowledgeable but also witty and hilarious. The third guide was very informative but didn't add the touch of humor that was so impressive with the first two. The fourth guide did share good information but she had a strong accent that made her a bit hard to understand, and she lacked enthusiasm. The commentary on our four bus rides was nearly continuous.
We also did the City Cruises boat ride from the Tower of London to the Westminster stop. That guide was also informative and witty.
The Big Bus Tour is an excellent way to not only learn about London but also to get convenient transportation to several sites of interest. Just make sure you are aware of the "last run of the day" times. We were somewhat surprised that the buses appeared to stop running at 16:30 (winter season) rather than having their "last departure time" at 16:30. Luckily we were already on the bus during the last run (twice) so it worked out OK but if we had been looking for a ride half an hour later in the day we would have been out of luck. All in all I would definitely do the Big Bus Tour in any of the cities where it's offered.
H. C.
We found that the Big Bus tours in London were an excellent way to get an overview of the City, learn about the buildings and history, and add to the places we wanted to see. We were in London in mid-October and we never had any problem with long lines, getting on a bus, or getting a seat on the upper deck. Buses came frequently and were remarkably good at being on schedule.
The Big Bus employees were all extremely friendly, patient, and helpful, going out of their way to make sure we had a good experience and offering help when we looked confused or undecided, even without our asking.
The live tour guides were very knowledgeable and entertaining. We found that even riding on the bus through the same parts of the city multiple times could be worthwhile because each guide provided a different twist in describing what we were seeing. With one exception, the sound system on the bus was good and we could hear and understand the guides. The pre-recorded guide on the Blue Line was well done and interesting. Free headsets were provided although we decided to use our own.
We did have some trouble finding the stops at times. The location of the stop did not always correspond with the information given in the Big Bus App on our cell phone and could be several hundred yards away from the indicated location.
The Big Bus tour is not the most efficient way to get to a particular destination and you can’t regard it as a substitute for the Tube or the city buses for that purpose. But that is not what Big Bus is trying to be. As a way to effortlessly ride through the City while learning about the sites, it is excellent.
E. D.
Great trip all around London. Although very slow due to traffic but you can’t help that. Gives you a good idea of where everything is. The Thames River Boat trip was a great bonus, we really enjoyed cruising down the Thames. More information on road diversions would be appreciated. Got caught out yet again and had to dive off the bus and get the subway to our destination when the bus took a turn which was not on the map.
M. A.
Good for kids to enjoy it once. The way to enjoy is sit on the upper level. Try on a rain free day.
M. D.
I reckon its the best bus tour...
London has a bewildering number of excellent attractions so a "hop on/off" tour offers great explanations, and the flexibility to stay as long as one wants. What makes this tour" best"/most traveler friendly is the "package which also allows cancellation (up to 24 hours in advance), one can redeem a voucher at any stop, and, it also includes a river tour and a walking tour (which I truly enjoyed! It stops at most places of interest to travelers-- but it is best to book a 2 or 3 day tour if you want to see london during the day and at night-- on land and water and walking too. The "value added" will become obvious when recalling the many "Joys of London"!
I hope that this Review has been helpful.

Excellent service. Very good drivers. And do not forget the guides. Me and my family have a great experience with the Big Bus Tour in London. We enjoyed every minute. Recommended. It's a great way to know London. Thank you very much for everything.
S. R.
What a wonderful way to get around the city! We got off the train and headed outside and they were right there. They were happy to answer any of our questions. We brought a three day pass to use their tour buses located all around London city. We also brought discounted tickets through them to go into the Tower of London.
The tour buses were clean and tidy. Most of the drivers were friendly and helpful. We asked one of the drivers if he was the “blue route” and he got confused and told us to wait for the next bus which ended up being the wrong bus and turns out we should have got onto the bus before with ththe confused bus driver. Oh well.
The actual tour guides were all friendly and knowledgeable. Happy to answer questions.
Definitely the best way to see London when you don’t have much time.

We did the Big Bus Tour the first day we arrived in London, and it was a great way to get oriented to the city and see many sights. Throughout the day we rode both the red (live English narration) and blue (recorded audio in many languages) routes and actually enjoyed the blue one more. The only bummer was that there was bad afternoon traffic and we weren't making much progress. Our bus just stopped at 6 pm and forced everyone off, although we were hoping to ride a few stops further. We were able to take the Tube to our final destination, but I wish we had been given more warning about the ending time.
A. S.
Had taken the Big bus classic ticket for 1 day along with my family. First we picked up the red line bus from London Eye. Noticed that these buses were more frequent than competitors. The live commentary was fantastic! I the afternoon we picked up the blue line bus for palace, etc. We did not get place on top and since we had waited around 10 minutes at the westminster pier, did not wait for the next. The lower deck is just OK. Also did not get to sit atop the cruise, made do with the lower deck.

