We booked a Christmas Lights tour of London with Visit London Taxi Tours for family who were visiting the city. We had a wonderful evening, the views were spectacular and our guide Andrew was very knowledgable and friendly, while also giving us time to chat amongst ourselves in the back. The tour was fun as you can bring your own snacks and drinks, and it felt COVID safe as the front of the cab is sealed off from the back. We'd thoroughly recommend for anyone visiting London, or even locals who are looking for a bit of a different take on the city! :) We also received excellent service from Cheryl with the booking process, she even went above and beyond to help us get everything sorted during their team Christmas lunch!

These guys literally saved the day for us. We were let down with a couple of hours notice by another firm for a Christmas lights tour. This was part of weekend plans to also celebrate our sons birthday. From the moment I spoke to Cheryl in a panic, it was clear she really wanted to to get a tour sorted for us, and she did. Alan our driver was superb, knowledgeable, accommodating and friendly. Just an amazing experience and worth every penny.

We visited London for a whirlwind three days and chose to hire a pre-arranged taxi to maximize our site seeing time. Initial communication with Visit London Taxi Tours was with Cheryl and from the first email to the last of many, she was wonderful! She was patient with my many questions and itinerary changes for weeks before our arrival, even before I had committed and made a deposit. We scheduled a tour by night for our first evening in London and it was wonderful. Got an overview of the main sites and several wonderful family picture opportunities at sunset. We also had a transfer to the Harry Potter Studios from city centre and then arranged last day, a pick up from hotel to Windsor Castle tour (he waited with our luggage) followed by a quick trip through Winchester which was lovely ending up dropped off at our Southampton cruise port. We had two drivers, Yiannis and Andrew, and they were both wonderful. They went out of their way providing interesting information along the way, helping with family photo's, and getting us where we needed to be in a timely manner. We would never have been able to see all we did in the time we had but for arranging the tour and transportation! The taxi itself was lovely as well, with a clear glass top and it even fit six of us and luggage comfortably. Very pleased with the ease dealing with this company from scheduling to meet ups and happy we decided to pre-arrange and go for the night tour. Thank you for helping make it a wonderful visit!

Above and beyond the best. My wife and I traveled to London in December 2021. Mick picked us up at Heathrow. He was right on time and gave us a great transfer to hotel even stopping to get our then required covid test. Dave took on on the most fabulous night tour. Just can't say enough about how great Cherly is from planning to executing. We had several tours planned and then we got a false positive covid test and had to quarantine, Cherly even offered to have food sent to our hotel for us. We so look forward to planning future travel with Visit London Taxi Tours. Thanks everyone.

Four of us booked two taxi tours for our stay in London in early December. They both exceeded our expectations. The first was the Christmas lights tour after dark. Karen our guide gave us a spectacular tour despite torrential rain. The second was a secret London tour with Dave as our guide who quite simply has encyclopaedic knowledge of all things London . He shared all his secret London knowledge and inspired us to want to return and find out more. We couldn’t have wished for anything better

Fabulous Boxing day tour with Alan and Yiannis. Informative, friendly and fantastic camera men. Were happy to stop at random doorways so we could grab that Instagram snap 😊 We got to see some of Londons hidden gems. Would highly recommend.

My colleagues had their tour with Barry (or as they affectionally call him 'Bazza') and absolutely loved the time spent with him. "Barry was a great addition to our team tour around London on Wednesday – he was incredibly professional, witty and friendly from the start. He did his upmost to make sure he was delivering what he had been asked to do whilst also being safe and efficient in where he was taking us to. He joined us in part of the fun on our journey and we had a free history tour of London in between from him which was great! Would thoroughly recommend him as a driver and also the service going forward – thanks Bazza!"

We were recently in London for a layover on our way to Barcelona. As my children had never been there I wanted to show them the town, but I was worried about getting back and forth to the airport in time for out connecting flight. This was the perfect solution. I can't rave enough about this tour. It was amazing. Before we even arrived Cheryl answered all my questions promptly and courteously. Sam, our guide, greeted us at the airport and, even though there was a crazy storm, he brought us to all the sites we wanted to see and gave us such interesting information he even managed to keep my teens engaged after a red eye flight. It was such a fabulous way to begin our vacation. I would give more than 5 stars if I could.

