I have been studying here for the past 4 months and it has been exceptional. We firstly done our Induction with Vivianne and she is very knowledgeable. Giving us a breakdown of what the course will cover and what is to expect with a level 3 Beauty Therapy certification. She also made us open our eyes further on things we can do as there are many things that we can do and we shouldn’t limit ourselves. Then our tutor Charlotte took over and she has truly been an angel also. Teaching us in detail and depth about electrical facial treatments and Body treatments like massages. Not only has the course so far been fun but also extremely educational. Teaching in such a crazy time must be hard but they both do it so well. This course so far has been incredible.... I will give my final analysis as soon as I am done in November. :) •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• As I said I will give my final analysis about the school as soon as I finish. I know this is coming a bit late as I finished in November and we’re now in February lol. So how can I put this in smaller terms; the teachers make up the school. Funny enough after Charlotte took over and taught us many insightful things (by the way Charlotte is fabulous) she taught us for a few months. And when we were just about finish I will say 2months into us finishing they changed our tutor again, which was so frustrating as Charlotte knew how we all learnt and loved to be taught. So I was a bit sceptical and I’m very vocal about how I’m feeling. I messaged Sophie and voiced my concerns on how they’re changing my lecturers AGAIN and my timetables for the 11th time. She responded and said if your education isn’t being kept up to the standard that you started that I should email her once I’ve completed everything. My class was then introduced to another tutor called Ursula; I kid you not, Ursula is phenomenal she really took charge straight away reassuring us everything will be okay and stayed on top of all our work making sure we were signing treatments off and completing consultations. In all I can say to you is that; the institution is a bit disarray but the lecturers and staff make up for it. Yes your timetables may change 70 times (exaggerated lol) especially when you finally get used to it. But the staff members make up for it by helping you locate your class. Yes your tutor/ lecturer may change 30 times over but every lecturer I have met in LCBT are wonderful Vivien, Charlotte, Ursula, Sarah, Ruth, Pauline, Camille I think that’s her name. They’re all wonderful and also you have an amazing individual helping them out ALEXIS. She literally keeps everything afloat. You’re greeted by amazing women at reception daily. You have the cleaners who help you out; Even the security guard Nkechi. I guess what I’m trying to say is this; focus on what you’re there to do and you will gain experiences for a lifetime. Also it’s the teachers and staff that make going LCBT great. The only issues are it’s a bit disoriented when it comes to the organisation of the courses and classes, which can frustrate you; but you can never let that get the best of you or what you’re there to achieve :)

I started my course on the 13th of September 2021 and am studying Level 4 advanced theatrical media make-up and hair. I have learnt so much so far in the space of three weeks being here such as: live casting, moulding, sculpting, how to create a silicone prosthetic and also adding colour to them too. I am thoroughly enjoying the course as its a fun, calm environment to work in with lots of support and guidance. The resources we use in class are of good quality and kept in good condition. I would definitely recommend this course to anyone with an interest for theatre makeup and prosthetics.

I started my course on 13th of September and i'm doing level 4 in hair and media makeup and on the first day we already started doing casts and all sorts. I like my tutor and what we do. we have learnt to do casts, make our own prosthetic pieces, moulding and sculpting. the resources are good but could be better.

I had a wonderful experience today with the London College of Beauty Therapy' s FOH over the phone. The adviser I've spoken to was Florence Meek. She literally was very supportive and provided me with all the relevant information regarding my enquiry. I couldn't be more satisfied following a phone approach of LCBT. Florence really has got and uses the "knowhow" techniques to dealing with the public's requests, and she also does all her best to deliver all that is necessary for the enquirer to know. Level 4 Hair and Media Makeup - My course started on the 13/9/2021 and will end on the 16/11/2021. So far i have learned how to do casting/live casting, sculpting, moulding and have been successfully making our own posthetics.

I am currently doing my Level 3 Beauty Therapy, and since the first day I have felt supported from my tutors, we have plenty of materials and tools to carry out every treatment with success, and we have all the resources necessary to cover the theory. Great place to study!... I studied beauty therapy L2 here during the craziness of lockdown. I honestly want to thank my lecturer Leyla and Gina from lcbt. I was so nervous on my first day as my kit and uniform was delayed. However, I was so happy Gina called me before my start date and was there during my first induction day she knew who I was and sorted everything out for me so quickly. She Really gave me the confidence. I would definitely recommend this college to study beauty. They have amazing staff and supportive lecturers on hand.

Our Tutor Sarah Kimble was amazing! very thorough and knowledgeable and ensured we all fully understood what we were learning before moving on. I felt totally supported by Sarah throughout my course and feel confident that the skills I have achieved will help me progress into a career in beauty. I would recommend this college to anyone interested in gaining skills. The admissions staff Jason and Sophia are very helpful and provide all the info needed and keep in constant touch to keep you updated. I look forward to continuing my studies in September and completing some short courses in the Summer. Chalene from Student finance department was also very helpful throughout my course offering support and guidance when asked.