Great way to see London! It was cold the week we were there and the heat on the bus could have been better. On nice days the view from the top of the bus is amazing. The blue tour gives you the best of London if you only have time for one tour. Interesting commentary with headphones and live on the red tour. Good overview of the City. Boat ride on the Thames was excellent!
V. S.
We have taken hop on hop off busses in many cities of the world, but the commentary on this one was the best! I paid for the tickets for me, my daughter and three grandchildren, in advance and everything went smoothly. We got on at St Paul's Cathedral quite early and were able to sit up front on the upper level, which was great for the kids, who enjoyed the tour as much as we did.
L. B.
Loved the London Big Bus tour! There is no better way to get a feel for the city! Taking the tour on our first day in London helped to set us up for a great stay in the city. London is a beautiful city! I recommend getting the upgraded ticket with the river tour as well.

Mixed feelings about this tour company. The man we had on our first day tour (I think his name was Christoph) was completely dreadful he was so bored he even yawned whilst he was talking and the information he gave was scanty with huge silences and delivered in such a fast and monotone voice it was hard to fully grasp what he was saying.
The next day we had a man and later on a woman tour guide that was brilliant. Masses of information given in a dynamic funny way easy to understand too.
So clearly it depends who you get.
The buses also stop quite running quite early around 6pm so we were stranded both days and ended up using the underground. But the buses are regular and smooth.
C. F.
The Big Bus Tour company was a great way to see the main attractions of London. The buses were very frequent so it meant you were not waiting for a long time at each area you got off. I would definitely recommend doing this bus tour.
R. S.
There are 3 main bus tours in London and BB seems to have the fewest buses and longest wait times. It's also important to understand how long it takes to get from place to place in London. For the cost, we didn't feel like we got full value. Great live commentary, however.
A. R. A.
My wife and I eventually enjoyed the tour and the service by Big Bus Tours was convenient. London is indeed amazing. We felt however that when we purchased the tickets on line the options of locations to start the tour could have been clearly listed.
Our host dropped us off at a stop where one of the buses was parked but when we got to the bus there was no attendant or driver. We then had to locate another stop and being new to London that was an initial challenge.
We observed while we were trying to figure out what to do that another group having arrived at our location by train was encountering the same problem.
R. S.
We were in London when they had their heatwave so decided to do a Big Bus Tour to save us the walking. The Big Bus staff were all approachable and knowledgable always ready to assist us in our sightseeing. The drivers on all the buses we were on were all excellent and we didn't have any issues there. The routes that they take you on are easy to navigate and really make the most of sightseeing in such a limited amount of time. The commentary was interesting and good quality and volume. Only thing that could've made it better was air con in the bus!! A great service.
U. N.
Loved the experience. Great way of covering London on your first visit. Missed our Thames cruise as we reached the pier after the service shut down. So please ensure the traveller is informed in advance of the timings. Thanks for the ride. Will recommend to all our friends.

We took our tour of London during the Common Wealth meeting and several roads were blocked off. This led to horrible traffic.
We took the blue line that has prerecorded information about the city and there were large gaps between any information being delivered. We hopped off near Buckingham Palace for lunch and after lunch came back to hop back on. Both the red and blue lines meet there and since we were dissatisfied with the blue line, we thought we'd enjoy the live tour of the red line.
Buses are supposed to arrive every 15-20 minutes. We waited half an hour for a bus. Nothing came. Not even a blue. So we took a walk closer to the start of the line and waited there. For an hour. We saw tour buses from every other line stop there several times before a bus finally came. It was a blue. Since we had been waiting for so long, we decided that it was better to take the blue than to wait for a red. It was a mistake -- we should have either taken the tube back to our start or waited for the red. The tour audio was not enjoyable.
Some of the issues were due to the Common Wealth meeting mangling traffic, but I recommend avoiding the lines with prerecorded audio.

Big Bus tour London is my second experience with the Big Bus company. I actually think the London options are quite good because they have a route option with a live tour guide that runs almost all day. We purchased the 48 hour pass which includes a round trip boat tour out to Greenwich which we thoroughly enjoyed, and includes 3 different walking tours-- one for the Buckingham Palace changing of the guards, a Harry Potter tour, and a Rock and Roll of London tour. We partook in the Harry Potter tour with our tour guide Kevin and it was most enjoyable! My husband and I ended up being the only people on the tour, so Kevin really went above and beyond to customize the tour for us. We had a great experience!
J. C.
We chose to go on the Big Bus Tour of London as it seemed to cover as many attractions as we wanted with the added bonus of the Thames River Cruise. When booking you have the option of receiving an E ticket which we picked and used it all day to get on the bus we showed the driver the e ticket on my phone and there was no issue until we went to the Thames river cruise we queued and when we got to the ticket office were told we needed it on paper I said we had been using the e ticket all day however she said we would have to walk to an Internet cafe and get it printed off. As we did not know where the closest Internet cafe was we had to leave it and were flying home the next day early so never got the cruise. Very disappointed as it was highlighted as an attraction on the website.

