I did the High Street Kensington Tour on Saturday with David. The walking tour was fantastic - my favourite so far! David was excellent and the whole group were so impressed with his charisma, energy, knowledge and superb insight in to the hidden secrets of fabulous London. Definitely booking again! Thanks for a great afternoon.

I went on The Disastrous London Virtual Walk with Tour Guide Andrew who is very knowledgeable. If you enjoy history & love to find out more about London's gruesome past then do check out this London Walk.
Good value for money. Entertaining and interesting.

I have recently joined Kensington walk with David. Despite chilli afternoon David warmed us up taking us in this fascinating journey through the centuries based on the meticulous research made by our charismatic guide. We learnt about the origin of the place, their architectonic transformation, and its famous inhabitants (Royals, writers, architects, politicians, actors and more). Living in this district for nearly 20 year, I have discovered it again. I can recommend London walks wholeheartedly to All. David's passion about history of London and sharing with us makes the whole experience unique and unforgettable .

Recently joined David on the Kensington tour, having previously done a number of other tours each with a great guide. This really is the best way to get the most from a visit to London. David too was a fantastic guide around Kensington: knowledgeable, enthusiastic and entertaining in equal measure. This was very much a nooks and crannies look at London - there’s no real big reveal moment, but the devil is often in the detail. In addition, his Kensington credentials were very much boosted when he was greeted by name by locals on just about every street.

Great Kensington walk yesterday. Learned a lot about the general history of the area, architecture and local people from the past and present. Thoroughly engaging and knowledgeable host also. Have done walks of Clerkenwell and Whitechapel over the past few months with the same company and these have also been excellent and allowed me to explore different parts of the city. Plan to do more over the coming months.

We booked our original walk for January before Lockdown came into place, the staff at London Walks were very responsive and helpful with helping us change dates/times and gave us a lot of options. When we took our tour last week our guide was Peter and he was extremely knowledgeable and brought energy, humour and warmth to the tour. We brought our little boy who was 9 and all of us enjoyed the tour equally as there was so much to learn. We went on the Old Westminster tour but will be taking many more in the future. Highly recommend.
E. K.
I had wonderful tours with amazing and knowledgeable Claire in Soho, Chelsea and Mayfair.
I also enjoyed a very pleasant, inspiring Village in Piccadilly tour with witty and engaging Adam.
I only wish Claire’s and Adam’s tours at least in summer could last more than 2 hour. They magnify you with interesting information.
L. M.
David was an excellent guide. He brought the square mile into sharp focus. We learnt so much, and saw places we'd never have found on our own.
Possibly the best walking tour I've done anywhere.
S. T.
I was on the tour "In The Footsteps of Matthew Shardlake." Great presentation. I learned much more about London history and enjoyed reminsicing about the Shardlake novels by CJ Sansom. Andrew Hallett is knowledgeable and personable.
A. M.
Had a great Jack The Ripper Tour with Simon tonight. Simon is a brilliant storyteller and both my boyfriend and myself thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you for a great evening!
(from Cambridge/Wales)

We did a Jack the Ripper walk with tour guide Simon.
He really ist the personification of storytelling.
It was definitely worth it, surely am going to do some more guides next time I'm in London.
A. H.
Love our guide Peter!! Such a wonderful tour, for only $15. Would love to attend the tour again!
L. R.
The Music of Royal London tour with Adam was great fun. Wandering among some of the city’s most iconic buildings, listening to snippets linked to their past, Adam brought history to life.
R. T.
Hi - we did Hidden London with Adam. It is a gem of a walk with a highly knowledgeable and engaging guide. Easy to hear, informative and funny. An enjoyable two hours and recommended for all.
J. R.
a really good walk around London. our guide, Adam was informative, and entertaining. His knowledge on the history of the walk was great. i definitely learned a lot! The weather was terrible that night but he he carried on regardless making the rain take nothing out of the tour. we'll definately use this company again.
C. H.
I enjoyed my first London Walks tour today with Clare for a Past the Palace tour and it was excellent! I moved to London in 2018 and I wish I had joined these tours previously as the tour was a great way to learn more about not only as described, but also the architecture and ways about London. The tour was on time, fairly paced and priced, informative, as described by way of content covered and really quite enjoyable! I am really looking forward to joining more tours in the future and certainly recommend for residents and visitors alike.
J. M.
We loved ghosts of the old city with adam - he is a fabulous storyteller, the content is really interesting, and exploring the warrens of the old city was fun. I think Adam may well be the best tour guide in the uk.
S. W.
An absolutely superbly entertaining, informative and fascinating walk yesterday with Simon. It was obvious that everyone had a brilliant time and our group ranged from young to oldies like me! The biggest recommend.
J. S.
Loved the new 'Musical Covent Garden' walk, highlighting the music that has reverberated around Covent Garden through the centuries. From opera to operettas, Rule Britannia to My Fair Lady, Bob Dylan to Bob Marley (and Pink Floyd, too) -- great mix of tunes and history from master storyteller Adam. Highly recommended!
J. M.
The Ghosts of the Old City tour with Adam is terrific — he’s a hugely dynamic speaker, making the informative tour a bit like a walking history lesson crossed with a stand up act. Highly recommended.
S. E.
I’ve lived and visited London many times but I must say we thoroughly enjoyed the Inside Covent Garden tour with Adam. So many fascinating and fun facts, from the oldest restaurant in London to the murder in the alley. A joy, thank you

Virtual Lure of the Underground tour. Last week, our Boston-based USA500 group had the pleasure of a “walk” through London’s transport system and it was fascinating. Fiona turned history into an interesting dialogue and answered all of our questions. She was knowledgeable, with a good sense of humor, and kept us entertained for 90 minutes. I just wish I had the pleasure of “following her umbrella” around in person and felt badly that we did not have the opportunity to express our thanks and appreciation with a tip, just as though we were live and in London.

