Excellent educational institution for music

Fantastic facilities, and the staff are very friendly. Regularly have live gigs by both students and tutors, with a great variety of music. They also have a bar in their events venue in the building, which adds a nice professional feel - not what you'd expect from a music school! Should appeal to everyone! Also easy to get to from Southwark and London Bridge stations

Did the one year drums course in 2010 and had a great time.
Tuition is very focused with a clear aim to develop the students artistry and relevant skills rather than making them 'clinic' or flashy musicians.
The equipment is good and you can practise for 3 hours per day in booths on top of your other rehearsal time.
Skill sets taught are useful and relevant like harmony and composition so you leave being able to do more than just play your instrument. There are also lots of opportunities to get involved with other student projects like songwriting or production work which is really fun.
It's great to play real music with horn players and big line ups at the workshops and all the gigs (about 25 per year) are at real venues round London rather than the safety of the college.
I still have plenty of material from my drum classes that has kept me going up until and for years to come.
Recommended if you want an intelligent alternative to the rock and pop colleges where you get to play a lot, meet like minded people and be taught by some great musicians.

The MA in Creative Entrepreneurship is brilliant, it has only been one term so far and has already completely changed my thinking on how to look at life as a freelancer. It feels like we are on the crest of the wave and the research we are doing is really exciting. I would definitely recommend it!

It’s just a vibe place where you learn and get experiences at the same time.

LCCM was definitely the right decision for me in order to take further steps in my musical career. Welcoming staff, brillint tutors and great facilities. Not to mention the connections I made and musicians I got to know. I thoroughly enjoyed the BMus performance and production course. Highly recommend!
