I stayed at Chapter as a Master's student. It was a great experience - they staff is friendly, the common spaces are all very clean, the newly renovated rooms are well designed and aesthetically pleasing! The BEST thing Chapter did was during the pandemic, for those staying the 2019-2020 academic year, they offered different refund schedules (ex: if you were staying, if you went home but your room still had your contents in it, and if you were able to move out by end of April). I got 50% back and it was incredibly helpful, especially as a student during such an unpredictable and trying time. Overall would recommend for undergraduate students! Just as a heads up, there are not many graduate students / community for them so if you're looking to make friends it may be more difficult since most residents are younger.

Chapter Kings Cross was a great place to stay when studying abroad! I felt safe and the location was amazing because it was so close to St. Pancras International Train Station and Kings Cross station. The area was very nice to live in! But, the building itself was not ideal. The elevators were ALWAYS broken so we had to walk up and down 16 flights of stairs. Even when the elevators were "fixed" they still didn't stop on every floor and you can end up waiting over 5 minutes just for an elevator to stop at your floor. The staff didn't seem to do anything about it other than hang pieces of paper that said they were "working" on it. Also, the laundry room was terrible. Half of the washers and dryers were out of service, leaving only 5 or 6 working ones for everyone in the whole building. It was also expensive to do laundry. The staff was kind of mean if you had a request as well. Other than those things, it was a fine place to live! The rooms were small but the common spaces were big and always had space to sit/hang out. I'd recommend staying there but there's no denying that they could definitely work on fixing the place up a bit.

In order not to display it as a fake review, I’ll acknowledge a couple of minor setbacks, such as ordinary household problems. But once again, on-cite and maintenance teams are always ready to help you, so there never were any really frustrating problems for me. As soon as i moved in i was greeted by both Kevin and Simona and they managed to upgrade my room for me within minutes. Kevin is the most helpful member of staff and always has the answers for every enquiry i had. In central London and easy to get anywhere in London given close proximity to Kings Cross station. Chapter Kings Cross is a pretty well put together apartment. The staff has always been friendly and is glad to assist you. Robert in particular.They even make events to have students come together and it happens pretty frequently, two or three times every month. There is a screen in the lobby that usually plays MTV video countdowns or sports but you can ask them to change if you ever want to watch anything. Or if you are more of a private person there is a theater room you can book. Maintenance is usually very quick. I've gone to them about three times and I always got the problem fixed within the same day. The rooms aren't very big so you won't have a ton of space as you'll be sharing with someone else. But the location makes the stay at Chapter very much worth it. I had a great time here and would recommend!

In 2018, I'd been there for 3 months and I loved the experience. Everything worked very well. The room size was excellent, the staff was very friendly (mainly Samantha and Robert who helped me a lot), it was close to my school and there were a lot of restaurants, markets and shops near the Chapter. Lastly, it was very close to the Kings Cross / Saint Pancras station from where you can easily go anywhere in the UK or in Europe that you desire. The only weakness was the cleanliness which could be better. If possible, I would like to go back there for another three months.

The building itself is equipped with great communal spaces including a game room in the lobby, a study lounge, nice gym, and multiple communal screening rooms and kitchens throughout the building. The rooms are quite small, but very clean and kept up well. The staff has been very helpful throughout the semester. Overall a good residence if you're looking for somewhere during your study abroad!

Staying in Chapter Kings Cross has been a great experience for the past THREE years! 💯 The members of staff are helpful and kind, making this place feel like home. The students here are very friendly and I was able to make great friends. So if you come to the UK and you don't have any friends, don't you worry, you will make them very quickly. The rooms are in a great state, as the accommodation continuosly puts effort in their maintenance & renovation. I have read some of the reviews here about slow repair times and I can reassure you from my personal experience that everything is fixed very quickly. There is a portal where you can submit the issues and track down their status - very convenient. Robert Zimnicaru always organises fun events for everyone to get involved and it's definitely something to look forward to throughout the year. Furthermore, he has helped me to resolve any issues. It is important to note that the members of staff are always happy to hear the feedback and act upon it! So if there is anything you would like to discuss, don't hesitate to contact the team as they genuinely care. There are also fun events in the common room which has great facilities, and, of course, an amazing cinema room! Chapter Kings Cross also has a fantastic gym. I wish I had more time during the academic years for all these facilities in the accommodation! 😅 The place is also very secure. In conclusion, Chapter Kings Cross is a great place in the heart of London with the transportation links to all places you can possibly imagine! Nice place. They try hard and offer nice free things like on Valentine's day they gave us free manicures and massages which was awesome. However, the maintenance people are awful. Lived a week with a clogged toilet and no one seemed to care or want to help.

