Go Russia organized the perfect tailor-made trip along the Trans-Siberian Railway from Moscow to Lake Baikal for us two pensioners. It was quite a complex program, but it was flawlessly planned and executed. Go Russia's guides in Russia are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly, and in addition to giving us great tours in various interesting cities and places of interest along the way (Moscow, Kazan, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Irkutsk, Lake Baikal etc.), they helped us on our journey by meeting us at stations, seeing us out to stations etc. They all spoke good English. Go Russia booked excellent hotels for us all the way, and they were helpful throughout, including sorting out the Russian visas, which is pretty important, as Russian officialdom is a bit tiresome to the average tourist (just as intrusive as US visa and immigration practices). Even though such a big trip with all these services wasn't exactly cheap, it was worth every penny of it, and that is due to the amazing efficiency of Go Russia organizing everything perfectly. As opposed to other agencies offering trips in Russia, Go Russia are a Russian company with deep knowledge of their country and with an excellent network of guides and drivers there. Also, Go Russia give you very useful practical advice in detail so that you don't get surprises by differences between the UK and Russia. If you don't know any Russian, probably this is the company you should go with, because they help you along all the way in English. At the same time, they plan the trip so that you get a chance to do a bit of your own thing in various places if you want closer contact with the Russians living there. Also, as we had known before, the average Russian in the street is extremely helpful and friendly, especially if you can utter a few words in Russian. A lot of young people there manage some decent English, signs even in Siberian places have English inscriptions as well - so that combined with the efficiency with Go Russia ensures a memorable trip as long as you are not the type that looks for sausage and mash even abroad.

Our travel companions took great care of us, competently through the city Guided tours, if necessary translated the guided tours in the museums and they adjusted the program if something was of particular interest to us or if the weather didn't cooperate. Driver, guide, tour guide - all appointments always went as planned, everyone was on time. At the moment, traveling is an adventure in itself. We therefore wrote back and forth a lot with the tour operator in advance - whether it was certain, whether everything would work, whether the visas would be on time. The answer was always quick. So we can highly recommend the trip - and the cities are great, they are always worth a trip. (Original) Wir hatten eine tolle, super interessante und sehr gut organisierte Reise. Unsere Reisebegleiter haben sich prima um uns gekümmert, kompetent durch die Stadt geführt, ggf. die Führungen in den Museen übersetzt und sie haben das Programm angepasst wenn uns etwas besonders interessiert hat oder das Wetter mal nicht mitgespielt hat. Fahrer, Guide, Reiseleiter - alle Termine haben immer wie geplant geklappt, alle super pünktlich. Zur Zeit ist Verreisen an sich ja schon ein Abenteuer. Mit dem Reiseveranstalter haben wir deshalb im Vorfeld viel hin und her geschrieben - ob das sicher ist, ob alles klappt, ob die Visa pünktlich sind. Da wurde immer schnell geantwortet. Also wir können die Reise sehr empfehlen - und die Städte sind großartig, die sind alle Male eine Reise wert.

Moscow and Saint Petersburg are worth a trip. The organization by Go Russia was perfect. Small groups, always punctual departures, central, good hotels and, above all, tour guides who showed us the many sights with extensive knowledge and friendliness and explained the history of them.

We were in Moscow and St. Petersburg in June and are very satisfied with this tour company! The organization was perfect, all transfers worked smoothly, the hotels were excellent, all the tours were competent and timed just right. You can make individual changes to your trip and also have time to explore on your own. We can definitely recommend it!

It was my second trip to these two beautiful cities and I enjoyed it very much. I traveled alone and there was only a small group of us there. The organization was perfect, everyone and everything worked as promised. This also applies to the night train journey, which is really not an everyday occurrence. The local tour guides are friendly, flexible and competent. Great hotels in a prime location, a program composed of 'classics' but also program items that are not always offered. There was also time for 'your own program'. The expertise of the local tour guides is particularly impressive. No question was left unanswered, they were always friendly. In the run-up to the trip, all travel documents were sent by email on time, so there was no unsightly paperwork or questions. The application for the visa was also supported. I don't want to claim that it was all super easy, but it's definitely doable and knowing that I could ask questions at any time, everything was fine. So there is absolutely nothing negative to report. Only the weather didn't cooperate. Unfortunately, I didn't experience the Russian winter. Father Frost was probably on vacation too.

Beautiful trip, almost VIP actually because there were only two of us and we had a car with driver and guide for ourselves. Everything as planned, well organized, magnificent guides in Spanish, especially Katerina in Saint Petersburg. It is advisable to contract additional activities to the basic program. The night train Moscow Saint Petersburg is very good, but it is advisable to go at least in high class.

I just completed a Trans Mongolian Railway Trip with my mother and two aunts. We had a terrific time, and got to see and learn so much over our 19 day trip from Saint Petersburg to Beijing. Our local guides were all fantastic (excluding our guide in Mongolia, who didn't seem too interested in helping us learn about local life), hotels were in terrific, central locations and all were very clean, and for the most part the trains themselves were surprisingly comfortable and clean (again, with the exception of one). Pricing was fairly reasonable considering how much was included in our tour packages, and everything went off without a hitch.

Took the Trans Siberian Express from St Petersburg to Beijing. Every step of the 19 day trip was well planned and ran to schedule. All the guides were informative and friendly and the accommodation fitting for this kind of experience. It is advisable to read up on the train journey and prepare accordingly. Met some great people and would recommend go russia as they efficiently dealt with all the visas and picked the best of each location.

Great trans Siberian trip with GoRussia from Moscow to Beijing by older single woman. Julia did a great job setting everything up for me last minute. This was a trip of a lifetime and every thing went according to schedule. Some sites closed or busy because of national holidays, but made it more fun to see the locals enjoying themselves. Train transfers easy and second class cabins meeting other travelers on long legs made the trip fun. Hotels central and above my expectations. Wonderful local guides at every stop with good knowledge and english and many thanks especially to Ping who I missed saying goodbye to. She did a terrific job when some of the sites were closed because of rehearsal for the big 70th anniversary in Tiananmen Square. I Highly recommend Booking with Go Russia and the price was right.

I actually booked some tours through Expedia and forgot about the 48 hour timeframe to confirm while in Saint Petersburg. However, Go Russia was super flexible and I still got to do some private sightseeing for a totally reasonable price compared to sites like Viator where a private half-day tour can cost you over US$200. My guide was awesome and besides seeing the main sights advertised, took me to Annenkirche and the Museum of Contemporary Art. I wouldn't have gone to either one and I enjoyed the extra effort and thought that went into it as many guides won't do that. Very much recommend. Thank you!