Would never dream of using any other way of seeing London. Good timetable with lots of different ways to see our glorious capital. Well worth getting the red route especially if Lewis is the guide, excellent knowledge with good humour thrown in what more could you ask for. We've been using Big Bus tours for almost 10 years and the experience we just had was the same as always second to none. Thank you again Big Bus for a truly great weekend

We bought tickets ahead of time online and it was extremely difficult to find a place that would redeem our tickets. And when we talked to vendors they always pointed us in the wrong direction of where to go for things (pick up points and ticket redemption). There's an app for the phone but me and my husband were both unable to download it and didn't even know it exhisted until our last day of our 3-day ticket. The night tour was kinda lame in that it wasn't guided by a live tour guide, it was just an audio guide you hooked into on the bus. It kept glitching and replaying portions over again, and skipping other positions. This is why I am giving 3 stars and not a full 5.
When we finally got tickets and toured around during the day, the live tour guides were extremely knowledgeable, answered all questions enthusiastically, and even gave heads up for excellent photo opportunities! I loved it. Even though we had difficulty we probably will end up doing big bus again the next time we visit London, now that we know where to go and what to do.
***Fyi- you can get tickets redeem at a spot close to Big Ben, along the riverside. There is a bus rank right where the boats line up. That's where we redeemed***

A good way to get an overview of London and great historical info thru the commentary. Unfortunately they try to jam too many people into the buses at a time so I’m the end viewing of these iconic London sights is hampered. If you’re doing this tour, get a seat on the top deck to avoid this.

