K. W.We took a GWR train from Paddington to Cardiff during the 2018 Christmas holiday. We had a great time with the 1st Class tickets. However, we were a little disappointed we weren't able to see the Queen Victoria's reception room in the Paddington Station. Eventhough we had to take a bus for some of the leg of the journey due to the rail upgrade it was a smooth transition.

A. C.Good service. Little too cold in the train. People without reservation always take your reserved seats and u need to struggle to explain them. It’s not my job. I booked and paid. The seat should be waiting for me.
M. A.Good railway company with good services and routes. The Bristol to Plymouth line runs on time and is good value for money if you book in advance. Its also scenic too especially near Newton Abbot next to the sea/estuary/River.
L. G.I caught a train from Chippenham today and got off at at Swindon and forgot my 40 yold Honeymoon leather holdall ! Inside one hour, only, 4 staff mobilsed and got my bag returned from Didcot, so that I could go back to Wales, the next day ! . GWR staff on Help Desk pushed the Train out for me, not the boat ! Lol and
so I bought treats for them and for the guard on the Chippenham Train who had to locate my holdall ! Lol Thankyou to you all ! you are amazing ! We all get first class service when we travel with GWR all the way West or East !! Love Denise x

K. P.The GUARDS are wonderful they want to help. Saw a woman in a wheelchair say to me you go ahead I waited 5 minutes to transfer from a Southern train. The guard turned up opened doors after getting a ramp thing out and she was first off and unbelievably kissed his hand for looking after her. On the platform she explained the guard told her whatever she needed he you help. I am impressed with GWR if only the London Paddington staff could help.
Z. A.Scenic route, good seats, good temperature settings, toilet reasonably hygienic. Slightly unclear seating arrangements. However would not recommend travelling Xmas eve (busiest day of the year).
