So much fun, highly recommend. The guys on board were fun and friendly, zipping through London to music blasting is a great experience. Went on the 40 min ride and was a good length to really experience it. When they thrash it after tower bridge, hold on tight!!!

Second time on the RIB experience, and although the weather was rainy, our guide was amazingly upbeat, and I've never laughed so much in ages. Hurtling from the Thames barrier to Tower Bridge at 40 knots in torrential rain, with a James bond soundtrack, with the accompanying flapping of 8 transparent ponchos, was a sight to behold. Worth every penny!

We did the Embankment to Canary Wharf with commentary. Great time on the boat that was a mix of humour/educational before hammering it after Tower Bridge.. Kids loved it!! Was £206 for 2 adults and 4 kids..

Brilliant experience... The guys piloting the RIB and pointing out the sights were excellent and very funny. Fantastic to see a different side to London and very exciting when the engines open up just the other side of the amazing Tower Bridge! Superb and highly recommended.

What an experience! If you're over London bridge way I 100% recommend you do this! Need to book ideally prior to arrival, lots of different trips to do! Really really fun morning zipping up to canary wharf! Worth adding don't worry about getting wet because you don't 👍

They give you a bit of a guide about the places you can see from the river which was interesting. But when you get past Tower Bridge they pick up speed and go really fast all the way to the Thames Barrier and back. We got very wet but that was mainly due to the rain and not spray they give you a poncho to wear if you want one. Brilliant fast fun experience

Booked it with 1 hour to spare. The lady at the ticket counter was really accommodating and made sure the speed boat came back after it left, as there were 2 spaces left. We're really glad we done this amazing experience. What an ideal way to see the famous landmarks of London within 40 minutes. Really professional and funny tour guide. Made it entertaining. The trip through Tower Bridge, the escape from the O2 and seeing the Thames Barrier up close, superb. A BRILLIANT MEMORABLE TRIP. A fantastic way to see London. We have done the trip a few times with Jack Petchey Winners and we love it. Yesterday we did it in sunshine. Today in pouring rain. BOTH were so much fun. Today we were given hooded rain ponchos to protect us and I would say don't let bad weather put you off as it was in a funny way, better in bad weather, because it was so memorable. We just embraced it. The staff are always extremely friendly, with funny and interesting commentary. AND every time we have gone the commentary has been different, so we have learnt different things each trip. SO thank you from every one at Anstee Bridge. Hope to see you next year.

If you want to do something extra in your day out in central London try a 75min Thames Barrier Experience 👌🏽 The good hospitality of the staff will guide you through the history of London's famous buildings while listening to some music jams from the 90s to 2000. It's a good fun day out for the family while going at high speeds on themes waters 👌🏽

My boyfriend surprised me with this experience at the weekend and we had the best time. It was such good fun and it is a great way to see the sights. The only disappointing bit was the fact that the video and photos were "lost" and weren't available to purchase on the day, which is a great shame as I was looking forward to a laugh watching it back.

Our trip up the Thames to Westminster was cancelled and we were offered the high speed 007 trip to the Thames Barrage instead. Absolutely fantastic! Great fun bouncing over the wake of the ferries and slaloming around the river where it opens up wide. Lots to see out East too - old pubs and warehouses, Canary Wharf, the dome, huge housing schemes and then the barrage, which is beautiful. The captain explains how the barrage works but the rest of the trip is tunes and exhilaration. No one in the boat got splashed at all - in August you might get away with wearing a t-shirt if you're tough but I wore a hoody. When we got off everyone had the widest smiles.

I'm a Londoner and see these boats racing down the Thames & always wanted to give it a go. I did the 40 minute blast to the Barriers.... wow. It's 5 hours later and I'm still buzzing from the adrenaline. We had choppy tides for our ride which just added to the adventure! There is no better way to travel through London. It was a fun, fast ride and admittedly a bit hairy at times but these guys are professionals and made it a seamless experience from start to finish. I LOVED it!! Worth every penny.

My wife's colleagues gave her a ticket as a leaving present. She enjoyed the guided tour as we navigated our way up the Thames. Once we got to quieter waters, the tour guide sat down and the captain took over. That's when the screams started and I had a blast! Literally a white knuckle experience, my hands went numb they were so cold!