A must do for first time London

Friendly and Helpful staff, had 24h Tickets and was definitely worth it especially if you want to see as much of London as possible in a short period of time. Our Tour Guide had a great sense of humour and very interesting facts and knowledge about London.
S. M.
Really enjoyed seeing London this way. There are lots of stops to hop on and off. The red line has a live guide, ours was hilarious. The blue line had a recorded guide which wasn’t as impressive. And the green line was described as a shuttle line by one of its drivers. The map was confusing and the app wasn’t much help. But the buses were clean and most major London landmarks seem to have been covered. Includes a ride on a river cruise.
S. L.
A great way to see so many highlights of London in one day with the flexibility to hop on and off at leisure- so convenient. The tour guides were great and had some really interesting facts to share! I did this on my first day in London and it was a great way to orient myself and acclimatise to a new city.
A. L.
We absolutely loved seeing London on your buses! The narrators were excellent (we really enjoyed Karen), and had a great time. We purchased a three day pass and it was worth every penny!!!
A. S.
We had a good time most of the day, and experienced the hop on hop off well. Saw most of London and the highlight was seeing Prince Harry wave back at our bus.
The ending was a bit bittersweet though as the bus was terminated at Marble Arch and all of us asked to disembark - even though we had been told it will finish the circuit.
M. K.
Got tickets for the Big Bus Tour for my partner's birthhday and he loved being a tourist in London for a day.
We spent the whole day travelling around the sites we've seen many times but actualy not knowing a great deal about them therefore we found the commentary very informative.
We would recommend doing the tour and taking advantage of the boat ride included in the price. It was a great day out.
K. H.
This was a wonderful tour. Not only did we get a chance to see London, we were able to stop off if we wanted. We had an amazing tour guide, Nick. He made this a fun trip even for a 14 year old. His information and entertainment brightened everyone’s day. I would definitely do this tour again.
M. A.
We had a great experience! But depending on the time of day, the service could be less stellar. try to start your tour around 9ish 10ish. Have fun.
B. L.
While the routes were well planned and the guides were informative and entertaining , there were several inherent problems that made these tours a little chaotic. For instance, our tickets included passage on the boat but when we arrived at the boat around 4:30 we discovered that the person who gives us the boat tickets from Big Bus Tours left at 4pm. The only reason we were able to get on the boat was because I begged the person who takes the tickets at the dock. Also the app is not well designed and led to a lot of unnecessary running around (and I live here, I was only doing the tour to show my parents around who can’t walk much). Whenever we ran into confusion, it was frustrating that there seemed to be no number to call to ask a human being to clarify/help. Felt a bit shady.
R. C.
The tour itself was excellent. The audio described all that we were seeing and was very informative.
The only negative was end of day procedures. The pickup was not timely. We knew the pickup time and had to wait 45 minutes past that time. We were tracking the buses and there ended up being three in a row. Then the bus we got on told us we had to get off at a certain location which was not where we intended. The tour ended and we had to get off before the location we started at.
c. T.
We had a great experience taking the London Big Bus tour bus. The bus driver and street agent were very helpful when giving directions and best ways to utilize their services. I would definitely use their services again.
C. L.
We opted for a single-day family ticket. In order to maximize what we saw on our tour, we rode the bus from the Paddington area to the Tower of London. After touring the Tower site we utilized the River Thames cruise. Unfortunately, the Thames being tidal, prevented the cruise from proceeding beyond Parliament. Not to worry, there was a Big Bus waiting to offload passengers who chose not to wait out the tide.
I read some reviews by others saying that you'd be better to use the Underground. I disagree in part and think the Big Bus tour is great for providing a feel for layout of the city and the audio commentary gives a nice historical overview. Although I wish that we had the opportunity to ride one of the buses with a tour guide.
C. P. R.
What a wonderful experience.
First time on Big bus for us and we absolutely loved it. Where do they manage to get such guides. Ours was called Steve and he was just larger than life. And I mean Big. Had us English speakers in fits and seemed to be translating bits of history into Dutch for one party and I think it was Turkish for another.
Well done Big Bus. What a fantastic idea.
The very best way to see London.
K. S.
Travelled on the London Night Tour, it was very enjoyable however the diversion routes do not seem thoroughly thought out.
We were staying in Stratford so had planned to get off at Westminster Bridge to get the Jubilee Line tube home... but it flew past Westminster with no announcement or anything that it would not be stopping! Hey-ho, that's just London traffic
Other than this, it is fair to say a very good route and a great way to see London! Must do a day tour one day soon. Highly recommended.
D. L. C.
Great tour with good information. Disappointed that the buses did not run frequently during the end of August - waited 1 hour + three times during my 3 day ticket. Would have been highly disappointing if i didn't have a multi day ticket. Bus stops list times every 15 minutes but that was not the case.
D. C.
I am glad we hopped on at the first stop with only two other people boarding on a Saturday, we were able to have the front window seats up top. The tour bus quickly filled by the 8th stop..The guide with his speaker mic was rather annoying, but the views quickly overshadowed anything he had to say..Thank you Expedia for the $30 off $40 activities promo codes in December.
A. L. C.
Bus tour was fine if you wanted to stay on the bus for the entire tour. However if you wanted to hop on / hop off, the stops didn't match the map particularly on the blue bus route. Two of the drivers confirmed that the stops were renumbered and that the maps were out of date regarding the stops. Made it difficult to plan when and where to get off.
K. D.
We enjoyed the 'lift' around London and found the live guide to be informative, but there were some challenges. One trip, the bus driver stopped and disappeared for a 15 minute unexplained 'break' which we never did understand, but ate up some valuable time getting to the British Museum. Another day the bus suddenly made a 'last' stop and changed over to another colored route. A lady boarded the bus and told us we had to get off. Everyone was panicked as to how to get back to trains and hotels. They told us to quick run to another bus which took us on a round about route to Picadilly. Several times at the end of the day (after 5pm), the bus driver acted like he didn't want to take us (or any of the other passengers) on. They would ask where we were headed and even though the bus said red or blue, they weren't going to stop 2. We paid for the bus, but in the end decided not to use it the last two days we were in London.
r. o.
This was an excellent tour bus. There are any locations that you can jump on or off. However as we went during winter this meant that it was freezing cold. The company understanding this gave us two days for the price of one. With the tour you received a pair of earphones which attached to the bus so you can learn about London at the time that you are driving through it.
L. L.
My favorite tours were the live tours on the red line (I think). There were great stories and great conversation with the guide. The other lines offer free earphones and both music and commentary. Commentary on those lines is offered in several languages. We used the tour for two days in order to hop-on-hop-off and see the sites around town. It gets really crowded at some of the areas like St. Paul's or at the Thames boat tour areas, Buckingham Palace and the like so we walked a bit to catch the tour up or down stream. Have a good time. If you can pick exact dates you want to tour, check online. The prices are deeply discounted if you can pinpoint your dates. Use the coupon booklet for discounts around town.
L. M.
Very good tour of London. Helpful staff at many of the bus stops who were very knowledgable and always answered our queries politely and without hesitation. During the afternoon we had live commentary with 'Faye' who was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful and delivered interesting information throughout the journey. Would highly recommended using this company
S. T.
- Great when you got an enthusiastic guide.
- Guys near stops were very helpful but not at all stops.
- Was quite frustrating that not all buses had Wi-Fi working as advertised, especially when in a foreign country and relying on Wi-Fi to navigate.
- Disappointing we had a bus driver stop and go to Hungry Jacks and was rude when asking for help.
F. R.
A must do if you visit London for the first time. Friendly! helpful staff and the tour guides are a huge well of information. We enjoyed every moment on the bus. No long waits between hop on and off.
S. B.
Selected this company because it was one of the tours that was included woth the London Pass. Their app is not very good and was not useful in finding the stops, and the stops are not marked well. We spent 45 min looking for the stop by the London Eye. The staff were OK. Some friendly, some not so much. Some knowledgeable, others not.
K. B.
The Marathon was taking place when we took the Big Bus, so there were some road closures and travel restrictions involved. However, we got to the venues we planned to see, with some very helpful and improvising drivers. Thank you for the tour.
y. N.
Surely it was very impressive experiences when I looked around London city. Compared to other global metropolitan, London has extremely skyrocketed public transportation fare. But thanks to the BIG BUS TOUR I have been well positioned tour all around London's tourist attractions. By the way, I would like you to serve more user-friendly information service in the near future. Frankly speaking, I have undergone to find out your bus destination near my hotel.