Don’t get me wrong, chapter is a great building, in a PHENOMENAL location, this building definitely has its downsides. Nothing you can’t get used to though, except for one. The elevator software system. There’s 3 elevators, all solid elevators that move well so you’d think you could use them quickly and easily. Nope. You’ll hit up or down and watch as two elevators sit where they are, not moving or being used, while you wait for one to get move from the basement to your floor with three stops along the way. It is excruciating to watch and is the sole reason for missing a star.

Hi guys, I lived at Chapter Kings Cross one year and I' m currently living here. I have to say that the main thing that differentiates this building to others is the friendly and chilled atmosphere you get from people working here. I used to live in another accommodation before and, believe me, coming back home after a super busy long day in London every night and having a smile from the guys working in the reception, a laugh with the maintenance guy in the lift, it does make the difference of your day. Above all, I have to say that when I have a problem or an issue, I rely on Chantell, which is always ready to help you with a smile on her face and trying to make things working for you. She does this in a very professional way but also considering the importance of humanity, spontaneity and kindness. I don't know who the manager is but I think she definitely can be a good one due to her attitudes and her professionally always here for the clients.

Chapter Kings Cross is a mere 5-minute walk away from Kings Cross Station - a very central location. The building itself has been newly renovated and features all facilities necessary for students. It is a very secure building with 24 hour security. The culture is rich and very international, as residents come from a variety of countries and backgrounds. The double rooms may not be as big as pictured, but are clean. I encourage you to approach the staff at the front desk if you have any questions or any needs. I’ve been a resident at Chapter Kings Cross for the past 3 years and I must say that out of my whole experience here meeting Hajjo was the best part! Hajjo is a very caring, kind, helpful, cheerful, positive, respectful staff member who helped me several times. Although it is not a requirement for her to do so, Hajjo was kind enough to carry my boxes with me to my room and even trace all packages at the accommodation to find my missing package. Chapters kingscross is the best student accomodation in london, especially if you want to live in central london. In the morning the place is lit by Robert Zimincaru and In the evening by Bobby Jennings and Rehman Iqbal. These three will take you on a roller coster ride because the students are not social and they are stuck up all the time. Welcome to the jurassic park:)

Samanta is Brazilian and arriving at a place knowing that we have a person from our country working made me feel more relaxed. Besides being efficient, she is well liked. In this place I met people over 60 years old, but most of them are young, but that was not a problem for me since I am over 40, they didn't bother at all. I read some complaints in the comments and I would like to say that I didn't find my room dirty, there were no pets, there was no noise. It is not a 5 star hotel, so I think people don't have much sense of the reality of living in London. They want a bigger room in zone 1, very well located (1 block from one of the entrances to Kings Cross Station) and find the value of accommodation expensive. It is not expensive for the location. If you want something cheaper, look no further than the central region. This place met all my expectations. If I go back to study again, I will definitely stay at Chapter. Li alguma reclamações nos comentários e gostaria de dizer que não achei meu quarto sujo, não tinha bichos, não tinha barulho. Não é um Hotel 5 estrelas, então acho que as pessoas não tem muita noção da realidade de morar em Londres. Querem um quarto maior na zona 1, super bem localizado ( 1 quadra de uma das entradas da Estação Kings Cross) e acham caro o valor da acomodação. Não é caro pela localização. Quer algo mais barato deve procurar mais longe da região central.Esse local atingiu todas as minhas expectativas. Se eu voltar novamente para estudar, com certeza ficarei hospedada na Chapter.