Over the past 25 years I've traveled to London many times. When planning a trip I always made a list of the "London Walks" walking tours I would be interested in showing up for (no reservations required). Since Covid shut down my travels, I've found a way to take those walks virtually. The same wonderful, knowledgeable guides with the same variety of neighborhoods and subjects has temporarily satisfied my yearning for the London I miss so much. I've managed to learn quite a bit more about London authors, history, art and architecture. I never hesitate to recommend London Walks when visiting London and now I can add a well deserved recommendation for their Virtual Tours. Give them a try, you will be pleasantly surprised.
M. H.
We had our first ' London Walks' tour last night - online via Zoom - and it was amazing! The website and booking was easy to use and efficient, the tour itself very insightful and masterfully led. Even though it was online we got a real insight into the area and felt like we were truly there. The company were friendly and informative and we would definitely go on another virtual tour again soon - we're already planning it! And when the world opens up again and we can be there in person this is the first tour company we would look at to go with in person. Top notch!
R. S. G.
Adam is knowledgeable and just a lot of fun to spend a couple of hours with on the “Rock'n'Roll London” and “Beatlemania with Adam” tours. I actually did both tours with him in one day and he was still knowledgeable and fun during the fourth hour!
M. S.
London Walks is the best way to learn all about the essence and history of London. Now that we can't physically go to London, we did a virtual tour and loved it. We "walked" all around Kensington and heard little-known facts and saw secret walkways and little known architectural details as well as well known scenery. It's also an incredible deal and we will "travel" in London through this spring with London Walks, until the day we can go back and join their walking tours in person.
A. Z.
This was my the first zoom tour and I had a wonderful time. Fiona was great and very knowledgeable. The interaction between her and David, from London Walks was an added bonus. I was able to meet people that I have been interacting with over social media.
Fiona was a joy to listen to. She showed me places that aren’t familiar. The videos and pictures of the Christmas season around London made me wish that I was there. Brilliant tour and I would highly recommend that anyone to who loves London as much as I do take a virtual tour.
D. A.
Have done Jack the ripper tour and Harry Potter tour.
Would recommend both, great way to see more of London and it's history.
K. L.
Absolutely love London Walks! The guides are wonderful - extremely knowledgeable, but kind and fun as well. I’ve been on many walks and day trips with them, and more recently, on their virtual tours. All have been fantastic, and I can’t say enough about how they have made the virtual tours come alive. Highly recommend!
G. G.
Have been to London many times and I always take a couple of the walks offered. Did a virtual tour this time. Guides are so informative, interesting and fun! Offer inside info and unusual subjects one would never get from a guidebook. Highly recommend!
V. R.
Exceptional real life and virtual walks and tours at all times! Having been lucky enough to do the Ghosts of the Old City tour in real life, I turned back to the virtual world of Hampstead. David (and all the London Walks guides) is superb in the detail and interest he added to the Hampstead "walk". If I listed every tour I've been on over the last year with London Walks, I'd be here all day. Try them and you will not be disappointed.
Victoria Redshaw - London Walks fan!

Yesterday evening I was delighted to join Adam's virtual Beatlemania tour. Over the years I have been on many of Adam's tours and I have never been disappointed . His musical knowledge is astounding and he shares it with enthusiasm. As always, his delivery was excellent and it was backed up by a professional slide show .
These tours have kept me going through Lockdown and I am constantly amazed by the breadth and depth of all of the guides knowledge.
I have signed up friends as a Birthday treat and everyone has enjoyed them.
Thank you London Walks and Adam in particular . Looking forward to the Kinks tour on Monday.

I knew a fair bit about Judy Garland before joining the tour. I know a whole lot more now. What was so great about Adam's tour were the fascinating "side streets," the meanders off the main topic to illuminate intriguing facts about London but still associated with the main artist. Adam's style is warm, witty and welcoming. The hour flew by. I have a feeling that he's able literally, to cover more ground virtually than in reality and can shape the narrative to suit the subject rather than be bound by how far you can walk in an hour. Tremendous stuff.
C. B.
The virtual tours assembled by London Walks are superb. While I’ve taken many in person walks over the years, these are no less informative and fun. I must have taken more than 20 virtual tours since lockdown. The guides are all excellent and welcoming and always leave time for questions after the presentations. The offerings continue to grow so keep checking back on the website for new tours. The creativity just astounds me. Do yourself a favor. Travel with London Walks Virtual Tours ASAP.

I took the Kensington Sights & Secrets virtual tour with David and just loved it. He is a well of knowledge and a marvellous guide. The tour is clear, organized and informative. Time for questions at the very end. Really appreciated that. Thank you London Walks for the whole experience, easy purchase, link to join sent promptly... Incredible value for money. Highly recommended.
P. I.
I participated at the Kensington virtual tour and David's introduction to the borough was outstanding, informative and interesting. He is enthusiastic about London's history and has a deep knowledge of it which he shares on his tours. Highly recommended if you are looking for more than an ordinary walking tour.

I've taken three tours with London Walks, and if the pandemic ended today, I'd be on my fourth. They really know their stuff and you can meet great people on the tours. The first one I took was the Hampstead walk. I used to live there, but it had been decades. I only wished I'd take the tour when I lived there so I could have known more about the streets I walked every day. It's my favorite village in the middle of London. I took the tour again, virtually this time because of COVID and not being able to travel and I learned even more with David, the most engaging guide. All my questions were answered, too. Last time I was in London I took the tour to the Cotswolds. I didn't need to spend money on cabs and an overnight stay at a B&B. London Walks had everything set, including a bus that picked us up at the rail station. Stopping off for a pub lunch and seeing Chipping Camden and other towns was a lifelong dream. Try a tour and you'll be a believer that this is the BEST way to see London and its environs. Real or virtual, their tours are amazing.

What a lovely evening! Lot's of surprising information (for me...) about Dylan, his time in London and how he was influenced by and influenced the British music scene

Virtual Jack the Ripper Tour with Richard Walker - AMAZING!!!!!
Review of London Walks
Pending review
This is a must see!!! My partner and I can't recommend this highly enough. Richard's knowledge and delivery of the Jack the Ripper tour was incredible. I didn't know a virtual tour could be so captivating.
Having enjoyed the Jack the Ripper tour, we booked to do 'Stand & Deliver' with Richard which is as you can imagine was about highwaymen. This was also exceptional and very entertaining.
Definitely give it a go, you won't be disappointed!