J. E.
Had a good time riding around the city and learning about the history. Comes with a boat ride, but there were not instructions on how to use it. I was hoping to catch a ride back on it, but apparently you need to get a separate ticket, and there are only certain locations you can get said ticket (they cannot do it on the bus). I was left stranded at the boat station with no way to get a ticket. This was a massive inconvenience.
J. P.
The guide on our first “Red” tour was interesting, informed, and very personable. However, after purchasing these tickets online and receiving a digital ticket, we went to a bus stop and showed our tickets and were put on the bus without issues. At our next stop we are asked for our tickets again, we showed them and were given a receipt.
Since these were two day tickets, we tried jumping on a bus the next day, but we were denied because we needed to show the receipts from day one. No one even mentioned that those little pieces of paper were necessary in addition to the digigtal pass. All in all, this was a waste of money for the brief tour we experienced. I would NOT recommend to others.
However, if you can find Matt, maybe you can convince him to give you a personal tour, because his narration of the city would definitely be worth what you end up paying Big Bus.
I. J.
Delightful. Enjoyed the live commentary. Each guide had a unique sense of style and I enjoyed their off the script comments. Great way to see London when you are short on time. We thought we would only jump on for a few stops but stayed on the entire Red loop.
S. D.
I bought the tour despite the high price because I wanted to see as much as possible during a 1-day layover in London. Started out well enough, but then after the river cruise I was unable to find the next bus stop and there was no one from Big Bus around to ask. Got caught in the rain which had me coughing for the next week. Later we were kicked off a bus at Marble Arch at around 4pm in the afternoon and told to catch another one at the stop 100m away. The group waiting for Big Bus buses kept getting larger and larger while buses from other companies constantly came by to pick up passengers. We kept getting sent back and forth the 100m distance for over 90 minutes and being told "the next bus will be here in 10-15 minutes". The "next bus" never showed, and I was forced to miss the last few things on my list as my limited time was wasted by Big Bus employees who really had no idea if the next bus was coming or not.
n. s.
Frequency of bus was low upto half an hour
No clear instructions about the tour. Red bus is still ok. No clear information that where the blue bus will start and what sequence it will follow. No tour guide even knows it they only misguided me. I lost whole day trying to find out the route. Having two days trip I still had no time to find out where green bus goes.
A. M.
Great experience! Gives you an end to end tour of the entire city
N. S.
Good way to see the sights with limited time. Loved the English tour guide on our route (think his name was Matt). He was amusing and had good stories to tell. Liked that there were people at each stop to help. Confusion about when the last bus was. Got told there was no more buses but then there was one.
a. r.
It's a nice way to get a feel of the city and a quick glimpse of the attractions.
We did hop on hop off on first day of our tour. This helped us see the attractions from a distance and shortlist the places which we wanted to explore in detail.
We took a blue line initially which was boring. We switched to the red line then, which had a live guide who was hilarious. I guess her name was Karen or Carol. We loved our hop on hop off.
J. J.
It was hard hearing and understanding the live commentator. I do believe that it's a must to have closed double-decker buses during winter time and the river cruise could have been better if the top of the boat was closed, it was hard to see anything in the bus and the boat if you didn't want to be cold.
M. L.
Excellent way of seeing the city and learning quirky little facts about the place. Our tour guide on the first day was a fella called Matt - he was brilliant!
Only bad thing was that its not clear where the tour actually goes from on the website. Took us a while to find the correct bus stop in Trafalgar Square
D. S. (.
I chose this company but found that their standard has fallen off crest since reviews were posted. Their staff on the ground is still absolutely Fantastic but the lady doing commentary was not upto the job - their was a lot of trafficking en route that kept here quiet for 80% time of travel. I guess she knows bare minimum about the attractions hence can't fill in with extra when traffic slows it down. However the biggest disappointment came from confusing routes on map - only three out five were functional so we wasted go Proportion of 24% either waitIng or duplicating same route in desperation. Can't recommend this company any more
O. E.
well my experiences on the big bus tour was confortable until the bus hit a car on its right, it was very jolting and scary. Do to this altercation we got off of the bus. The person leading the tour was very personable and knew his facts. The bus does Not allow you to take great pictures due to the constant moving. It cost us 30 pounds for a 24 hour period. oh and we also have a pass for a river ride !!! It would of really been worth it is ti were only 15 pounds.
C. Y.
Best way to get around and see the sights plus hop on and off where you want to explore etc! We have used them 2 years running now
The guides are great and informative as well as helpful
The drivers are good in the main, but some could do with a chill out pill when it gets busy etc
This stay was a hot one especially as no room on top decks so no choice but to sit downstairs so maybe some fans installed or something would help
L. F.
There are not many Hop On/Off Red Buses. Settled for the Blue and had to jump off and get a taxi to where we wanted to go since too much time wasted on the blue bus and we didn't want to get stuck since it was around 5 p.m. Not once did we see a red bus to hop onto. Very disappointed and not worth the money we paid for a family of 4.
A. P.
Purchased my ticket online and we arrived on the 19/2, the guide who helped me first at green park was mika i think ,lovely fella helped me plan our route along with the guide on board although i can't remember his name .. it was fab to learn it was valid for 24 hours .. so again we boarded today the 20/02 . The onboard guide was kathy who was lovely and patient with all her guests and the info given was delivered perfectly . My son and i loved our big bus tours and i definatley found it to be value for money with the river cruise thrown in . Big thanks to the above staff i named thanks for making our trip memorable it was a great way to see the capital xx
R. J.
Wonderful way to see major sights in London. Try to get on the red line or the one that has a live person doing the talking. Then it is possible to ask questions too. I was in a wheelchair and the accommodations were fantastic! Only did wish they had a way to lock in my chair a bit more securely with a belt of some sort to prevent it from sliding!
K. S.
Good sightseeing routes and audio commentary. Very nice boat ride incuded in orice. However on afteroons a little chaotic shedule at the end of the blue route. We have tried twice and never completed the Kensingtonpart. After 40 min.(16:30-17:10) waiting in the bus at Marble Arch we were informed that there is no time to finish blue route between Marble Arch and South Kensington. The situation repeated next afternoon.
J. B.
We used the Big Bus Tours earlier this month as we were visiting London with my elderly Mum and our slow-walkong toddler. We have used other sightseeing bus companies in the past and this one wasn't as good as they were. We found it difficult f
To find the signs at bus stops indicating whether or not this company stopped there. We also noticed that the busses weren't displaying which colour route they were. This resulted in us spending 1.5 hours on a blue route when we wanted to be on a red route. The routes also overlapped too much. We wanted to do all our sightseeing on the bus, but ended up seeing the same sights repeatedly due to the overlaps. It did the job of getting us around, but next time we would use a different company.
H. a. H. H.
Commentary was a bit repetitious, love Greensleaves but some other tunes would be good too. 3 day pass was really good value and we very much enjoyed the river cruise and going to Greenwich. Will definitely choose this option again next time!
S. M.
Fabulous Bug Bus Tour around London. Excellent hop on hop off. Especially Blue ruote Liberty Hamleys. Harrods... we had an amazing dry day too. Commentator was brillant - 😊 ages 8 to 65. Loved it and it was very informative about attractions and history..We will do a different colour next time. Best day tour
S. L.
Not a travel review but an employee one.
Our car got stuck on a curb outside the big bus service depot in Wandsworth. The curb ripped the front of our car bumper off and this chap from Big Bus Company came over and helped salvage it!
Super helpful, went out of his way for no reason. Very decent thing to do so thank you.
C. K.
Good way to see a lot in one day if you don't get off the bus which is the whole point of the hop on hop off feature. I only had one free day on business went along and got off and did the river cruise which was nice but when I got off at the Harrod's stop , waited for 45 minutes with several others and the bus never came back in that time.
I had to take a normal city bus as I was going to be late for a business dinner other wise. Not sure it's worth the money spent on it.
J. M.
The day we traveled the bus times were behind by 45 minutes. We rushed out of the hotel and waited in the cold at the stop for nothing. I felt like we missed out on part of our vacation. The name of the stops and on the bus and on the map provided by Big Bus were different. This caused some confusion. It would be helpful if the name of the stop was listed at the bus stop and it matched the names on the map provided.
K. P.
