This was for hubby’s birthday and was absolutely fantastic. Very professional, very informative and a great experience. We had team Richard and Stacey and they were great fun. Learnt a lot about the places we saw, Stacey made it so interesting and funny. Felt very safe whilst in the boat. We were on a 5:00pm booking and were treated to some beautiful sunsets.

A must if you are in London. Thrilling, exhilarating, funny and informative. 50 minutes of some of the great sights of the city with our tour guide involving everyone on board. Then once you pass Tower Bridge they open the throttle as you hurtle towards Canary Warf, weaving around on the river, at points thinking that you may turn over. The driver was amazing and the thrill was out of this world and a proper buzz. Its suitable for most ages and the children in our boat loved it 😊 If you go in the cooler months get wrapped up, it does get cold as you whizz along the river. I absolutely loved this and would definitely do it again. The price is reasonable for the experience that you get and should not be missed. Have a blast if you go, we took some great video footage and the crew are keen to take photographs of you too.

Wow what an excellent brilliant outstanding experience. Celebrated Glenns 51st Birthday with the lovely Stacey and Brad. Stacey was absolutely outstanding I laughed every word she told us. Brad was captain and he didn't disappoint. If you have see the speed boats on the Thames please have a look near the London Eye and BOOK IT!!! ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT 😂👍👌

Amazing experience! Was there as a birthday treat from the misses and was blown away, a great way to see the city and great fun for a RIB ride! Tour guide Mark was hilarious and knowledgeable and skipper Chris' skills with the boat were awesome! We were greeted by a friendly guy who's name I can't remember (but if it helps he's been paddle boarding in Bali and has a Spanish wife) who was very warm and inviting (if not already given away by the previous brackets). Overall it was a fantastic experience and I would recommend to anyone, definitely will be doing it again!

Really good. Great mix of fun, sight seeing, excitement and laughter. We had Bill and Brad. They shoot along the Thames (after Tower Bridge) and you get to see all the sky scrapers, riverside and more. Bill was very funny and informative. Would definitely recommend, it was better than we all expected. All our family loved it (mum, dad, 13yo boy and 10yo girl).

I have been with my 22 year old daughter to london twice this year and both times have been on the Thames rocket . What an amazing experience , a must for all visitors to London. So many of the London sights to be seen form the river . High speed fun , what a laugh with such friendly crew Brad and Bill were our crew. So funny , but knowledgeable of the city sights too . We just wanted to say what a fab trip we all had last week! It was better than we had even imagined and a favourite with all of our family (2 adults and 11yrs & 9rs). Our teenagers had a blast! "That was SO much better than a museum!" they said, which is high praise from our too-cool kids. We zoomed around at high speed, enjoyed pumping music, lots of jokes and trivia. The crew were cool, funny and laid-back. We had a great laugh. The grown-ups loved it too. I highly recommend this to groups with older kids/teens/20-somethings who might find other tours a bit snoozy. It was definitely the big highlight of our week in London.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Being not able to swim and scared of boats/water this was probably the best thing I have done ! From start to finish, I was lent a coat to keep extra warm, we had a laugh, sang happy birthday and was given a really good explanation of sight seeing from Geoff ! Highly recommend this experience. This was one of the best cruises I've been to, had a lot of fun when the boat speeded up. Richard was the driver, who was fantastic at it, giving us the best time of lives and Colin was our instructor who was hilarious and great with the tour. If you're looking to go on a fun-thrilling cruise across the River Thames you have to book this regardless of young and old. You will certainly the time of your life. If you have a celebration coming up during the cruise, don't forget to tell them.

