The buses made a wonderful backdrop for some photos too. Nothing to fault at all. All the guests loved them, even those that wouldn't normally dream of travelling on a bus!

D. D.A quality service. The double decker was immaculate throughout and perfect for our daughter’s wedding. The driver and assistant were extremely friendly and helpful.
Our initial concerns that we were a distance from their base in Wales were totally unfounded. They arrived in plenty of time and contacted us a few days before the wedding to finalise details and put our minds at rest.
This is a very professional outfit, and was one of the main details of the wedding the guests commented on afterwards, with one guest already asking me for their details for their coming wedding.
We wish to thank Routemaster for helping make our daughter’s day so memorable. We wholeheartedly recommend that you use this firm over any other wherever you are in the North West.

G. S. A. T.We got married back in May and contacted Routemaster 4 Hire regarding a big red bus to transport our big clan! They had come highly recommended from a friend who used them a few years earlier. We were not disappointed...from the very first email contact David was friendly, professional and helpful! We required a very specific, complicated route...from our house on The Wirral, to St George's Hall, our venue, then to the Liver Buildings for photos, then Albert Dock for more photos of the whole family on the carousel, then finally on to our reception venue. David accomodated all of our wishes gladly, mapping out all the details well in advance of our day, and then, with jolity and patience, on the day too (which included the stresses of parking up a large red bus full of wedding guests, in tourist hotspots, on a very busy day in our gorgeous Liverpool city!!). He was brilliant! He was our conducter throughout the journey and was calm, freidnly and down to earth. We had drinks on the bus, singalongs and it was magical. A note on the bus itself...it was SHINING red...gorgoues inside and out...the seats were lovely, it did not feel old, it fely like true vintage made new. Everyone loved it! It turned heads as we drove around the city...possibly the best red bus I have ever seen...and it was ours for the day! We were so happy and all our guests were blown away! We took the option to have a personalised blind made for the front of the bus and this looked fantatsic too, excellent quality and reasonably priced for such a lovely touch and momento (she literally took a Gamble!!). After the wedding, we were allowed to keep the blind, and although we forgot to collect it in the kerfuffle of the day, we got were told we could collect a few days after from the Routemaster4Hire premesis and, once again, David provided wonderful customer service, directing us to the secluded bus garage by phone when we got lost (even though he wasn't on site). He goes above and beyond for his customers, clearly loves his job and is a geuinely lovely fella. Bottom Line?... If you are contemplating getting a bus for your wedding/event and you are doing what we did (running round, getting confused, finding varying prices from them all, stressing out, contemplating going with the cheapest...around £400-£500)...don't go with the cheapest, we nearly did and we were SO glad we didn't (the bus will be tatty, and may even breakdown too)... Just go with Routemaster4Hire, you won'r regret it... Their prices are competetive and actually, for the quality of customer service you recieve, the quality of the bus and for fully accomodating your needs, they are probably underselling themselves! If it's your wedding day!!!...you want it to be magical...you want it to go smoothly...you want a gorgeous bus...you want friendly people greeting you...you want professionalism throughout...you want people taking care of the annoying stuff so you don't have to worry about anything...David did that for us and, rest assured (clearly from all these other brilliant reviews) he does it week in week out for everybody! It's a no brainer. Five Stars are not enough! We're even thinking about getting divorced just so we can get married once more and do it all again!!! P. H.We had to cancel our wedding 3 times due to Covid. I asked David for a refund on the bus hire and he promised us that once the business was back on its feet again he would process the refund. True to his word we received our refund recently. It has been very hard for everyone during the pandemic but especially smaller businesses. Give David a break people and be patient. I only wish we could have hired the bus and given you some business but it was out of our hands.

Booking was simple, itinerary all confirmed by email, contact made to confirm before the event, booking even included a closed top bus in reserve should the weather have been aweful.
Superbly kept bus arrived early on the start time, courteous bus conductor (who really looked the part) gave everyone an authentic ticket for the ride as they got on. They were happy to change the route as needed and worked effortlessly with the third party entertainment I had provided to compliment the bus journey.
Feedback from my guests was that this journey was the highlight of their day! Being taken around the city centre gave a unique perspective of Chester too.
If you book this experience, I don't think you will be disappointed.

V. R.I always wanted a traditional red bus for my wedding transport and I spent 6 months looking for the perfect bus. I viewed 2 other bus companies and I was shocked at how filthy they were!
One of the companies showed me a bus and it was covered in cobwebs and had a cat living upstairs..!! The other buses I looked at has graffiti scratched into the windows.
However, when I viewed the Routemaster 4 hire the first thing I noticed was it was absolutely spotless. It smelt fresh, it was beautiful inside and so shiny - I was completely sold. They also had the topless bus! Although we decided that with all the ladies hats - it might be a risk..
The bus company agreed we could have procecco and beer on the bus and Justin did an absolutely fabulous job running up and down the stairs keeping everyone hydrated.
My husband and I chose to ride on the bus with our guests and I'm so glad we did - it had such a party atmosphere and everyone was getting in the mood, we also had chance to have a chat with our guests before being whisked away by the photographers at the venue.
They also kept a list of all the guests to check off who had got on the bus - which was very helpful.
I also want to add that when we booked we got a discount for paying in advance which I appreciated.
Overall we were extremely happy with the service and couldn't have asked for anything more.
My advice would be, I've done the research into many many routemaster companies and I promise Routemaster4hire is the most professional, reliable and by the country mile the CLEANEST :-D