Great i loved it, hop on and hop off is a great idea-tour commentary is great. The route goes through the major points, but one thing that was annoying was the tour only being one way as if you wanted to go somewhere like 10 min drive and opted to take the bus it could mean an additional 2 hours. However this stops confusion and makes it simple for people to understand.
Y. B.
We enjoyed the trip into London ! Winter holidays 2012, we spent 4 days in London.
We were greatly impressed by Big bus tour organization allowing us to hip on/off from 50 main bus stops on the lines in order to deeply discover London by foot :)
C. B.
Dinosaur Joe was our tour guide on the Red Line on 10-26-19.
He did an excellent job. He was not only very informative but he was entertaining! Hats off for a job well done!
A. S. (. S.
We thought the routes/bus stops were complicated compared to other Big Bus Tours we've had in other countries. Waiting times between buses were long and the audio didn't work properly on some buses.
C. O.
There were two competitors trying to vie for our ticket sales and we mistakingly went with the Big Bus Tour. If they had mentioned the Original Bus Tour had live commentary we would have gone with them but from our stand point at the time there did not seem to be much of a difference. The hop on and off feature is worth the expense. However the recorded commentary was a bit disappointing.
M. P.
If you need this kind of bus is because you want to visit a new city (that mean you don't know the city), and if you have questions about the places, do ALL the questions before buy the tickets, because after you paid, the employees in each stations the only thing that they want is: SELL tickets, and don't want to waste time answering questions to persons that not going to buy from them. Also, while I was waiting my Big Bus, always arrives several of the competition before the Big Bus; consider the official = they have more buses.
D. M.
Good tour of London. Better than City Bus.
B. S.
Despite really awful weather, we found the Big Bus Tours excellent. It took us past all the sights we wanted to see, provided excellent commentary and ponchos for the rain. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city.
E. F.
A friend of mine had been working there for a while. The prices were good and if you are in London just for several days or even more, this hop-on, hop-off sightseeing bus tour will be useful and convenient for you, without any doubt. I hope you will enjoy your staying here.
S. D.
Great way to get to know London and its history if you only have a few days there. It's a bit slow as the traffic is full-on but that's to be expected in London. The bus stops can be a bit hard to find at times.
T. B.
Great way to see London whether you are visiting or have lived here for 25 years. You can hop on and hop off at all different points and a ticket is good for 48 hours so you dont have to do the whole tour in one go around. All of the tour guides we had were very knowledgable although with any service there quality varys from bus to bus. Book online for a discount. A ticket also includes a boat ride down the thames which is well worth doing for great views of the city.
I. Z.
first part of our tour we rode along on the red tour with live comments in english. the guide was really sweet in telling us so many harry potter facts, we really enjoyed that.
then we switched to the blue tour to have comments in german as well. was very interesting cause i think we saw some streets of london which we would not have otherwise.
K. D.
The amount of traffic made this.tour a bit painful. We traveled about a mile in an hour and a half. We decided to forfeit the money we spent, almost 42 USD per person and walk around on our own.
I rethought my stars and I thought it unfair to review based upon traffic that was out of their control.
F. w. T. (.
had a great city tour around London... friendly customer service.... with endless chances to hop on, hop off and explore. Glimpse the Queen at Buckingham Palace, set your watch by Big Ben, or take a leisurely spin on the London Eye. The city is your kingdom with Big Bus Tours....
C. C.
Bus trip was great, I took so many beautiful pictures and it was cool looking at the city on top of the bus but please don't take the Thames river cruise, when it stops at each pier there's a 10-30 min wait before it embarks again.
G. G.
One of the best cheap ways to travel around the city and see the famous sites with good audio description in 12 languages. Do not listen those saying that travelling by underground is a better way. 4 stars because not all audio players were working as should.
D. O.
Great option to see London. WiFi was a nice touch, drivers were great. Easy on and off points, and the app was terrific! Highly recommend if you want to see the city at your own pace.
A. A.
I took the tour two days in a row. Definetly worth the £30.00 they charge. It would be really time consuming to do this tour on your own, and besides that the tour guides know a lot of trivia they pass on. After two days on the bus tour I still didn't make it to everywhere. I highly recommend using this company.
D. C.
Good tour, but very difficult to find pickup point in Paddington. It wasn't where the advertised standees were. We had the chase the bus and request it to stop and when we asked what the stop was they weren't clear
V. D.
Three starts because the driver told my mum to get off the bus at Baker Street instead of bringing her back to Tower Hill where she started the tour (blue line). Also there are no foreign language recordings on red and green lines, only blue.
P. B.
We bought the Big Bus/ boat combo ticket. A good deal & value for money. Very informative tour done by on-board staff rather than recording/earphones. Highly recommend.
J. J.
Guides were very knowledgeable. Bit weird having a Kiwi guiding us round London but fun none the less. Definitely 'recommend Big Bus to anyone 😚
A. M.
I thought I knew London very well until I went on this tour.
L. B.
Very comprehensive. Great live tour guides - not only very informative but funny as well! It was nice to go around in an iconic vehicle not to mention the staff were all very helpful and supportive.
L. R.
We, shared an enjoyable tour only wished we had more time to see most of what were offered, but were limited due to the fact we were out of town. nevertheless, would be having further tours when the weather is most conducive..
L. M.
Great
O. D.
Extremely convenient way to explore London. Buses are common, there is a comment, and the front of the second floor is covered, so you can ride in rainy weather.
J. M.
Overall a good experience. Guides were friendly and helpful. Wait at Kensington palace was long (at least 20-25 minutes), this was on the blue line. Other than that it was great.
H. C. M.
Big Bus was great! There were on-time and had many buses running so the wait time was not bad at all. The app is a must as well
C. N.
Loved this tour. The weather was beautiful and we sat under the sun up top. There was quite a bit of sitting in traffic but we didn't mind since the view was excellent.
J. D.
Nice tour while you hop on and off the bus on your own will. They don't give you a detailed comprehensive guide but it's great for a general guide of London.
J. P.
Exceptionally easy to use and if you have a chance find Nick as he's quite a fantastic tour guide. He adds humor as you learn about the many monuments, buildings and British history
D. W.
Took a group of us from across the country on a tour of London after winning the National Police Awards. They gave a fantastic insight into London and the history of the city as well as teaching us cockney rhyming slang.
R. P.
I would not use it as transport, but rather a way to get the lay of the land. Spent an hour one the bus listening to the tour guide give hostory about different parts of londond.
C. M.
Great tour - live commentary was exceptional - shame we was left for an hour at one of the stops and then made to walk 15 minutes to another stop due to a road closing after we was dropped off - we wasted nearly 2 hours of the tour
K. W.
Good introduction but slow as molasses. Bought two day ticket in error as we didn't have the time to waste vs taking a cab once we had gotten the overview on the first day of what we wanted to see more of our second day.
H. M.
Perfect way to introduce my visiting family members to the sights, sounds and history of London!-not to mention the great British humour of Ian, the tour guide on the bus! Thanks!!
A. H.
The live commentary on the red (I think) line was excellent. The dude was very personable and even managed some outstanding customer service when a couple of disgruntled customers joined the tour we were on.
D. C.
Awesome way to see London! The live tour guides were very informative and funny. The best part is getting off and on as you please!
V. A.
Loved the tour and live narration. Wound up on a crowded bus and Chris was the driver. He was so helpful and informative, great guy.
d. s.
Had a really good time. This is good value for money and very convenient. The staff are very informative and we were blessed with a tour guide called James who was brilliant. Would highly recommend.
E. P.
We traveled on all the 4 routes. everything was very good. but then we went on green line and was a disaster. That why I gave U 4 stars instead of 5 .
M. E.
Loved the tour and live narration. Wound up on a crowded bus and Chris was the driver. He was so helpful and informative, great guy.
D. W.
Great routes around london. Easy to hop on and off of the buses a tourist stops. Great value for money with river tour 😁
R. P.
Cruise was great. Highly recommend
Buses take a long time due to traffic. Weekends the traffic is better. The audio is worthwhile
G. H.
Fantastic day out on the bus, staff very helpful would highly recommend
C. Z.
See all the top sites and get a boat tour too!
M. P. O.
Be careful with the situation of some stops (not very well located in the app). Last bus does not end at the last number... Little troubles; but good in general.
J. C.
It was a wonderful experience and convenient way to see most of the tourist attractions and experience the river cruise thru Big Bus Tour hop on hop off. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone!
J.
Bus frequency can be improved.
F. P.
A great idea but poorly executed. Busses don't come often enough and are packed when they do arrive and once you are away from their main line it is difficult to get back to the next stop.
V. M.
Lovely experience! I've tried the different routes and always found tour guides with a great sense of humor on the bus.