My girlfriend and I had an incredible time on our London By Night Tour! Cheryl was amazing from start to finish. She was incredibly helpful and always so quick to respond to all enquiries! It was a seamless and straightforward process. Our driver Simon, was exceptional! We booked a private Christmas lights taxi tour in central London on the companies website which was so straight forward and easy to use! I very soon after received an email from Cheryl thanking us for our booking and give us extra information about the tour such as our taxi drivers name which was really helpful. Our taxi driver phoned me up a few hours before the tour just to confirm the time of the tour and where we would be picked up. He also provided information of where we would go and asked if there were any other sights in London we would like to visit as he would be more than happy to accommodate. Our taxi driver Steve was such a brilliant host, he made the experience so enjoyable with his knowledge and stories! He even had Prosecco and mince pies for us which was such a lovely touch. Overall the experience was brilliant and I would highly recommend this tour, worth every penny as well!

What a wonderful way to see London! London Taxi Tours, with our guide Alan Taylor was terrific. Alan is an experienced Black Cab driver and not only is well-versed in the many historical highlights of London, but can also give you the totally unique experience of seeing all the areas that tourists don’t often visit. His knowledge and ability to traverse London traffic made our time with him fly by as we traveled through all the suburbs, parks, past monuments and glorious architectural wonders. We saw so many places that bus tours never see, and could ask questions and learn about all the wonders we were seeing. Because we have some difficulty walking for any distance, we would have missed so much, if not for Alan. It was fantastic to have someone pick us up and take us back to our hotel rather than having to find our way to a tour start and get back on our own. He was able to escort us to the perfect spots to try some of the local cuisine and experience the “real” London flavor. We were fortunate to take 3 of the offered tours, and each one was unique. Being able to see London at night was breathtaking, a full daytime tour of all the historical areas gave us a full overview of all the famed London sights, and the “Secrets of London” tour took us past homes of great figures of not only history, but literature, music, and art. If you want to truly experience London and only have a few days, you would love this service! We left feeling like we had made a friend as well as having a wonderful time in London!

Had an absolutely lovely evening on the Christmas tour of the London lights. Our tour guide Stephen was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We were provided with mince pies and prosecco which was a lovely touch to our tour. Stephen was very accommodating and stopped whenever we wanted a break, to take photos or just stretch our legs. He also took some group photos for us. Would definitely book again!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Our experience was exceptional. Our driver, Morris, was charming, extremely informative and demonstrated a vast knowledge of all things London. His ability to bring that to his tours makes this a must for anyone visiting the city. Cheryl is very efficient, pleasant and thoughtful when working with you in scheduling the tour. I arrived in London on a layover from Athens & since we would be in London for 16 hours we decided to take advantage of the time . We were picked up from our Hotel @ 7:20am . Although we were having difficulty with the speakers Our driver Barry was a great tour guide. He went above & beyond to give us the sights we wanted to see & a surprise by taking us to Abbey Road 🤩 I am planning on coming back sometime next year & to spend more time roaming this lovely country. On the tail end of our honeymoon we ended up with a nights layover in London and had the pleasure of a tour with Alan. We had a further drop off point, a later start time, but still easily coordinated through their admin team to quickly book an amazing experience. Insightful, conscientious and professional. Alan had the polish of a seasoned London vet and provided some of the most beautiful sights in London to us, making every effort to fit our directions. “No tour is ever exactly the same”. You want professionals who provide a service at a high level of quality, but you also need to have their flexibility for above and beyond returns. We really did have a fantastic tour. It was a girls day out and we wanted to do something different. We learnt a lot about London, great stories and history and saw some parts of London and sites we never new existed. Favourite parts has to be cross bones grave yard, Guild Hall, the Kings Wardrobe and parts of Roman London. Would highly recommend this taxi tour company. Our guide was both knowledgeable and personable.

We only had time for a 2 hour tour and once we started wished we had longer. Whizzed around London with family and will all had a great time, saw most of the iconic sites and a few unknown gems. Will rebook this next year for4 hours. It's a must do if you want to see london via a private tour.