Bloody amazing! The tour guides we're really friendly and genuinely funny guys. Enjoy a nice smooth ride through the may city waterways before the powering up and jetting around, all accompanied to a backing track of power anthems and feel good music. Great for all ages. If there’s one tourist attraction to do in the capital, this is the one! Definitely top of my recommendations to my friends. Yes it’s not my first time and definitely not the last! Don’t let the weather put you off. Even when it’s dull and grey it’s the best way to see the sights! The staff are so welcoming and friendly and have all Covid secure precautions in place! You start with a gentle ride up the Thames past tourist attractions where your able take some photos and find out about the history of our River, buildings and Bridges. Everyone sings along to the music playing! Once past Tower Bridge it’s full throttle to give you the adrenaline buzz. I recommend taking the full trip up past Greenwich to the Thames Barriers! You won’t be disappointed! Let’s just mention the mulled wine at this time of the year just gives it that added touch and you get to keep the cup as a souvenir! 😀

Just caught the last trip yesterday which was really fun. The actual ride was so much fun. Fast, furious and great to see the city from the river view which over never done. Even in winter it was really fun. Just come dressed warm. Other than that.... The whole boat ride was one thing and Bill the tour guide was the superstar of the trip. Visited the Thames rocket experience around Easter of 2019. Fantastic experience from start to finish, the guides were superb and we learnt some really interesting historical facts that you'd never hear on land. The boats themselves are just incredible, so much fun whizzing around on the Thames with great music pumping out of the fab sound system. Highly recommended, so much so that we're going again this year🤞🏼

Having lived in London most my life this was a really great way to see the city differently. Me and my friend did the 50mins original one which had one way going through the Thames whilst Rob our host told us some really cool facts about various locations we passed, and he did it in an entertaining way! Then as we approached canary wharf they banged on the tunes and Phil our captain sped up and did a few fun turns before returning us back. It's a fun 50mins which I would recommend anyone try at least once. I'll probably do the 40mins one at a later date too. Hats off to all the staff! A lady I spoke to on the phone whose name I didn't get sorry, she was lovely and helpful ... To Brad, Phil and most definitely Rob our host! Robs hilarious and kept it fun and interesting! Whoever does the recruitment at this place nailed it 👍👍

This started off with a very informative and funny host who gave us some history of the city and the buildings you float past. We were up close to the HMS Belfast, and got great views of Tower Bridge as we went underneath. Once we passed the police station beyond Tower Bridge, we were zipping through like Bond chasing the latest super villain! Our captain had us zigging and zagging all through the river, right up and past Canary Wharf while music played on the loud speaker. Although we had some great speed going, it never felt unsafe and we never had to hold on. Also, no one got wet, so we just had fun. They even gave us a drink on the journey back where we enjoyed a sunset. Highly recommend!

For a first timer expetiencing a boat trip, i habe got to ssy this was by far the best experience ever super fast speed boat adventure which lasted 50mins and had a tour of all the top london landmarks through a speed boat. Oh WOW.... where do I begin, what a phenomenal and breathtaking experience! We had the most thrilling time as a family on Saturday on the Thames rocket boat and thoroughly enjoyed the different sights and the guided tour. My son didn’t stop smiling the whole time and he was so happy. It was a really interesting tour and the boat was huge fun and the views were brilliant. Max was a great guide and Nick was a great skipper and made the experience so memorable and enjoyable! The most amazing time and we cannot wait to experience again! London sightseeing on a speedboat is a must do! I went for their Christmas experience and absolutely loved it. This includes Christmas songs, mulled wine or Ribena and you can also keep their branded reusable cups. The staff are very entertaining and the boat tour is so fun, especially when it goes full speed. Great adventure for families, couples or friends, highly recommended!

Picked this boat cruise because of it's added thrill seeker extra! I took the 50 minute tour, starting at the London eye and reaching Canary wharf at it's furthest point. Great tour guide giving facts on famous landmarks on the river and history story's of London's bridges. After cruising and the talk the captain sped us up the thames weaving across the waters at high speed. Fantastic experience and a great and different view of London. Highly recommended.

