We had so much fun on this return trip to Greenwich from Westminster. The guide was hilarious and well worth tipping afterwards. We had lovely clear skies so went on top deck, lots of room (we did this at the end of January), but on the return journey we wen inside and honestly the views are every bit as good. Bar was good and reasonable prices. Everything amazingly efficient and clean. We could have got off at Greenwich and had an hour there before coming back on another boat but chose to remain and do the journey back pretty much immediately. All took two hours in total. Perfect way to spend the afternoon. Highly recommended. I am impressed how inexpensive the tickets were too!

Decided to give this boat ride a try today. Overall an average experience. The commentary was a little monotone and the constant stops along the river wasn’t to my liking. I guess if you are a tourist it’s not bad as you get the commentary and learn about London history and significant landmarks. I’ve been around the uk and tried boat rides in wales , Scotland and they are better in my opinion. Food and drink was over priced as expected. Was it worth the money ... hmmm .. nah not really but hey I tried it out 😅

40 minute boat tour on the river Thames from Westminster to Greenwich very nice experience, learnt a lot about certain buildings along the Thames and the history behind it. One thing I would say if you do go make sure you have cash as there is a bar that has snacks and drinks which only accept cash.

A fantastic alternative way to see the city. Would highly recommend the evening cruise as the sunset around you giving a beautiful look on the Thames and other landmarks like the London Eye and the Tower Bridge.

We had a brilliant time sailing down to Hampton Court with Andrew and the crew! The trip reminded this ex-Londoner (who now calls Sydney home, ) how beautiful the English countryside really is! It was great to see all the sights of the city at the start of the trip but my favourite part was exploring the countryside beyond. Andrew's commentary was entertaining and full of fun facts and there was the perfect balance of speaking and silence to enjoy the ride. There's a bar on board with drinks and snacks. My tips - arrive early for boarding as the boat fills up quickly, bring a jacket or sunscreen (depending on the weather,) catch a boat in the morning if you want to make the most of a visit to Hampton Court and don't forget to tip the crew, they certainly earn it! Oh and eat before you sail or bring some snacks for the ride!

Thames River Sightseeing (TRS). If you come to London and look around some tourist areas near Big Ben and the monument to the RAF. You can complement your trip by sailing around on the Thames River in a comfortable and full of the glass windows on the big boat. What they offer is seeing London City from the Thames river and having a different perspective compared to drive a car or riding a tour bus. I took the longest route from Westminster to Greenwich cruise takes approximately 1 hour, while a return cruise takes 2 hours in total. But you can take another shorter route if you like. It's a unique and interesting experience.

A great view of London from the river but the experience was spoiled by the man giving the commentary. Although he pointed out a few interesting, lesser known places and provided some historical detail, his overall style was one of cynacism and negativity - moaning on about London being ruined by property developers. Unfortunately we had to listen to him twice, both to and from Greenwich. No tip in the silver bucket from us. We would have paid him to keep quiet.

Great value for money hour long river boat tour from Westminster to Greenwich. Open top deck for fair weather days and spacious seating area below deck. Informative and amusing commentary throughout the trip. Normal amenities - clean toilets and well stocked bar for drinks and snacks. Search for discounts via Groupon for best value tickets. The cruise itself was lovely as was the commentry. However, (3 adults and 2 children) we bought tickets from the Festival stop to the Thames Barrier at 12.35pm. When we reached Greenwich we we were told to come back at 3.30pm for the Thames Barrier cruise. When we returned at 3.15pm we were told the last boat for the barrier was at 1pm and directed to the ticket box.. who couldn't do anything but tell us to go back to Westminster.. and at Westminster no one was willing to help and told us to come back earlier tomorrow, something we can't do. We gave generous tips to our commentary guides.. but overall feel ripped off as we were encouraged to buy tickets to the barrier by staff at festival stop who didn't seem to know boat times as neither did the crew on board.

We purchased tickets for the BMA river cruise, this was done with a travel by rail 2 for 1. Nice boat comfortable seating. A very well organized trip up and down the river. Staff were friendly and helpful also efficient in there duties.

Very nice open top boat. Aesthetic, easy on the eye - and a nice steady pace downstream on a scenic route. The experience is greatly enhanced when a guide is giving some background on the sites passed. But that's not always the case, which can make it a little boring.

The Thames clipper runs to schedule and the journey on the boat is very good. The land crew heard the passengers like cattle, and make no concessions for elderly or disabled. They are generally sub-standard customer service. Be warned if you are not physically able to stand for up to 15 minutes in the cold or extreme heat. Although there are benches, you will not be allowed to sit on them once the land crew have decided you need to queue.

Taking a boat on the Thames and seeing London from the river is a must-do for any visit to London. There are many different variations that you can take to make this happen, and TRS is a great option if you want to combine travel and sightseeing. We used their services from Westminster to Greenwich, and then from Greenwich to Tower Bridge on the way back to Westminster. Friendly staff, Britishly humorous commentary, and drinks/snacks available for purchase on board. Be careful when you're at the piers, since there are several operators, and you want to make sure you are on the right boat!

Not sure if the right company. We went from Greenwich pier to Tower Bridge. Choice of deck or inside. Inside was very nice and warm. It was very busy. There was a cafe with hot drinks, cold drinks, and sandwiches: expensive so I'd recommend bringing your own but it's good to have it there. The toilets were very clean as though they clean it between each passenger . Baby change was available

The price was only £11.75 with your oyster card return from Westminster pier to Greenwich last boat leaving from greenwich was 6pm. Which gave us lots us time to eat and drink and Greenwich park. We were staying in London and we had a trip on the Thames from Westminster Bridge to Greenwich The boat we were on was clean and we had a choice of sitting in the cabin or on the deck, for the time of year the weather was perfect for sitting on the deck, and the return trip left Greenwich on time

Oh boy where to start. I’ve organised an Event for my Egyptian friends on the Valulla Last Sat, a party of over 100 people. Started the day a bit hectic couldn’t find the pier and had to shift everyone and our food and drinks to the correct place (all on me really) but once we found our way the boat was fantastic! Big shout to Paddy from Reeds river cruises. There is no one better to deal with he is absolutely excellent and have provided an outstanding service. The trip was out of this world! The weather was perfect and the staff on the boat were super friendly and helpful.. Top peeps! And Dave!! Dave is the captain of the beautiful Valulla. Dave has gone through a culture shock in few hours, he was both hilarious and absolutely amazing. It’s very hard catering an event for different cultures and mine is a loud and bright one! We love to party and to have a good time but all in our very unique Egyptian way and I believe we were Dave 1st true authentic encounter was us aliens from planet Egypt But I hope he gets used to us because we are planing on coming back. Truly and honestly, if someone planning an event on a boat I hope you make the right choice and go with this company. The best. I sure was happy, and every one of my 100 guest were super happy. This is well worth doing - on the way up we were on the smaller boat and had a right cheeky chappie doing the guide which made it most enjoyable On the way back we had the larger vessel which had a good bar with a good selection of drinks Highly recommended

There are several ways to travel on the river in London as a passenger. One is the counil provided boat bus system, and the other is Thames RIver Services.

I wanted to celebrate my 18th birthday on a boat and Paddy from ThamesRiverBoats helped me a lot to achieve that. My birthday was organised in less than a month, in about 20 days but in the end it was exactly how I wanted it to be and couldn't thank Paddy enough. The DJ was amazing, and so was the whole atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this company to everyone to make your night memorable!