Take every virtual London Walk tour you can! Each walk is well-researched, enjoyable, interesting, and presented by a knowledgeable guide who uses terrific photos, maps, and paintings.
By delivering London to people worldwide (whether in lock down or not), London Walks has successfully found a new business line. I've enjoyed 30 walks and plan on joining many more. They are simply one-hour treats!
M. D. S.
Adam provides great virtual tours of London. I have taken his Haunted London and Beatlemania tours, both of which were excellent. Adam is very knowledgeable, witty and keeps the tours moving. If you can't go to London in person, his virtual walks are the next best thing.
L. S.
I took a virtual tour called "One Westminster - six palaces". This was my second virtual tour with the London Walks company. Both tour have been so professionally done. The guides are very knowledgeable, easy to listen to and understand (for instance sometimes guides in other tours mumble) and the visuals (maps, slide shots etc) are FANTASTIC and keep my interest. These are such good tours. I would highly recommend them although for those of us in Eastern Standard Time the times may not be as easy to accommodate. Some tours are free, others cost a small amount (about 10 US Dollars), which is entirely fair and worth it for the professional and well-done presentation that they offer.
M. E.
We got a virtual tour of the London Underground and it was fantastic. One of my business groups organized the tour and it was really fascinating. It was a virtual tour over zoom and our tour guide Fiona was terrific. We covered the whole system. Much more than we could have if we were on a traditional walking tour. We discussed the history, how the routes were established, the architecture of the stations and even some of the new expansion currently under construction. It was just great. I highly recommend it. Thank you Fiona!
L. W.
Fantastic London Tours! Been to the live tours which are fabulous but during lockdown the virtual tour have been brilliant, learnt so much and kept my mind stimulated. Brilliant, knowledgeable guides. Attending these tours has made me appreciate London so much more. The virtual tours have meant the guides can share even more of their knowledge and jump from place to place in the city (not constrained by walking distance) as well as around the country and the world. Thoroughly recommend!
S. M.
Yesterday I had another wonderful virtual walk (London Walks Sights & Secrets of Kensington Virtual). This time with the knowledgeable and very friendly guide David T. who gave me and my fellow walkers a memorable tour! I highly recommend these virtual tours!
T. I.
Best walking tour ever with Simon W. who shared his wonderful knowledge of architecture, history, the arts and theatre world in the unmatched area around Covent (or Convent!) Garden, also lovely anecdotes included. Such a privilege to enjoy London walking and listening and learning with Simon! THANK YOU! tania
J. L.
London Walks virtual tours are as delightful, entertaining and enlightening as their actual walking tours through London. So far I've had the pleasure of doing Kensington Sights and Secrets and Alfred Hitchcock in London. Guides David and Richard were extremely knowledgable on their respective topics and the passion and respect they have for their subjects made it even more exciting. The informal Q&A afterwards was great fun as you get to meet people from all over the world. An entertaining and informative tour from beginning to end!
J. C.
I joined the Original London Walks tour of Old Kensington over the Easter holiday, the walks had just started up again as lockdown started to ease. There were three of us on the walk and we were guided by David. I am familiar with the Kensington area and wanted to discover more. I have done many of their walks in the past to find hidden gems and this walk did not disappoint. We were taken down tiny backstreets and alleyways and saw amazing places (and a restaurant personally recommended by David that tourists never find). He also knew so many people in the area so the walk was friendly and personal. The facts you hear are often quirky and bizarre, in this case seeing a building that used to be a mortuary! The guides always point out features on buildings that you would never see and the information I have learnt (often by non-Londoners!) over the years is astounding. David was an excellent guide and kept us entertained, just got to decide which walk to do next!
L. H.
London Walks are hands-down the best walking tours anywhere. If you want tours that dig deeply into what you’re seeing and hearing about, and will keep you engaged throughout, look no further. For those of us who can’t get to London during these lousy times, Walks are doing virtual tours via Zoom. We did one this morning in Kensington with David, which was terrific with his outstanding narration of the history and surprises one can find if you know where to look. You know where to look because of London Walks and guides like David! I can’t recommend them more highly in person or via Zoom!
S. N.
March 2021. Well I’ve just done another virtual walk with London Walks and David and Mary. They never disappoint. Interesting, passionately delivered and I love how many interesting locals David knows- even when the walk is done virtually you get a real sense and feel for the area and community. Really highly recommend.
What fantastic virtual walks. I’ve now done 4 of these walks including ghosts of the old city with Adam Jack the Ripper with Simon Sherlock Holmes with Richard B and Magic of London with Richard Walker and they have all been fantastic. Well presented with knowledgeable and friendly guides who are passionate about their subject and about London. Very creative way of dealing with current covid situation and just as high quality as the actual walks which have always been excellent. Highly recommended
E. P.
David Tucker's virtual tour of Kensington is a must. David puts Kensington into the context of London with attention to hidden secrets of the area in a way that makes for an unforgettable experience. In addition to the history, David teaches one how to date a building quite accurately based on architectural, functional, or decorative elements that may otherwise escape notice. David's passion for his subject is utterly contagious and will leave you checking the schedule for his next tour.
L. D.
I purchased this foe my husband, mother and myself because we all love London and wish we could visit! The tour was very informative and included many details I might see and notice on a walk but with the very interesting history and information behind it. Great way to spend a rainy, Sunday afternoon! Great value for the price.
C. H.
Wonderful, well-illustrated virtual tour of the Kensington district of London, led by the very knowledgeable and friendly David Tucker. This company's "in-person" walks are also great value as my family knows from past travels, but the virtual walks easily feature great illustrations (maps, historic images etc) that would be less easy to include in a "shoeleather on pavement" tour--Though we'll be happy to join either type again in future! Thank you London Walks!!
S. O.
Wonderful guided walks in London. I am a Londoner but I always learn a huge amount from these walks, and the guides are always extremely informative and friendly. Would highly recommend as a fun and different way to explore London. I have been on at least 5, and all have been excellent!
J. M.
I recently went on a virtual Zoom tour of Kensington with our guide David. It was great - a truly fascinating and informative walk through history. We had been on a number of actual walking tours with London Walks when we visited London a few years ago. The guides were consistently top-notch and the tours were always both fun and educational. Since we're now locked down and unable to travel, and not sure when that will change, I was very pleased to learn that London Walks is now offering virtual tours. What a great way to learn - and keep yourself sane - in these difficult times. Since we live in the U.S., I'm hoping that, even when things return to normal, the virtual tours will continue. Either way, I highly recommend London Walks.
E. U.
Great walks to get to know the city.. and to better appreciate its richness of history and culture. Rock'n'Roll Soho tour with Adam was fantastic.. particularly recommended for music enthusiasts.
D. S.