I had Barbara today for the Spice Girl Tour and she was amazing!! Full of energy, amazing music and gave us amazing facts about The Spice Girls!!
O. L.
Great views of the city from this bus!👍
A. H.
The best way to discover London , get the tickets free by buying London eye tickets
K. S.
More busses are needed. Many of them were overcrowded. Also, there needs to be enthusiastic guides on the red line. The ones we had were terrible.
C. E.
Great way to get a tour of London taking in the major sights. The cruise was really good inclusion in the package also.
L. A.
This was an awesome tour, the bonus was doing the city tour on the Thames. All the guides have been extremely helpful and very nice.
S. C.
They have best services in London which covers almost everything you can see in London, they also cover cruise in the same ticket.

I loved the tour it helped me see all the main highlights of London during my short stay. I will definitely do use this in the future.
J. R.
Always a great way to see a city for the first time, never disappoints. Have done, NY, Vegas and now London. Will let you know, when I'm on the bus again...
V. M.
Get service. I saw so much. Good commentary too.
One suggestion. When the stop is announced, announce the stop number first. I worked my plan out by the numbers then had to replace consult my map.
L. M.
Absolutely the best way to tour London. Easy to hop on and off as there are stops besides most tourist attractions.
m. f.
Excellent way to see London. Appreciated the home James program, took us home at the end of the day instead of leaving us stranded at the other end of the city.
S. S.
We had a good experience with Big Bus. Friendly guides, a good route and we didn't have to wait for a bus more than 5 minutes.
S. S.
Loved the commentary and the route taken by the bus ... Lot of history explained while running thru
A. B.
Enjoyable ride and view from upper deck. Interesting commentary. We didn’t hop off- rode the full circuit once.
M. D.
This is a great way to learn about London. However, the traffic is very heavy at all times in London, so be prepared to go SLOW!
M. S.
This stop in Victoria is dominated by "The Original" tour which runs MUCH more frequently. Bus was totally full on upper level.
A. K.
Really enjoy the ride and taking a great place to take photograph from and discover parts of London that you have never explored before... just great!
T. K.
Overpriced. Many buses do not have live commentary and every bus we took did not go the route on the map and missed many landmarks.
H. S.
Really great experience. Friendly and efficient. Delicious food and great coffee

