Lived here for a full 2 years and couldn't recommend anywhere better! Laura and the team are always on hand to help with any problem big or small and are always there even if its just for a friendly chat! The rooms and facilities are all great and I have thoroughly enjoyed my time staying here!

I've lived at atlantic point for 2 years now and its been very accomodating throughout. The office staff especially Laura are lovely and always there for you, they go out of their way to help whenever possible and are always a friendly face when you need one. The rest of the staff including house keeping and security are friendly and nothing is too much for them. The rooms are perfect for the price with en-suite and double beds as well as big desks for studying. Would definitely recommend for students at LJMU as its the perfect location with amazing staff!

I chose liberty Atlantic point as my accommodation in 2019 when I came to Liverpool as an international student. It’s been great welcoming place ever since. Also rebooked again for my 2020/2021 academic year. The residence co-ordinator NICOLA HAYES should be specially mentioned as she goes above and beyond in making students feel at home and she is very helpful. The majority of the staff is amazing friendly and really helpful except for some who don’t really care and seem unhappy at the job. The location of uni is perfect if you are studying in the LJMU city campus, being a 5 minute walk. The surrounding atmosphere is really nice as well. About a 10-15 walk to the city centre. But there are several convenience shops with a small walk away. The rooms are nice and I have seen them replace the most of the broken chairs and mattresses upon request as soon as they can. So they try to make sure the rooms are good as brand new when the new batch of students come in. Talking about the price you would find Liberty Atlantic Point to be much cheaper than most of the other student halls. The security is really good, but I feel some of the security staff is trying to be more like police making the student halls like a school hostel specially in the corona virus time. They took the no visitor policy pretty much serious to a point it became very annoying even when the government has loosened the social guideline rules. Also the parcels were not accepted by the security booth so it was a stretch. They handled the corona virus situation very badly leading to a lot of unhappy students. So finally I can say it’s a great welcoming place to stay with a small set of setbacks that surely will improve.

I did no prior research into student halls around the Liverpool city centre district and chose AP because it was quick and easy. Despite the choir of seagulls during unsociable hours and the occasional nuisance of student parties before work and uni (to be expected in any halls), overall I’d say my two years at Atlantic point were reasonable. Very straight forward, on-site maintenance are swift and efficient, the price is what you pay for, but the standout factor that made my residence here was the friendliness of the office staff. Molly and Chloe go above and beyond their roles to deal with any issues present, have top quality banter and make you feel like you’re at home; despite when walking through the turn styles feeling like you’re about to serve a life sentence in a Cat-C prison. The friendliness I can assure is unparalleled to any other student halls office team and I cannot commend them enough. Francis on security is also a top bloke who goes above his responsibilities to make sure everyone’s safe and always up for a friendly chat. For these guys, I will honestly miss AP. Thanks guys! 65 x

The ensuite was decent for the price, however the price has increased now and it’s not worth it. The corridor smells grim by the end of the year. The bins outside overflow every week and make a mess. The reception staff are friendly and happy to help, as well as Steve from security. Would be worth the price increase if it had more amenities. It is close to uni, not so near to town. Ended up spending a lot on taxis. There are regular fire alarm checks and room inspections. There were events on sometimes. The rotating gates got annoying, especially when people are trying to leave in the morning. Kitchen is spacious with lots of fridge space and cupboard space. Soundproofing isn’t great. There are no lifts, so good luck if you’re on the 4th floor, that was the death of me :)

The staff and maintenance team are absolutely lovely, so I stayed here for two years of my course. Some things needed fixing with both my 1st year stay and 2nd (Broken chair, shower etc) but maintenance are quick to fix it. Only down side is the price but for what you get I guess it's good value for money.

Decent sized accommodation with clean En Suite and Kitchen. The location is close to both Uni and Town. The security makes you feel safe and the staff go above and beyond giving you the little extras. This is my second year living here and I highly recommend it.

Liberty Atlantic point has been my chosen accommodation for the past two years and i will be continuing to live there next year as well, its such a good place to live as i feel safe and supported all the time, the staff are so kind and always go the extra mile to help you out! The rooms are really spacious and comfortable and staying here as made me friends for life, so id really recommend staying here whilst studying at uni!!

When results came out, i went through clearing to cometo LJMU. I then got my details about student finance, where i seen that i was going to be on the lowest band of maintenance loan. I began to panic as I knew that I needed to use my loan to pay for my accommodation. upon looking at the website, Liberty atlantic point came up. I went through the photos and thought that it looked like a pretty decent accomodation block, so i rang. I was greeted by Nichola who is lovely!, she advised me on how to book. I came to liverpool early to see if i could get a job, and also bought some things for my accomodation at LAP. Taking it too LAP was brilliant, as they allowed me to put it in storage untill i moved in. The a few weeks later i moved in. I have had a blast living in this accomodation compound and it has been for the amazing staff here, who do their best to make sure that everything is up to standard. I enjoyed living here so much that i decided to book again for 2nd year and so far im loving it. Get to know security steve too! He is the nicest guy in the world! If your in a similar situation that am in, book your accomodation at liberty living (particularly in Liberty atlantic point. CHEAP BY PRICE, NOT BY SERVICE. 10/10

I have lived here for 3 year and will be doing so again for my final year of uni. Exceptional staff, Nicola & Steve being my favourites. Regular events eg BBQs, pre-drinks, etc. They usually match first years on similar courses in the same flat, which is a good system to allow friendships to build. Great location if your campus is Byrom Street.

Daughter is completing her first year and living here. Security guard at front desk is absolutely rude. Didnt allow us to help our daughtert o move in with all her stuff we brought from home (belfast). Had to park on street and use tesco branded trolleys to move her in. Very humiliating.

Went on a first aid course at the St John's ambulance offices . Good training, building well set out. Clued up trainers. We all need to support there efforts with donations. You made need there help one day yourself.