We took the virtual "Magic of London" tour with Richard Walker on Saturday - he kept us enthralled for the full time. Seeing London without the crowds was a new experience - we got to see views we never would have gotten in the flesh. Richard's stories enlightened and entertained us, and it was fun to be able to combine areas which are too far apart to fit into a single physical London Walk (we've been taking London Walks since 2005).
I'm planning to do more virtual tours with London Walks and can't wait until we can come back and see you in person!
J. W.
We participated in Fiona Lukas' virtual Alleyways of the Old City last week. Although we have over 9 decades between us working in various parts of the City of London, Fiona was able to shine a light on nooks and crannies which were new to us. Fiona is a very knowledgeable Guide who presents her material in a way which accommodates all levels of knowledge on the subject. We attended her London Underground Tour last year which is also highly recommended.
J. B.
Amazing virtual tours. Every guide is so passionate about his or her topics and they all are so friendly. Every question is answered, even if they have to come back to you via Email. It's just so nice. I've studied in London and I am missing 'my' London. The virtual tours give me the possibility to refresh my Memories... Especially in the tours about historical topics I seem to be the youngest one in the call. So please come and share this wonderful experience...
Loving it. Especially the bookish and historic tours. Please Do not stop the virtual tours. It's just a fantastic opportunity. I will try to do all your virtual tours. :)
Greetings to every guide and thanks for sharing your knowledge and your passion. All the best from Salzburg :)
J. M.
I went on a walk yesterday through Brook Green led by Ann. I really enjoyed it and, although I had gone through that area many times, Ann pointed out so many things I had never noticed and gave the background. Really enjoyed it and thoroughly recommended. I feel like a Brook Green expert now!
C. B.
I've taken several London Walks, both virtually and in-person and every single one has been fantastic. The guides are entertaining and knowledgeable (you can't beat the content on the Jack the Ripper walk) and it's like touring London with a good friend. Whether it's delving into the world of Sherlock Holmes with Richard, having Adam scare you on a ghost tour, learning about the Thames from Chris, discussing shopping in Piccadilly with Karen, or discovering Covent Garden with Simon, the tours are flat-out amazing. During lock-down the virtual tours are a great way to travel without leaving your house! In person, the tours are the highlight of every London trip!
D. F.
I booked two walks with London Walks at the cost of £15 per adult for each two hour walk, with a reduction for my younger son. At first, I didn’t think they would be very well organised because of the low cost but I was wrong, the guides were excellent, very knowledgeable and well educated in their subjects. We thoroughly enjoyed them and will be booking more walks in the near future. What a great way to discover more about London. I can’t wait for my next one this weekend!
C. W.
Did the virtual Pink Floyd London Tour. Really enjoyed it. Interesting to see the band’s history in the context of the venues, places and people around them. Tour guide is knowledgeable and the tour was relaxed and intimate. Enjoyed it so much I have signed up for the Dylan tour.
D. M.
We did the private tour of Westminster and it was great. Adam was patient and engaging. He was able to give a good idea of the history and trivia and was flexible to our needs
C. G.
London Walks Sights & Secrets of Kensington Virtual Tour was a gift from my sister. What a wonderful gesture since many of us are staying home these days. David took us through the secret walks, courtyards and streets of Kensington. His knowledge of architectural history of some of the oldest dwellings and sections of Kensington was inspiring. We visited and heard stories about shops, stores and restaurants along the way, hidden paths including the homes of poets, artists who lived there. I appreciated David's attention to detail and ability to explain the historical and cultural evolution of Kensington's rich history. I look forward to returning for other London Walks virtual tours. What an exciting way to see London without leaving home. Thank you for this rich experience, David, Mary and everyone at London Walks!
C. S.
Beatlemania (virtual tour) was wonderful with Adam as our guide. He brought the thrill of the Beatles to our group through multimedia, live music, and his wealth of knowledge and passion for the Beatles. I highly recommend this tour.
J. A.
The virtual walk I went on was informative and very interesting, introducing this long time resident of London to the micro-history and quirks of a part of the city I have often visited, but, I realise after this, have never really looked at. David wears his immense erudition lightly and the walk was great fun as well as intriguing. I would go on many more.
D. B.
The Hidden London tour was my first with London Walks and it was a great experience. My guide Adam Scott-Goulding has set the bar high with his in depth knowledge, his gentle humour and excellent communication skills. Will be signing up from more tours.
G. S.
We went on a virtual tour around Covent Garden with the theme of Music. There was Classical, Opera, Pop, Folk, Reggae, Music Hall, Musical Theatre, a bit of everything. The tour was professionally presented by Adam. It was at times funny, friendly, surprising, interesting, fascinating, beautiful, competitive and fun. I would recommend this tour.
J. P.
The professional guides on London Walks never fail to deliver fabulous, informative walking tours. Went on the Old Westminster walking tour and discovered several monuments and and beautiful streets I'd never realised existed plus of course a wealth of interesting history and stories about the area. Highly recommend!
C. M.
I took the Hampstead Heath and Village tour on a Sunday morning. I have gone on many many London walks so my expectations are high. I must say the guide David was a true professional - he knew the area so well (he lives there) and had a deep knowledge and enthusiasm for all the history that it offers. I highly recommend this walk - you will love it and learn things about the 'village' of Hampstead and the Heath that you never expected.
R. L.
During the COVID-19 crisis, London Walks is offering a range of very affordable virtual tours on Zoom. I attended the "Jack the Ripper," "The Magic of London," and "Exploring Regency London - How the West End Was Won" virtual tours and highly recommend them. Our Blue Badge tourist guide, Simon (Jack the Ripper tour), Richard (Magic of London tour), and Charlie (Exploring Regency London tour) were well-prepared, friendly, and enthusiastic. London Walks appears to be a highly professional organization. I will very likely join additional virtual tours, and I sincerely hope to take their in-person tours one day when I'm in London. The tour audiences experienced some minor audio problems due to low bandwidth, so be prepared for that possibility, but don't let it dissuade you from trying a virtual tour. Don't miss out!!
E. C.
David is a friendly, extremely knowledgeable and talented Guide who really made this virtual tour come alive. Having intros on camera and a final discussion review was a lovely plus in these isolated times. Great way to spend a Saturday evening. Shall definitely book another Virtual Tour.
J. N.
There is none better! We discovered London Walks about 6 years ago (Oscar Wilde tour). They've ruined me for other tours. The guides are knowledgeable and engaging. They share so many details, histories and stories that you don't want the tour to end. I've since done 4 more over the years, when we travel to London. Hampstead Heath was a favorite.
Now, during COVID times, I've done several virtual tours and am so excited about it! The visuals, the maps and the stories all work via the zoom call. I enjoy them as much as if I were there and I think I retain more of the info and it helping me plan future trips. Bonus: my feet don't ache!
I highly recommend the virtual tours to people who have traveled to London and to those who haven't. What a treat!
C. V.
We did the ghost tour for my birthday and it was fantastic. The perfect mix of history, facts and great storytelling. They have covid secure measures in place which made us feel safer. Adam was an excellent tour guide! Couldn't have asked for a better way to spend my birthday evening.
J. C.
After having lived in London for a couple of years, this is still my favorite way to explore the city. The tours are always very well done with knowledgeable and friendly guides.

