Definitely worth the money at the moment because of the prices going up for gas and electricity. The staff are absolutely amazing and make you feel welcome. The internet is pretty decent and even the bronze rooms are decently sized.

So I’m currently living here and it’s amazing. The staff are so friendly and easy to talk to. They sort out all the problems and honestly are amazing couldn’t sing them higher praises. The rooms are lovely and the beds are so comfy. If you are looking for affordable accommodation then I would definitely choose to live here

The staff are so amazing! I cant thank them enough! They are always giving me the warmest welcomes when I visited the office and the accommodation is amazing! Would definitely recommend to people looking for a place to stay. The site manager is always so helpful.

Being at Abbey Lodge has made my uni experience extremely fun, the staff are one the most or the most helpful and amazing staff i have ever met. They extremely friendly, sociable and willing and ready to help you with whatever you need and they do a wonderful job with it. Honestly i can't praide them anymore 10/10 You even get a free bus pass to university which is about 5-10 minutes away by bus, so a lovely upside

I really enjoy living here for a number of reasons. The flats/bedrooms are modernly furnished and are ideal for the needs of students with great sized bedrooms and social areas with a consistent colour scheme. All indoor areas are always heated. The living room area is comfy and perfect for flat gatherings/films nights. Theres a tv in the living room which has great quality. There is more than enough cupboard and fridge/freezer space in the kitchen. There is also an eating island. There are plenty of plug sockets throughout the flat and bedrooms. There is a new double vending machine with very convenient items that you may need in an emergency. Toilet rolls, milk, toothbrushes, snacks, ready meals, drinks etc There is a wonderful outdoor social space with fairy lights which would be great for parties during the night time in summer. There are also plenty of other seating areas throughout the site. The hot water in the showers have never run out even though I'm sharing with 6 people. There are 2 showers and 2 toilets so I never have to wait to get access to one. There are designated smoking areas. There is a common room which is always warm and has many books and a tv, a pool table, table tennis and comfy chairs. There is always somebody helpful in the office whether we need to collect post or chat or report any maintenance issues. There is a bus that stops across the road from the accommodation which goes to the university and doesn't stop too far from the city centre. The bus is designated to Abbey lodge students only. There are also 2 convenience stores right at the bottom of the drive. Also a bonus is i have great flatmates who all get along. The only downside is i dont get very good service in the entire area as a whole (including inside of the accomodation) so there may be specific spots in your room which are best to make a call but this isn't a fault of the accomodation itself. One last thing to mention is that the rooms are a really really good price. The cheapest student accomodation price youll find in derby. Even the university owned accomodation rooms are ancient and overpriced. Living at Abbey lodge I am able to eat well, have a social life and save a lot of my student loan at the same time.

This place keeps a roof over my head and for a amazing price so I can be spending the rest of my student loan and clothes and alcohol. Beds are comfy and the kitchens are great! I really could not recommend it more than that.

All my needs as a student are met perfectly and the on site staff are amazing, never feel like i cant ask for help and always have good interactions with everyone around, definitely the best accommodation i could've chosen to live at whilst at uni 😊