We had Joe and Simon on what was a brilliant ride. Joe was our guide and he was very friendly, funny and professional about his job. Simon steered the boat and once he opened it up out towards Canary Wharf, it was exhilarating! Super skill!! Hi We just want to say a big thank you to Joe and Simon for our amazing Thames Rocket Experience. It felt completely clean and safe, we felt our safety was of high importance. Our son Alfie turned 18 this week and this was one of his gifts from us. After a year of Covid restrictions, A-levels and the thought of going off to university in a few short weeks we felt this might be fun. Wow...we were entertained by stories and facts about the buildings scattered around the Thames. Then we experienced the high flying speedboat journey which was completely breath taking. Looking over at both my boys throughout this ride I have not seen them smile from ear to ear for such along time. They just did not stop smiling and this made me reflect on the tough year they have both had and how mature and grown up throughout the year they have been. We did the ‘license to thrill’ and it was amazing! It started off slow and steady with our guide Ross (who was very funny and helped the atmosphere hugely). However at a certain point the boat really took off at full speed and was a LOT of fun! The bond music was a very welcoming touch haha

What an awesome attraction. Total must for London trip. Our party was a group of 8 from 7 years to 40 ish. Everyone loved it. Our guide was Stacy. You have hit the jackpot if you have her. When I booked the trip I thought it would be one of those we’re going to get you absolutely soaked trips but to my delight found that it’s not about that at all. They operate a no soaking policy and instead it’s about giving you some really interesting information about the area and then giving you a really fun ride accompanied by an awesome soundtrack. The guide Dave was really informative and genuinely cared that people had had a good time going as far as thanking each guest personally and also giving suggestions about other things to do/places to go. Have to make a shout out to the pilot Doug who got us around safely. Would definitely recommend it and hope to do more trips in the future

We took our dad for his 75th birthday and we had Bill (commentating) and Brad (driving). A great duo indeed! Bill was incredibly knowledgeable & very funny and we learnt a lot about the buildings, bridges , places, history along the Thames. Brad, clearly very experienced in driving this boat was brilliant too and did fabulous twists & turns at speed go up and down the Thames! Much more exciting than a slow cruise and very safe! Tried this recently to celebrate lockdown easing and could have been more impressed! They tear down the river so fast once you pass Tower Bridge and it's so much fun with the music playing and everything!🔥 The team are all super friendly and even taught us a few things about London that we didn't know (despite living here for 7 years). Entertainment in the times of Corona! Last weekend I got to try out the new social distanced procedures and took a speed boat ride down the Thames. It was a bit cloudy to start out with, but very warm. We had a beautiful views, a fun tour with quirky details of the area, and of course a speedy trip! With there being very few people around on the Thames, it was a great ride! The new procedures in place mean there's less people on the boat, groups are boarded separately, and plenty of hand sanitiser is provided. They didn't give us the usual jackets due to Covid restrictions, and life jackets are thoroughly sanitised after each use. It felt pretty safe, if a bit odd, but what doesn't at the moment!