I was so happy to see a virtual tour of Kensington by London Walks. I went on Zoom and toured with David Tucker. I loved the details of buildings that I would never have seen. I loved the old maps of the area as well. What an enriching experience! I have taken walking tours with London Walks in London before. It is pure joy to learn from these experts like David. I cannot visit London due to the Coronavirus but this helps me feel like I am there. Another benefit of this virtual tour is that I had no sore feet! I have already booked two more tours. I totally recommend London Walks virtual tours!

Wonderful evening tour last night. It was 'Beatlemania 1961-65'. Our uber-knowledgeable host Adam first of all gave us a great historical background of the early 60's before we launched into the tour, criss-crossing the early Beatles experiences with lovely graphics (and original 1960's London maps!). There were some great stories I hadn't heard including a lovely one about George Harrison and Princess Margaret. To top it all, our host played and sang a couple of lovely early Beatles tunes. All in all - brlliant and worth much more than a tenner.

I attended an online tour, Alleyways of the Old City of London, by guide Fiona Lukas. The tour was fascinating and very well presented. Fiona made the tour fun as well as educational and her short films and photographs were excellent. It inspired me to go and see for myself when I next visit London.
M. B.
I got up extra-early to take Fiona's Lure of the Underground virtual tour (I'm in the U.S.) and it was worth every minute. Engineering history, planning history, social history, architecture, design - there are so many overlapping subtopics and as always Fiona flows easily among them through an engaging storyline.
London Walks going virtual has been a highlight of the past year!

Thanks to Corona my Holiday in London was cancelled but then I came across London Walks which are offering virtual Tours.
Me missing London was immediately sold. So I booked my first Tour with London Walks - The Jack the Ripper virtual Tour with the very delightful and witty Blue Badge Host Simon Whitehouse.
It was an amazing Adventure. Even if it was just a virtual Tour, Simon kept the dark atmosphere going, his enthusiasm for Jack was contagious and it was very captivating listening to the Story and Theories surrounding Jack the Ripper.
In fact it was so much the first time in May 2020, that I booked the Tour again just today and virtually walked again with Simon on Jacks trail of Mayhem. And it was even greater than just a few weeks ago. Much more details and video snippets have been added to the walk, making this tour so much more fun and interesting.
I can not wait to be back in London and redeem my virtual ticket into a real one. BIG THANK YOU TO SIMON AND LONDON WALKS!!
The tour is conducted using Zoom. Which is easy to install and handle.

We have taken excellent tours with London Walks before so when we heard that they were doing virtual ones during the pandemic we were instantly sold! We did the Beatlemania one and it was fantastic! Lots of little tidbits that we didn’t know before and the host was very knowledgeable and engaging! Will definitely take some more during our staycation this year as long as they are still available!
G. F.
I have just attended, & very much enjoyed, David Tucker's excellent virtual walk around Kensington's Sights & Secrets. I would highly recommend it. Over an hour's worth of beautiful slides, accompanied by detailed & interesting information & anecdotes from an enthusiastic speaker. If I can't be there to walk the streets in person, then I can't think of a better way to get to know the area than by attending one of David's virtual talks.
R. B.
Fiona-Jane Weston's virtual walk about London's Women of World War 1 was really interesting and well presented. Fiona-Jane even burst into song several times, which added another dimension to the experience! She was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable; I enjoyed finding out about strong, ground-breaking characters as well as the wartime experience for women in general. I will look out for other events hosted by Fiona-Jane.

London Walks is the best value in this great city! During Lockdown their virtual walks have been a lifesaver, and the History of London series is astounding! Professional, enthusiastic, informative - Superb!
C. C.
I spent the summer in London and went on 7 London walks. They are always fun and informative. And gives you a chance to feel a part of this great city.
R. D.
Enjoyed London Walks many times over the years. The Westminster tour with Adam didn’t let us down; informative, interesting and entertaining, it’s great value too. Recommended!
G. M.
We did the excellent Ghost walking tour last night with our fantastic tour guide Adam. The tour itself was fun and informative, it was well planned out and very enjoyable. We were particularly pleased to see the emphasis on COVID safety and social distancing, we felt very safe. Thanks again, we would definitely recommend!
C. N.
This was my second virtual tour with London Walks. I love them. They give so much history about the area, combined with current content. I learn so much. I've been wanting to get back to London, and had planned to do so this spring, but covid wrecked that. Having virtual tours really helps with the travel bug.
M. B.
Did a virtual tour of Kensington during lockdown, with David Tucker. Enjoyed it very much, he has a wealth of knowledge, used a mix of beautiful photographs and prints of old maps. Discovered things I would never have found on my own walking through Kensington. Recommend!
e. m.
Loved going with David Tucker on a virtual Hampstead walk. The beauty and history of Hampstead came alive during this tour. I felt like I was walking through the narrow lanes and seeing all of London from atop Hampstead Heath. Highly recommend.
M. H.
Wonderful virtual tour of Kensington. Lots of stories, architecture and history. in some ways this is better than an in person tour because David was able to share old maps and pictures easily. I look forward to more virtual tours and hope to do an in person tour someday.
T. S.
I’ve taken several of these London Walks tours pre-Covid and they are wonderful. The guides always show you little side streets that you would never see walking by yourself or on a big bus tour. The virtual tours they are offering now are a great way to travel on screen. You still get to see the little side streets and listen to the stories, just not in person.
A. T.
Adam is such a fantastic tour guide and his virtual tours are amazing! Adam is a master at crafting his online tours so that it feels as if you’re right there in the middle of the action. There’s never a dull moment and he’s full of stories and anecdotes that even a seasoned Londoner won’t have heard before. I love getting the follow up email with a playlist afterwards as you’re so inspired to listen to the music that provides the backdrop to the tour.
D. E.
I have enjoyed London Walks tours, when visiting London, for over twenty years. Their guides are extremely knowledgeable (they really know their stuff - aren’t just reciting prepared scripts) and incredibly entertaining. They manage to find nooks and crannies of London that most of us would never find ourselves - or places/things that we would walk right by with no appreciation for their significance. Now, with COVID restricting travel, London Walks has started presenting virtual walks online. I “took” two of them today - a tour of beautiful Kensington and a tour called “Disastrous London.” Both were fun and informative, and whet my appetite for when I can return to London. I highly recommend London Walks - live or virtual.
A. K.
Our tours around the River Thames/Embankment were excellently organised by London Walks and both our tour guides, Simon and Karen were amazing. Our members really enjoyed the walk and found it very interesting and learnt new and interesting facts about London. Plus the weather was amazing and it was the perfect time to go for a walk around London. We were in 2 groups of 6 and that felt safe especially during this time. The tour guides introduced themselves and made the group feel comfortable in asking questions too. We will definitely be organising a few more of these walks with London Walks. Thank you to you and the team.

We took the Kensington "walk" with the incomparable David, owner of London Walks. We had actually taken the "physical" walk back in March 2020, just before the pandemic hit, and enjoyed it very much. So we were curious to see how the virtual walk would go.
David escorted us at a pace of about 2 anecdotes per minute - just our speed.
One thing we liked right away was that we could track the walk on-line with Google Maps, even using Street View from time to time to get our bearings.
In a London Walk, the guide usually has a sheaf of material that they pass around during the walk. With a beautiful neighborhood and crowd of tour goers, it's often a distraction. But in the virtual format, the sheaf becomes the cornerstone of the tour, supplemented by images of the streets that we're touring. It was an unexpected plus for this format.
So our first try at a virtual walk was a hit. We're looking forward to our next one in a few days.
S. L.
David was the guide for this tour of Kensington, London and provided a brilliant insight of the area, uncovering a history that i, as a Londoner, had no idea about. We were never more than a couple of hundred yards from the High Street but much of what we saw the casual tourist would not come across. What we learned encompassed architecture, the evolution of London's life styles, the people who had a significant impact on Kensington and the multi cultural origins of London as a modernist city. Tour given with passion and warmth and, kind of important, you could hear every word he said even in the busy high street. Many thanks David.
R. G.
This virtual walk was extremely informative and enjoyable. Maybe not as good as actually being in London, but in some ways better (for one thing you don't have to deal with traffic noise). Lots of great pictures as the walk progressed and in depth stories about the sites on the route. Hard to imagine a better virtual tour.