Great day out. Last time I went on it I took my 14yr old daughter and 80+ yr old mother (a Mother's Day present that happened on Father's Day!) They both really loved it. It's really convenient to get to either by tube or riverboat.

This is one of the best touristy things to do in London even for a "local". Super easy to get to and find as it is literally directly opposite embankment tube station. 20 min to Covent Garden so can go for a drink and something to eat afterwards but not before! This is truly rapid and playing the James Bond tune when going past MI6 or is it MI5 was a great thing.

My wife's grin and mine were just as big! Definitely the highlight of this trip to London so far and a must do if you can manage the cost (40 minutes for 2x adults and 2x kids =£146) Go on, you're worth it

Beat all my expectations. We took an exhilarating ride to the thanes barrier and back, reaching spreads over 35mph once you are out of the city. Within central london the guides picked out London landmarks for us to see. Awesome trip.

Excellent trip. My friend and I did the Embankment to Canary Wharf ride last year. The skipper was very funny and knowledgeable. They have a good sound system on board and the fast part of the ride is a lot of fun, it is really fast and thrilling. I was going to go again this year but due to a slight booking issue, I had to cancel and ask for a refund. Although the company wasn't obliged to refund me, they still accepted to do it. Very professional of them. Excellent phone manner and respectful of their customers.

We did the short and sharp 20 minute ‘blast’, which I’d recommend: no point in stretching the experience out unnecessarily. Take a seat, they give it the beans, to the left, to the right, up and down, splash, splash, screams from the back, howls of joy from the front, the grand history either side of the Thames rushes past and you’re done. It’s an exhilarating trip and one that kids and adults will both enjoy. Don’t take Granny though - jet boats and arthritis don’t mix.

Brilliant way to see London - and I'm a Londoner born and bred! Awesome music and very funny and excellent commentary from Andy and Tom. Highly recommended. Would do it at least once a month if I let myself. I took a friend from Ghana as a surprise to show him London and he loved it. Good for all ages. And especially James Bond fans!

Wow, this was fantastic fun! The commentary was really interesting and our guide had a great personality. I wasn't expecting the boat to go that fast as we took the Embankment to Canary Wharf trip and I know that boats have to limit their speeds in this stretch of the Thames as it is so busy. However, 35 knots seems pretty fast when you are in a RIB. The music added to the fun. I was a bit 'oh how naff' when they started up the James Bond music but it was actually a nice touch. When we got back to Embankment Pier everyone in our boat was cheering and applauding. I can thoroughly recommend Thames RIB. The staff were really friendly, the trip was great fun and felt 100% safe. I can't wait to book myself onto the O2 to Thames Barrier trip. That boat goes at full throttle!

Friday 3rd Augi @ 1345 - Thames Barrier trip. This was a birthday treat for my son and I which my sister had bought. We arrived early and confirmed with reception our trip, very friendly and polite no trouble. Explained we would return after grabbing a drink,young girl advised to Q in Boat 1 area on return. Back shortly afterwards watching the to and fro of activity...a well oiled operation which inspired confidence of good trip. A safety briefing explained how and why on lifevests on the jetty. All secured we were ushered down and greeted by our crew Steve & Richard. A swift review on safety as we moved off. We were advised on the format of the trip our route and differing speeds to expect and when. Throughout our host revealed history landmarks and many more interesting facts. Having grown up and lived in London it was a well scripted and polished performance, suitably impressed. Time slipped past and in what seemed about the perfect amount of time we were approaching the jetty to disembark. Clearly this made possible by our superb crew Steve & Richard. The entire trip was smooth but very fast and enjoyable. Two highly skilled crew adept at handling this powerul and agile craft and commentary througout. I cannot recvomend this trip more highly, these guys really know what they are doing and do it very well. Thanks to all a fantatsic experience...might even be back for more!

Brilliant Experience - Great Staff - Great Time 4 of us went on this in February, all the protective gear was provided, guy doing commentary was excellent, did the 50 minute trip with the bond music. You need to be there about 15 mins early for the breifing and to get the gear on. ( For the reviewer who said they were 10 mins late and the boat had gone ...) Correct, same as any departure Ryanair Easyjet just coz you cannot get there on time why should others have to wait for you ?