I booked the experience. Got checked in and away. We had a nice stay trip to London Bridge seeing sights like the Shard, Tower of London etc. After tower bridge we could speed up, unfortunately due to a mechanical problem with the second engine we couldn't do full speed. We did have fun on the way back with our guide,embarrising two ladies by singing Happy Birthday vigoursly. Customer services have been great in issuing a voucher to retake my Trip. My wife and I were in London to celebrate our Golden Wedding anniversary. We had booked the Thames Rockets as part of our trip, and we were certainly not disappointed. It was a fantastic trip on the Thames. The guide Kîllian was very funny and knowledgeable, when he knew it was our 50th anniversary, he made it a very special trip. As we passed under Tower Bridge he got the other passengers to sing a happy anniversary to us. Nick did a grand job driving the boat with all the twists and turns. After boarding the boat Chris and Mark guided us down the Thames past HMS Belfast at a leisurely speed but then the music on board changed and then all hell broke loose. Supercalifragilistic Experience Well, wasn’t I one of the lucky ones last Thursday the 4th of November. Why, you may ask. Well for my son's 18th I treated him to a Thames Rocket trip as part of his birthday gift. Sadly Covid hit and as such his treat got curtailed. Finally, he could do it after 18 months of waiting. Initially his girlfriend was going to go with him but then declined at the last moment, believing it may have been more due to fear of the unknown then anything else. But hey, her loss was my gain. We were greeted on board by our host Joey and our driver Brad. Equipped with safety vests we all eagerly awaited the moment when the boat could be pushed to its limits, once we were clear of the police and the speed restrictions we were free to let rip, and we let rip we did accompanied by a great soundtrack to the exhilarating adrenaline rush of the ride. Brad sure knew how to make that boat fly, dip, twist and turn. I have to say that it was without doubt one of “the best” experiences of my life and I would do it again in a heartbeat. In fact they kindly provided us with a discount voucher and I’ve already got my eye on another trip with them. On our return back to the docking station, Joey (sounding somewhat like Gary Barlow) enthralled us with numerous anecdotes and interesting information that we didn’t previously know. All in all they were a charming pair and I would thoroughly recommend this attraction to anyone (anyone who is not afraid of either boats, speed or water that is). Keep up the good work, look forward to joining you again, hopefully soon,

Was our first time here and we had a great time. The staff were very friendly and kept all customers company throughout the boat ride. The boat was steady cruising for a while but by the middle section, sped up and it was good fun with corners taken. Great piece of driving by the driver and everyone seemed to have a good time. We chose the thames rocket ride (James Bond) as part of a group of London theme activities and this was probably our fave! We rode with Brad (driver) and Max entertainment. Both great and Max was very funny and knowledgeable of London. It was great to sit in the power boat, touring London from another unique perspective seeing stuff you will never see (bit like the London eye). Learned new facts which were interesting. The cruise along is great but you build up to the fun part along with music blasting out (but too loud for those who don't like loud music don't worry fuddy duddies) and then the fun begins......well done TR's lads, you delivered!

Just got back from our London getaway, with this experience being the absolute highlight of the whole trip. We had booked on and anticipated this trip for a little while now but it totally exceeded expectations. Our guide was Mark (with a K!) and I don't think I've ever had a better one in any of the tours me and my travelling husband have ever been on. My husband (who was responsible for booking the trip) was well within his right to get jealous, Mark was so knowledgeable, full of interesting facts (not just arbitrary dates and places), and funny, not to mention easy on the eye! He made us feel safe the whole trip, answered all our questions and had our sides splitting. Make sure you ask for Mark when you go! The driving was brilliant too, I cannot remember the driver's name, but the twists and turns and speed was thrilling to say the least. We sped past boats, over waves and had a brilliant time. I'm pretty sure even my husband screamed at one point too! Absolutely the highlight of our long weekend in London, couldn't recommend this highly enough. FIVE STARS!

Took the ride back in Sept with 5 family members as a 40th birthday surprise and it was excellent. In our group the youngest was 7, oldest was early 70s and had a couple of "scaredy-cats" too but everyone loved it. I live in London so know all the sights but this was a more tongue in cheek guide, funny and interesting in equal measure. I would say the guide was really talented, funny not cocky. You travel a long way down the river taking in a lot of the City, it's great to connect the dots. We didn't get to the thames barrier which was a shame as I've always wanted to see it and others I know who had taken the tour said they did. But that didn't take the shine off. When the boat picks up the pace you're really moving! Such a thrill, we were all in hysterics, great fun. There's a bit of spray but you don't get wet-wet, its not like a log flume at Alton Towers! It's an hour of fun and thrills, no boring bits and the staff are top notch. I would suggest getting an early ride if possible as it might give an idea of what to see later by foot. I would also say, because you see so much, it takes the "sightseeing pressure" off so you can actually relax and enjoy the rest of the day. We followed our ride with a 4 hour lunch! Overall, a really memorable event to mark a special day and something for all ages and dispositions. Worth saying, COVID precautions were taken seriously. The boat was cleaned after each ride, it's all outside so well ventilated and there's control when boarding and disembarking. Thanks Team Thames Rocket and keep up the good work!