London Walks Sights and Secret of Kensington
Comments from members of Chinnor & District U3A
Thank you, Peter, for organising such and interesting and entertaining visit to Kensington. David Tucker certainly knew his subject and it was fascinating how many little details he picked out that we would have missed completely.
It brightened up a dreary rainy afternoon and it was lovely to see so many U3A friends again after such a long period of time. We look forward to more Zoom Presentations in the future.
Well done on presentation today, it was first class. We thoroughly enjoyed it, we'll just have to go back and look up all those bits we hadn't noticed before!
Today's 'walk' was brilliant Peter, a triumph Hope to see more in the future.
Many thanks for the excellent Kensington presentation. A great presenter who we should welcome back and most certainly try to join him as and when,
Just to say thank you for the zoom presentation yesterday. He was amazing, clearly enjoyed showing us around his route. These things don’t just happen and are very much appreciated.
A really enjoyable afternoon, much needed.
Good talk yesterday. It would be good to organise more of them while we are still unable to meet at the village hall, even when we are allowed out having the them during the winter months when it’s more difficult for people to get out and about due to the weather.
Thank you so much for organising this I so enjoyed the talk by David he is a vg speaker would love to go on one of his tours sometime.
That was such an interesting talk - can’t wait to try out on foot.
Hope we can have another one soon - great for rainy isolating afternoon !
Please pass on our thanks to Peter for organising the Kensington Tour talk this afternoon. Very interesting.
L. C.
I have done London Walks in person and of course more recently, virtually. Virtual tours led by Chris, Simon, Richard B, and more have brought a brightness to a dreary year and provided a fun activity for stay at home. I strongly recommend checking one out!
D. S.
It was a great evening and a bit like going on holidays from the cosiness of our own living room.
Richard gave a great talk and showed us interesting pictures and clips. We really enjoyed the experience and will definitely book another tour!
J. A.
We have been long time fans of London Walks, and also of new technologies. Virtual tours are not just a necessity during the pandemic, but also what the future holds. That future is brighter than many people are willing to admit. When it comes to content, virtual tours can’t be beat. Also, with no geographical limitations, we actually get to see more in our “Google Shuttle.” We loved Andrew’s virtual tour, and look forward to more.
P. F.
I have recently attended a number of virtual London Walks tours hosted by (respectively) Richard Walker, Karen Scott-Goulding, and Adam Scott-Goulding covering the Magic of London, the Village of Piccadilly, the Beatles in London and Rock & Roll London. They were uniformly excellent. I highly recommend these tours and plan to take more. If you have any doubts about the virtual tour experience, don't -- just go!
J. F.
I have done both the Ghosts Of The Old City Virtual Tour with Adam and the Lure of the Underground with Fiona and they are both amazing tours which I would recommend to all. They are very informative and so interesting and what is also amazing is that you can use your ticket for the virtual tour to do the actual walking tour when they start up again.
P.
The virtual walking tour of Little Venice given by Richard Roques was really professional, really interesting and really enjoyable. Richard was very knowledgeable, relaxing and at ease with us and his subject. It was very good value.
R. S.
I was fortunate to be a member of a business and social group that featured this tour virtually. It was fascinating, informative ,and the leader was jovial and kind. The next time I am in London I am going to book a tour in the flesh. This is a not to be missed event.
R. S.
After COVID put paid to our plans to see the lights in person, I was so happy to find this tour online. Fiona Lukas is fun, friendly and very knowledgeable. Her guided „walk“ was excellent and I hope I’ll be able to join her again in future - possibly even in person so I can give her a well-deserved tip!
M. T.
After taking part in many of London Walks tours during our visits to the capital, we were delighted to learn that they had introduced virtual walks during these strange times when we're not able to get out and about! Can't recommend them highly enough! Their Guides have a passion for sharing their love of the city and their encyclopaedic knowledge! Here are the ones we've covered so far:-
Inside Covent Garden with Simon - An extremely interesting and fun look at the history of Covent Garden. Simon is a great story teller with a wicked sense of humour!
The Village in Piccadilly - Karen took us on the most enjoyable virtual tour of Piccadilly. She is so eloquent and magically draws you in to the area when describing the theatres, arcades and shops! How can a virtual walk leave you wanting to taste chocolate? Join Karen and you'll see for yourself!
Kensington with David - We were very surprised to learn that there is so much more to this neighbourhood than just the palace. Joining David on the real walk is definitely high up on our to do list when we visit again.
Rock & Roll London, Beatlemania, Bob Dylan London, Musical Covent Garden - What Adam doesn't know about music just isn't worth knowing! Prepare to be blown away! This man can make the reading of a telephone directory sound interesting!
Ghosts of the Old City - A great hour of spooky tales with Adam.
Scandalous Mayfair - This walk with Russell is crammed full of juicy stories of a supposedly 'well to do' neighbourhood! We loved it!
We have another two walks booked - Charles Dickens 150th Anniversary with Simon and The Lure of the Underground with Fiona.
I think it's safe to say, we're hooked on London Walks' Virtual Tours! Don't forget to keep your tickets to join the 'real' walk for free when they're available again. Just looking at the amount of walks we've taken part in through lockdown, I don't know how long we'd need in London to join them all again!!
K. P.
I did the virtual walk of Kensington last week. It was great! Of course, I can't travel to London myself this year, but this was the next best thing! I highly recommend these tours. They're still fun, and we'll help an industry and its people survive these difficult times. Take one of their tours!

