I have recently booked a hike to the top of Kilimanjaro through World Expeditions. The booking experience was very straightforward and the communication could not have been better. I booked quite last minute and everything on their side was very clear and timely - which made it for a stress-free experience. Thanks for your professionalism! The trip was not World Expeditions exclusive, which means it was done by a local company. I think it is great that World Expeditions works with local companies to fulfil their trip. I really enjoyed being able to connect with local communities and hear about the story of Tanzania. African Walking Company was great - the atmosphere was safe and friendly, yet serious about the risks. Guide, assistant guides and porters/helpers were all extremely helpful and enhanced the experience from start to finish!

Remote Northern Flinders Ranges (AUS) Camel Trek showed me the red, rugged heart of our country while removing all the chatter of life, leaving me free to walk, think and just 'be.' Ryan, the cameleer has an amazing affinity with his camels. It was a trek worth doing again.

I went on a trek to the Himalayan region of Nepal. World Expeditions organised everything, from the flights, to the food and accommodation. We had guides and sherpas, all provided and the itinerary was second to none. I went with a grup of nine other friends and we all agreed that World Expeditions made it the holiday of a lifetime for every one of us.

Travelled with W.E. several times end of 1999-05 when they were a much smaller company. Had a great experience on all trips. However, in. more recent years since they have swallowed up numerous companies I notice the pricing has really rocketed when compared with other established companies. As with all others the trip lengths have evolved into shorter more annual leave size lengths, no doubt to cater for the lucrative bucket list market. All very main stream though a sign of the times. Prior to lockdown I was interested in one trip but at a price considerably higher than other reputable competitors and with no explanation as to why I gave up. I appeared to have travelled with them in better times.

World Expeditions did me proud. I was taken ill after two days into a six day trek in the Annapurna foothills. World Expeditions’ staff were brilliant in getting me to a hospital where I was well looked after, and then facilitating my enforced return to the UK. Even though my holiday was over, World Expeditions’ local staff continued to check in with me every day, first in Pokhara and then Kathmandu. Their willingness to be at hand, whenever I needed, did wonders for my peace of mind. I have no experience of other trekking companies but based on the way World Expeditions looked after me during my time in Nepal, they must rank amongst the very best.

Ever since taking my son up on the Aguille du Midi when he was 7 we always wanted to climb Mont Blanc. 13 years later we set about planning to do it! We have just returned from a fantastic, unbelievable experience thanks to World Expeditions. From booking the trip almost a year ago, until returning on Sunday (30 June 2019) we have had excellent communication, guidance and support. Any query that we had during preparation we just simply emailed Ryan Graham (UK) and he promptly got back to us. The trip itself ran like clockwork and the itinerary we had received prior to the trip was followed diligently. The build up to the final ascent was well planned and allowed us to get used to the altitude and become competent with the skills we would require. The icing on the cake was when we summited and got to spend an hour taking in our achievement, half an hour of which was on our own! Brilliant experience. just completed the ' Twin peaks of Ladakh' trek/ climb, very tough going but what an outstanding place, scenery like no other on earth, the staff who catered for our every need were outstanding, from the horseman who carried all our gear to the chefs who provided superb food in adverse conditions a big thank you, also to our guide Pradeep who was the ultimate professional. Would definately recommend World Expeditions, a wonderful experience which won't be forgotten, thanks once again.

Hi Catherine, Having returned from Mount Everest Base camp trek I feel compelled to write a review . From start to finish the trip excelled. A special thanks to our wonderful guides. They exceeded our expectations and I can't thank them enough. So a big shout out to Randeep, Dhurber and Santos who led with patience wit and drive.They were a force to be reckoned with and through their knowledge experience and friendliness it made the trip the amazing experience it was. Also a big thanks to our sherpas and cooks who were an integral part of the team. From the onset of our journey it was an excellent experience. Hotels and eco lodges were top class. I had a good time climbing mont blanc . The guides were o.k. and knew their stuff , i could mention a couple of negitives but you'll get these on every trip .I would recommend World Expeditions .
