Perfect setting in the heart of Lampeter to host community events. Saturday was of course the food festival, a marvellous day out for all of the family, producers and artists alike. Normally the place famous for excellence in education.

An amazing university, from a parent's prospective high level of education and it is in a lovely small town - no night clubs and distractions! But more importantly the campus feels like family - friendly, caring of each other and safe Highly recommended, (as is the wool shop just down the road from the campus)

We stayed here for a week long course. Of course the accommodations are sparse, but that is expected and is reflected in the cost. The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The location is really great and the place is historic. The catering was also very good, although the food did get a little monotonous. One day they invited the public to come eat and server a full English roast. Very good.

I gave this review 3 stars purely because I didn't love it or enjoy my time there, nor' did I hate it. The lecturers are world class and are among the most well informed and enthusiastic individuals I know. It was a pleasure to be taught Archaeology by such amazing staff. However, the lack of resources; the general disregard for the teaching & support staff and just how taken for granted they are by the administration of the University spoiled this campus and ruined the whole point of University. The library also is underfunded and underused. Essentially the saying 'you have to spend money to make money' is completely lost on this campus. Stay for the amazing teaching and staff and that is it.

I studied at Lampeter for nearly ten years completing a BA in archaeology and anthroipology and a PhD in social archaeology. I found it a truly life changing experience in the finest possible way. Staff were supportive encouraging and knowledgeable. Facilities may not have been 100% cutting edge but have always been fit for purpose. The highlight was the atmosphere and quality of the student body. Lampeter strikes the perfect balance between a small scale community where everyone has time for one another whilst still being diverse enough to be yourself. I can't recommend it highly enough.

The campus at Lampeter is the oldest degree awarding institute in Wales, founded in 1822. Beautiful campus in a little sleepy town. Little stream in the middle of the campus, at the heart of the town of Lampeter.

(Translated) Beautiful campus, I was there for 2 weeks on a study holiday and I assure you that it is really well done. In addition to being surrounded by greenery, it is large and spacious, the rooms are not too bad, and the classrooms as well. Perhaps a little inconvenient the fact that the dormitory areas and the actual school are a bit far away, but a short walk never hurts. The food isn't the best, but not being in Italy you can't expect much. Although one thing I love was their savory breakfast, excellent! In general it's a nice place. (Original) Bellissimo campus, ci sono stato 2 settimane in vacanza-studio e vi assicuro che è veramente fatto bene. Oltre ad essere immerso nel verde è grande e spazioso, le camere non sono malaccio, e le aule altrettanto. Forse un po' scomodo il fatto che le aree dei dormitori e la scuola vera e propria siano un po' lontani, ma due passi non fanno mai male. Il cibo non è il massimo, ma non essendo in Italia non si può pretendere molto. Anche se una cosa che adoro era la loro colazione salata, ottima! In generale è un bel posto.