Have used London Walks.com for many years and they are a superb guiding company with excellent, very knowledgeable guides. Since Covid lockdown they have been doing a number of virtual tours/walks which seem to be increasing daily. We have done a few now and enjoyed every one. Last night we did “A Musical Covent Garden” with Adam. He is so knowledgeable and humorous we thoroughly recommend this tour. He also has a great singing voice. ( But don’t tell him I said so :) )
Just to add to this we did The Magic of London with Richard Walker which was excellent and he also has a good singing voice. We are looking forward to doing the cartoon walk soon and then gradually do them all I think 🤔
C. W.
Wonderful tours. Great way to see London when you can't leave your house or the country. I have attended a number of their tours and have been extremely satisfied with each one and continue to sign up for more. The guides are knowledgeable and are very professional and fun.
S. B.
Chris Green took a few of us on a virtual tour along the Thames, into the Tate for a quick look, and under a bridge. It was quite a lovely talk and she is a knowledgeable, interesting and fun leader. I highly recommend her talks.
M. F.
Adam's virtual Pink Floyd tour was the next best thing to being there. For an hour we were transported back to London in the late 60s with Syd and the gang. What better way to spend a COVID Sunday afternoon?
G. M.
Went on the Ghosts Of the Old City tour with Adam. Very entertaining, thoroughly enjoyed it. Fascinating to learn about some of London's murky past.
J. P.
Miss London and the London Walks experience, but took a virtual Pink Floyd themed walk with Adam recently and it's the next best thing to being their IRL. Highly recommend you "visit" this way while we wait for the time when we can enjoy in person
S. C.
I always enjoyed the physical London Walks, so thank you for putting on these virtual tours to feel as though we are going round with a group, ( and perhaps also open a window for that open-air feeling ). Just went on the Lure of the Underground, covers everything from early steam tubes to Star Wars, including where the huge space came from to make Canary Wharf tube. And thanks for the follow up email to remind us of some things covered on the talk. How about doing some of the wartime and spying walks virtually ? Thanks
V. S.
I did the ‘Hidden Village’ tour this week with London Walks. It’s my 4th London walk and I can’t recommend them highly enough. As a London blow in, they help me understand the city’s unique character and quirks in a way I never would have by just wandering around or with my head stuck in my phone. It’s the best value way to spend 2 hours in the city in my opinion:
T. M.
I have taken multiple London walks each time I’ve visited London and have nothing but raves for my experience on each. Last week, I was so excited to find they were conducting virtual tours! What a treat for an anglophile who lives in California. This could be the most fabulous thing to come out of this awful pandemic for me. There was one with a tech difficulty, but that is to be expected. I found the guide to be more than generous about making up for the interruption. Definitely participate both virtually and in person!
C. R.
I have now been on around ten London Walks, and they have been consistently excellent. Guides are very knowledgeable but also informal and reactive. I would highly recommend them to anyone, local or tourist.
S. A.
I've done the Jack the Ripper walk with London Walks twice now and really recommend this above all others. The guides are experts, they are interesting, great value, and each guide has different theories and interest areas, making it well worth visiting more than once! As a tourist, I was overwhelmed by the number of Jack the Ripper tours on offer, and was checking out the brochures when this one was recommended to me. I was told "don't go to any other: this is the best" and I must say I agree!
P. R.
Did the Kensington Virtual tour. Really great. Learnt a lot. I have been on other walking tours with London Walks and they are always excellent. Well informed guides
L. T.
Had a great virtual tour of Kensington today with David Tucker. He showed us around Kensington, with photos and maps, but most of all his mastery of Kensington history, architecture, famous residents. He also provides fun tidbits about interesting shops. Haven’t been to London in a while, but when I’m back, I will certainly plan to go on a walk or tour with London Walks.
J. S.
Brilliant Virtual Cartoon and Comic Book tour led by Adam. Thoroughly enjoyable mix of history, key venues and personalities and brilliantly illustrated by examples of design and how London features in these books. Humour a key part of the tour, and overall a fantastic hour.
N. C.
I did the London Kensington tour via zoom during the lockdown and I couldn't recommend it strongly enough :even behind a screen it was very interesting, full of historical details, on the architecture, the people and the area itself. This is a must do must see.
J. M. W.
We had a wonderful time on the Pink Floyd Virtual Tour. Adam was extremely knowledgeable and personable, sharing all sorts of fascinating tales. We also loved his Rock'n'Roll Tour. I would highly recommend these tours!
V. W.
Richard III's "London of Charles Dickens" virtual walk was fantastic! He took us on a tour of Dickens' homes from birth to death, sharing Dickens' own story and how he used the locations in his novels. Maps helped to put the locations into context with London, just as Richard put the details of Dickens' life into context with his stories. Thank you, Richard!
h. w.
Our virtual Rock and Roll tour of London with Adam was fab. The presentation and content were excellent and the singing was pretty good too. Heather from Camberley WI
J.
"Beatlemania in London" led by Adam was entertaining and informative. Nick's Stratford upon Avon tour combined firsthand theatre stories with an enjoyable "walk" through the area. LW virtual tours are a great way to get your London fix until travel opens up again. All LW guides are knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and engaging storytellers. Highly recommend!
H. P.
What a lovely and interesting walk, I learnt so much about Kensington from David. Him and Mary were so welcoming and included everyone it was a real pleasure to be on the tour (virtual) Will be back for more!
T. B.
I have been using London Walks for over forty years. Their guides are very knowledgeable, friendly and utterly charming. I have no hesitation in recommending what I consider to be the greatest walking tour company in the world.
c. s.
charming and very humorous walk through Kensington- it opened my eyes to the details we miss all too often when we walk past an address in our busy daily routines. David bought Kensington alive- no mean feat when he also managed it long distance by Zoom! A must do!
M. A.
What a wonderful virtual tour we had with Adam and Lionel Bart in London. A great trip down memory lane! Adam is a terrific. So knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Thank you!
S. U.
London Walks guides are the absolute best in the business. Their knowledge and enthusiasm is second to none - you’ll always find out a myriad of facts and trivia - and their eclectic mix of subjects make it difficult to choose which to join in with first! During the pandemic they are running virtual ‘walks’ on Zoom and they work brilliantly. They also have excellent podcasts on whichever subjects the guides feel like talking about, some complimenting the actual walks but others on general London based themes. If you have an interest in London, social history, walking, or any combination thereof, you really can’t do better than joining in on one of their walks, Zoom virtual walks, or podcasts.
S. M.
Karen's Old Westminster virtual tour was outstanding. I stayed in the area during my last London visit, and this tour makes me want to stay nearby on my next visit, too, to seek out the gems Karen introduced to me. London Walks rules!
M. B.
I took an online tour of Kensington. The guide David took us to places we never would have found on our own. We learned about the history and development of the area. I have visited London many times but David presented new things such as Japan House and its sushi restaurant.
H. B.
Have had the privilege of attending two virtual walks (and lots of real life walks in non-pandemic times). The virtual walks are the perfect thing to do when you are missing London but can't travel and visit. The guides are so knowledgable and have so much interesting information to share!
D. R.
The "Mozart in London" virtual tour was great. There are so many things I didn't realise about the young Mozart, including this whistle-stop tour of Europe organised by his father to cash in on the family's talents! Adam is a congenial host with what can be only described as a factual sponge for a brain. Who could have imagined that lockdown has its benefits!
P. C.
London’s Women of World War I Walk. A thoroughly enjoyable evening with Fiona-Jane as our guide. Fiona-Jane was engaging and knowledgeable and we learnt a lot about a subject which has often been over-looked. Thank you Fiona-Jane
M. M.
I enjoyed Andrew’s “Disastrous London” Walk this last week. I’ve been on several London Walks in London and this appreciated how Andrew worked to approximate that experience with his video and visuals in the virtual realm. From Google Street views of our origin point at Barbican to panoramic photos of Charterhouse and Saint Bartholomew’s to sound effects of crackling flames to accompany his commentary on the Great Fire, Andrew made our journey engaging. His quick wit, deep knowledge of history, jokes, and joviality contributed to a delightful and fun Walking tour.
G. C.
Nick Day's virtual tour of Stratford upon Avon is a must for anyone who is planning a visit, or those - like me - who have been before but would like to be reminded of the highlights. And Nick is a true man of the theatre, which is what lies at the heart of Stratford and all it stands for.
B. U.
Fascinating virtual trip around Judy Garland's London! Incredibly well researched and full of fascinating facts hosted by Adam whose warmth, passion and insights were absorbing throughout. Highly recommended! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
G. D.
An exceptional tour with Adam. His knowledge is fantastic as is his manner. I can't wait to come back for another tour when next in London 👍👍👍
S. W.
We appreciated the professionalism, and the well-planned tour. I actually felt that I knew about Kensington by the time the tour was done.
I highly recommend London Tours.
f. l.
Lure of the Underground virtual tour with Fiona was Brilliant "Walk". Well presented, carefully researched and very interesting tour. Fiona knows her stuff and is keen to tell the story. Technology worked well and online you can see things not able to on the real walk so you lose some but win a lot.
B. T.
Adam was great. Well paced, informative and engaging. Shame that he had to wear a visor which may would have made it difficult to hear him had our group been bigger then the 5 of us.
M. C.
A loyal fan for years when we are in London on vacation, but SO excited to see them branch out to do "virtual tours" now via Zoom. You still get the "live" conversation and ability to ask questions, you still get to "meet" people from all over the world, and the guides are actually going a little deeper into their walk topics in their presentation, adding graphics and video clips. We did a few last weekend as a family and gave ourselves a "virtual" vacation!
E. U. (.
Before the pandemic, I went on a few of their live in-person walks and was very pleased, educated, and entertained. After a year of not being able to travel, we had the bright idea to see if there was a virtual walking tour available....and there was! It was such a delight.
The tour guide was knowledgeable, kind, and entertaining. The materials that he showed were great, and in some ways it was even better than the live tour because he could show us up close the different maps and historical tidbits that then allows us get an even deeper understanding of what we were seeing.
It was a pleasant and enjoyable "walk" and while I didn't get much exercise on our virtual stroll, I did feel mentally refreshed and invigorated. I would highly recommend the virtual walks to anyone who misses traveling, who loves London, or who enjoys getting those delicious tidbits of history that a great tour guide knows how to reveal at just the right time and in just the right way. We will return virtually (and in-person!) to London Walks!
S. B.
I joined Russell Nash for the Scandalous Mayfair virtual tour last night. Very well presented and delivered. Most enjoyable. I also did one on Old London town and found that extremely interesting.