M. I. A.
Very good bus service. Easy and time saving. Cover most of the attractions.
L. B.
I had a 3 days ticket, but used it only on 1 and 1/s days. Moving very slowly and stops are not where you need them to be.
C. S.
Well organised and operated company with patient & helpful staff who are attentive to your needs as a tired, lost and confused tourist! Would recommend to anyone.
J. F.
Brilliant way to see London, you can hop on and off and take a closer look at the sights you want to. good value for money.

Gives a wonderful view of London and her historical landmarks.
V. A.
It is very resourceful for someone new in London and sightseeing the places. Good job Big Bus!
D. H.
I wasn't impressed with the attitude of the drivers and the fact that we sat in traffic for so long. The drivers would go off course to get us around traffic which seemed to make it worse.
T. L.
Great if the traffic is ok, a little bit slow, so plan for an outdoor activity. Dress according to weather.
A. S. S.
good service on time performance, take almost all attraction points in London, enjoy the London trip.
M. L.

P. G.
Great service, really enjoyed the audio commentary ,😃
P. E.
We rode the Red Line with the live tour guide. It was fun and informative.
A. N.
It helps us to identify the locations of the touristic objectives while learning a few basic things about these objectives.
D. W.
Enjoyable, but I don't get why two routes are headphones and one is narrated (English only)
K. S.
Wonderful! Big Steve is the BEST! Such a great way to see the city - definitely recommended.
S. C. T.

Took the 20-30 minutes for the next red line to show up as we just missed one.

L. S. I.
The Big Bus Tours London was an amazing experience. A huge tour of the City gems. Hopping on and off as we wished it was very convenient. The only reason I will not give you 5 stars is because the bus drivers are not very friendly.
M. &. M. M.
Great service informative and friendly helpful staff
S. T.
Just a pain waiting getting on but once on great
M. P.
It could include more areas and places of interest
K. B.
Having compared the other sites for tours- on paper Big tours seemed the best. I was not disappointed. I used the tour for my Wifes birthday. The tour guides were very helpful in guiding us around from bus to bus.
Only draw back we didn't pass Royal Albert Hall. However the boat ride was fab!
Thumbs up brill tour!
D. B.
Lovely experience, worth for the price
