We had one day to see Manchester and bumped into Gareth outside the Central Library who had just started his 2-hour tour. We joined the group as he was so interesting. Good knowledge, great sense of humour and we could easily hear everything he said. Thoroughly recommend him to anyone wanting to learn more about Manchester, its history and its character.

I had no idea what to expect on a "free tour" but this was incredible. Gareth was incredibly knowledgeable about Manchester it's history and culture. The tour was just about the right length although I could have listened to Gareth for hours. He is personable and I felt like he really tried to get to know each of the people on the tour and even gave me some personal recommendations of places I would enjoy after the tour.