The Westminster walk with Karen is excellent. She is extremely knowledgeable, keeping our attention over two hours, mixing wit with information, answering our questions, and guiding us past some of London’s most historic buildings and interesting neighborhoods.
J. M.
I have been on a number of London Walks. The guides are all very professional and well informed and point out all those things of interest that one would otherwise have missed. Best £10 I could spend for two informative and entertaining hours about my home town.
C. R.
"Beatlemania" Virtual Tour hosted by Adam was jam packed with facts and fun. It takes you back to the Swinging 60s when everyone was cool and hip.
And what a playlist! Thank you Adam for a Fab tour
C. C.
Had an absolutely amazing time on the Old Westminster tour! Lovely atmosphere, extremely informative, and very entertaining! This really is a brilliant way to explore the city.
r. b.
Great and very informative tour, very relaxed. The guide was really engaging, funny and above all knew his onions on subject matter (bonus point). In a measure of scale the tour was that good even my 16yr old regulation miserable, dysfunctional son enjoyed it. Thank you Adam.
S. B.
I was delighted to find ‘Disastrous London’ as a choice of walk last week, with Andrew Hallet, and it was simply wonderful. Over an hour of top quality information delivered through technically brilliant (to me) methods, including music. I will now try to go there and find some of the places mentioned, but more important will tell everyone I can to log on and enjoy a first rate experience, even had a quiz!
Sheila,Batchelor
J. B.
We have done three of the virtual tours (Old Westminster, the Underground and Kensington) and they have been excellent - as good as the ‘real’ walks. It’s a great family event during the lockdown, especially from overseas.
H. B.
Had a most excellent virtual Pink Floyd tour from Adam. Full of detail and fun images. We enjoyed it very much.
A. M.
Loved our Hamstead walk today. We learned so much about this part of London.
C. D.
Andrew Hallet's In the Footsteps of Matthew Shardlake Virtual Tour was beautifully and thoughtfully presented. Excellent use of maps and images of the Tudor period. Interesting background information to both Shardkake and Sansom. Highly recommended.

This is it! A mini vacation! You wake up and think it’s going to be a normal day but it’s not as you decided to go on a virtual tour with one of the most famous guides in London! You've picked your destination and what you want to see and you don’t even realize its a personal tour with someone who has spent 30? 40? 50? years honing their knowledge specifically for this instant and the best part is you are all sharing in the same experience. You know when you go on a tour and there’s always somebody hogging the tour guide or being the first upfront and trying to stand by the guide and claim all of their knowledge? THIS doesn’t happen as everyone's equal! Everybody gets a chance to be important and listen and have all of the attention and all their questions answered! AND! wherever you are you can celebrate with your own libation in your PJ’s, sweats or whatever! as you can be behind a black screen where no one sees you! How FUN IS THIS?? I’ve gone on 4 VT’s but many walking tours in and this is the second best thing. So get out of your world! I swear it will change your day! Maybe week! and you can ask your friends to all book the same tour or have a private tour? Anything is possible but all you need to know is these are the "London Professors” the best of the best! and you are invited for a nominal fee to join in their passion. Oh! and have pen and paper available as you will want to visit these haunts when you arrive. Happy travels!
S. J.
Great tour and Adam is a great guide, very knowledgeable and will always have an answer to obscure questions. Great way to spend a couple of hours.
J. J.
We did the the Along the Thames Walk with Chris. It’s was very interesting and enjoyable. Would recommend. We will definitely be doing some more London walks.
S. S.
Thank you David for a wonderful and informative morning (USA 11:00- DST) with a virtual online walk of Kensington, London, England. The use of the maps and slides with your expertise, gave us places to see when we can get back to traveling. Frank Woolman & Sue Sholtis
S. G.
A thoroughly enthralling walk, the only downside was not being able to enter one or two buildings, but that's down to the times! Adam was superb!
S. H.
A really enjoyable and informative tour of Fleet Street. Our tour guide was very welcoming and knew his stuff! Excellent value,I would recommend this tour.
M. S.
