Incredibly knowledgeable and powerful sensei. Very experienced club and friendly atmosphere. They build you up and make you strong. I learned an incredible range of techniques and progressed quickly. As well as martial arts, you learn a lot of life lessons here. Ive grown in confidence since I joined.

Best karate club in London. If you want to get your fitness to the next level, strengthen your character and learn how to fight in the process - this is the place! The sessions are very demanding but you will see the results very quickly, so if you are after the most efficient way of self-transformation, look no further.

Daigaku Karate Kai is a great club to train with. Shihan Mulholland combines hard physical training with a deep, thought provoking knowledge of karate and, for the higher grades, some exploration of the spiritual side of martial arts. I would thoroughly recommend anyone who wants to progress their martial arts at any level to come down and visit us.

Shihan Gavin Mulholland, 6th Dan, teaches traditional Goju-Ryu karate but don't be fooled into thinking this is any old club. As should be the case for any martial art, the traditional teachings at the Daigaku Karate Kai (DKK) encapsulate all aspects of attack and defence, from stand-up to grappling to throws, as well as kata performance and interpretations. This is by far and away the best martial arts club I've encountered and would highly recommend trying it out. It's tough - very tough - but you will emerge stronger, fitter and a better martial artist than you would have thought possible.

This is the full monty - traditional karate that trains mind, body and spirit: full contact conditioning, kihon, kata, bunkai, sparring and realistic self-defence. Grades of all level from beginner to instructor, male and female, and all the way up to Shihan Gavin Mulholland, 6th dan. Weapons training is available at annual summer and winter camp including stick, knife and kobudo. Quite simply as good as it gets. Classes in Camden, central London. All styles and abilities welcome.