We were briefed before heading off regarding safety and what to expect on the the tour. We were checked on during the tour by the lovely staff as we had our newborn Noah who is just a month old with us. There was some fast and bumpy parts of the tour but I felt completely safe as Noah was strapped to me and there are bars to hold on to. Booked this experience for me and my dad. Was the best activity I done in London and I live here! The guide was numerous and polite, the experience itself was breathtaking. We went on the hottest day of the year when it was like 38c and being on these 600hp rib boats just topped it. A couple weeks later I went on the city cruises equivalent, they were shoddy and horrible. No care was taken, no effort or attention that Thames Rockets gave.

I recommend the Thames rocket as a great experience. Our guide, Tom and driver Nick were both brilliant and made the experience that much better. It is a bit bouncy but not enough to unsettle our coffee and pastry we had before hand. We arrived 15 minutes before our ride as advised for our briefing which was to be honest a very short I ate on how their life vests work. Tom (our guide) said it was mostly for people to put on wet weather gear if need be. We visited in August in London’s 2018 heatwave so stood around finishing our coffee and making small talk. The ride was 50 minutes with approximately 15 minutes of speed as advertised. The slower part of the ride was filled with our guide telling us fascinating nonsense about the sights. I mean that in the nicest possible way as you could live without the information but much of it made you go, “oooh, I didn’t know that!” to you partner. I live in London and much of it was news to me. My wife and I really enjoyed the ride and loved the new way of seeing the Thames. We have done a Thames dinner cruise and other boat tours of the Thames before but recommend this above all others if you had to pick one!

You really should try this experience, it's fantastic. It's fast, fascinating, safe but exhilarating and exciting. This experience was a birthday present from my daughter and her husband. The Thames Barrier Explorers Voyage, 80 minutes and it was marvellous. What a fantastic way of seeing London, from a different perspective being on the river. Matt started things off well welcoming us with his relaxed but professional manner, kitting us out with jackets and life jacket, and taking an interest in us. Upon boarding the boat which was safe and easy, our crew of Joseph the guide and skipper welcomed us, after a short briefing, we were off. Joseph was brilliant with knowledge and enthusiasm pointing out places of interest and landmarks, all seen from a different perspective from the water. Past the speed limit, the ride became a fantastic exciting high speed journey you've got to try, all to a soundtrack, yes, you do feel like James Bond. Arriving at the barrier you learnt about it before further thrills at speed back to the start and more interesting sights. We enjoyed this so much I recommend you ride with Thames Rockets, they're brilliant. I awoke the following day thinking about the brilliant time they gave us. Thank you to them all, a great team.

“This is a MUST for all visitors to London!!!!” I cannot speak highly enough of the London RIB Voyage experience and the team that make it all happen on the day. Having two young boys we did have some initial reservations about the speed of the RIB, but safety on board is excellent and the equipment provided (life vest, wet weather jacket etc) of a very high quality. The staff were very attentive and made sure we were settled into the boat before our trip. When out on the water the guide provided and very informative and funny commentary as we made our way east along the Thames. Due to the river's speed limit, the boat cruises gently from the boarding point at the London Eye to just past Tower Bridge which gives ample opportunity to take photos and generally enjoy the sights of our fantastic capital city. Once clear of Tower Bridge the high speed part of the voyage begins and this bit was absolutely brilliant. My two boys, aged 8 and 10, had smiles from ear to ear and haven't stopped asking when we can go on the fast boats again. This section of the journey takes you all the way out to Canary Wharf and involves high speed turns and wake jumping which was very exciting. This is a fantastic way to spend an hour whilst in London and I really can't recommend it enough!

