It is a university good in research. The medical school in 2011 used the PBL teaching system which did not do a good job in equipping its student with sound and strong medical knowledge.

Here on a conference & people couldn't be more friendly. The campus is so clean & beautifully kept (the bits I can see) easy to navigate. There are loads of places to grab a coffee and food with a Tescos, Costa, Starbucks, Cafè Nero, Greggs, local sarnie shops etc, etc. Short walk up a little, medium, huge hill depending on how lumpy it is where you live from the city centre. Easy walking distance from the Premier Inn on Hanover Street if you are coming for an open day at either Liverpool or John Moores Universities

Such a lovely campus, although they have numerous. The staff and students I met there were incredibly kind and helpful. I also needed to visit the legal help and all the staff couldn't have been nicer. They were so helpful and I am immensely thankful to each & everyone of them.

Had an amazing experience for over two years. One of best universities in the world . Have an amazing academic staff as well as a non academic staff. Fantastic University, Great Engineering Department, Interesting Lectures, Career Studio, Canteen, Starbucks, Greggs, Subway, Tesco Express, Stationery Shop, Post Office near by in one of the small shops, pubs etc. 10-15 min to Lime Street Station or Liverpool Central, Mount Pleasant Carpark near by, bus stops near by.

I am currently a final year, undergrad law student and I have really enjoyed my experience in the uni so far. The lecturers are passionate about their subjects and are highly knowledgeable. The lecturers are always willing to answer questions and are very open to feedback, positive or negative and noticeable improvements have been made to the department through this system. For law in particular, you have to put a lot of effort to get a first class mark but that is, I suppose, the idea of the first class mark around the country to begin with. I love the city and I would not have changed my university choice.

I am a student at the university, studying MSc Software Engineering (Online). Based on my experience with the university, it is a World Class University. I receive positive detailed Weekly academic feedback (Weekly grades) in a timely response, and on other services offered. In circumstances where I needed urgent support, It was readily available !!! It is exactly what it says it is on paper! Very Impressive! I would highly recommend it to those that are out there.

The University of Liverpool is a great university for me as an international student. Maybe that is due to the fact that I did not visit other universities before applying. However, if any student wants to study in the UK the person should visit the school before applying because one can not rely on some edited pictures or videos.I would say that the university is okay if you love reading but no too much fun and groups to get involved in.

As a student of the U of L through distance learning I was amazed at the quality of training. The course was project management and went above and beyond my expectations in every area. This was an advanced course, so knowledge of the PMI handbook was assumed, yet covered quickly. After that ERP systems, business design, large construction projects, research methods, tacking and testing, modelling and so much more. I highly recommend these courses.

Good University with alot of international students and some top facilities, two libraries that are open 24 hours and a sport and fitness centre(limited opening hours particularly in vacation period and over the summer). Among the Russell group universities but the strength of the programme depends on the specific faculty and school you are attending. It has an open campus located in accessible area of Liverpool close to the city centre and most of the attractions.