Bought tickets on a whim for my boyfriend and myself during a weeklong trip and this ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Dave was a hilarious guide and Ian was an excellent pilot. Once you're out of the 12 knots zone, they turn on the corny jams (honestly, loved it) and blast you down the river at 30 knots. Had a wonderful time and would absolutely do it again.

The perfect experience for thrill seekers and London lovers alike, but be warned the "fast" section was a lot more thrilling than expected so not for the faint hearted (or pregnant). The first 10 or 15 minutes you meander east past some of London's most famous landmarks with knowledgeable commentary from the Thames Rocket staff...which it times is a bit cringe but enjoyable nonetheless. Then around Wopping its full throttle towards Canary Wharf, and honestly this was way more exhilarating than I expected, they really go for it! But as long as you can handle the mild fear of falling into the Thames its a really fun experience all round.

What a fantastic way to see London other than on a bus! This thrilling tour takes in some of the big sites and landmarks of London and it's all thrown in with speed and laughter. Our guide Mike (who's been on many TV ads apparently) was a great host and had us entertained from the start. It's fun for all the family, couples, Stags, hens or just for the heck of it! The whole experience was excellent - the man who checked us in was very nice and offered to take pictures. The guide on the boat by the name of Dave was informative and incredibly funny, my friend sportingly wore a birthday badge which had been noticed - Dave enthusiastically lead a happy birthday song, this made my day. The "fast" bit of the trip was fabulous - Ian the driver aimed skillfully at the wake of other boats making it even more exciting!! If you find yourself in London and have an hour to spare, then you REALLY need to get aboard 1 of the London RIB Voyages boats. From the minute you step aboard you will love it. The first part of the voyage is a guided tour of the Thames with fantastic facts and history of everything along the river delivered with great wisdom, facts and humour. The ride then really comes to life once you pass Tower Bridge where the speed restrictions are lifted and the thrills begin. Accompanied by a great soundtrack the boat goes into overdrive as you speed along the Thames. I have now taken this tour 4 times and am looking forward to my next outing. Highly recommended!

2 attractions for the price of 1. With the Thames Rocket you get a guided of all the sights along the Thames. The tour guide is brilliant and has a great sense of humour and will tell you details that even me having lived for 10 years in London did not know about. After passing Tower bridge you will get attraction 2: the thrill seeking ride, with load music to go with the action. The zigzags accross the Tames and the ultra fast breaking will have you thrilled. This is is an absolute top attraction to do when in London. Recommended.

An amazing experience, probably *THE* attraction in London! Starts just under the London Eye going east with a moderate speed (due to speed regulations). However, soon after passing under the Tower Bridge the skipper lets loose this monster speedboat and the madness begins with a thrilling top speed, crazy side turns and lots and lots of fun! On the way back, the speed returns to sanity and the boat guide supplies funny and interesting information on the London highlights passing by. The tickets seem pricy at first, however with the "2FOR1" British Rail discount they actually become affordable, just need to call ahead of time and book a ride over the phone.

These RIB boats are absolutely awesome as they are extremely quick. This has to be one of the most incredible ways to sight-see various famous landmarks around london in under an hour! The medley of music pumping out of the sound system is extremely cool way of complimenting the ride! Our crew consisted of nick as our captain and geoff as the commentator. Geoff had us in stitches with his hilarious puns and unique way of teaching us the history of london. He is definately a credit to the company! Well worth the money! Just make sure you go on a day that is predicted sunny weather or you will be soaked to the core as we were out there during a thunderstorm! Other than that, definately reccomend!!

Definitely the funnest thing you can do in London!! Coats for when it's cold and wet, wind and water for when it's hot. They think of everything (including a cheeky gin if you fancy). We had an amazing experience today with Geoff & Nick on the Rib cruise, would definitely recommend it for all ages 😀 👍🏻 Geoff was super funny, interacted with everyone on the cruise, told us the history on the Thames and the buildings around them 👌 Nick had no fear when it came to showing us the speed that the Rib cruise rocket could go!! 😁 felt safe and would love to do it again.