I have been studying level 2 Beauty Therapy since June this year and have been loving every minute of it!! The level of support I have received from my lecturers and fellow students here at LCBT has been outstanding!! My course is 2 evenings a week which fits around my hectic family life and having researched other colleges locally, I found LCBT provided the flexibility I needed, but also provided a range of different services such as job shop & short day courses. I finish my level 2 course in February 2018 and can't believe how quickly my course is going in, it's really true what they say "time flys when your having fun" can't wait now to sign up for level 3, thanks very much LCBT for this unbelievable experience.

Just completed a L2 and L3 health and fitness course. I have to say it has truly been a great experience, a fun atmosphere and excellent teaching, combined with fantastic equipment and facilities helped to make this an extremely rewarding and enjoyable process. I had an amazing experience while studying at LCBT, really enjoyed the course and the staff, I've learnt a lot and I've got Level 2 and Level 3 Fitness & Healthy course - Personal Trainer. The facilities are great, as well as the venue at Shaping Change gym where we had our practice. Teacher Sandra is amazing and very motivational, she was very keen to help everyone, making extra effort to make sure our group had the best coaching.

The Fitness Level 2/3 course at LCBT was great! I have had the opportunity to work with amazing people who I can call my brothers. My Tutor Sandra Connor was very attentive and supportive, she also practice what she preaches! Go girl :)

I had a wonderful time here on a 5 month fast track adult course for Beauty Therapy Level 2. Sarah Kimble was my lecturer and she is fantastic. The JobShop - specifically Ellie Holbrook did everything they could to get me a job, and after 3 separate job offers I was able to select the best option for me. Whenever I needed help, the staff were here to do so. Would recommend, 100%.

Firstly, I never give full marks anywhere - that would suggest that what was being reviewed could never improve which is never the case. However, the Level 2/3 Health and Fitness course I attended early 2017 was very good. The Active IQ syllabus was covered in double quick time - 3 months material is covered in 8 weeks - by an (almost) always smiling Stacey in an amazing and inspiring location. I think she might have been always smiling had she not have had such a big group to contend with! Would recommend. :u)

LCBT helped me so much. I was retraining and looking to follow my passion in beauty therapy. The staff are helpful and gave great advice- and made me look at the bigger picture and do beauty first and then specialise in hair and media make up. Ignore some of the reviews as in my class 3 girls got expelled for bad behaviour- in my opinion they deserved it and It was right for the college to do so as this made my class so much better and everyone passed with good marks and I am now going to do my Level 3 media make up. 😃 Thanks LCBT and the staff even the security guard and cleaners are amazing

I found the course great and education and development received through tutors such as Gavin, Craig and Matt has helped me to progress quickly through the fitness industry. I currently attend LCBT. Im doing Level 2 Hair and Media Makeup. From what I see around college I am extremely lucky to have Caroline as my teacher, she helps everyone and listens to everyone. The only downside in being in this class is that the other lecturers are always asking Caroline to go into their class and show them how to do things, our teacher is so kind she goes and shows them for example the other day one of the other lecturers kept coming into our class asking when Caroline could she went and the other lecturer stayed in our class. I was learning to do heated rollers and she taught me the wrong way. luckily before I had done the whole head Caroline came in and showed me how to do it properly. THIS college is mainly for beauty and hair they provide the most for these courses makeup on the other hand they don't even have the proper chairs and all they go o about is health and safety when its the biggest hazard walking up or down the stairs. I have used a different name because this is just my opinion on the college, my lecturer on the other hand is a really amazing teacher who has experience

Hi I'm a student at LCBT myself. I started in the October, and even only being there for a few months, I love the college already. This college gives you the best possible start in whatever course you choose. I am doing hair and medieval make level 2. And even with the little experience I have I am able to give a full make over hair dying and blow dry, and thus was alla learnt from October. They also provided a job shop so I am able to get a job now and start my career now whilst learning. I will definitely be going to the next level. The people I have met here are also fantastic. This college doesn't just provide a great start to your career but also a great environment to learn.

A fantastic place to learn, especially as an adult learner. I felt supported at all times, and especially loved the hands on learning element of the course. What works well for myself at the LCBT, is that you gain your qualification quicker than local community colleges. Ready and rearing to start my level 3 in Beauty Therapy. Pros: Intensive course, short, 2-3 days a week, qualification looks great on your CV, guaranteed a job with LCBT qualifications, perfect for those starting out & trying to get into the beauty industry Cons: Be prepared as the course is quite fast, having just a day off in the month can really pull you behind. Finding models for some assessments can be difficult (for example ~ body painting), so be sure to have the support of friends & family outside of college. Some of the girls at the college don't appear to be passionate at all about the course they are studying (don't let them prevent you from achieving although distractions are difficult to avoid at times !). Some of the teachers often allow students to just "get on with it", and aren't very hands on when it comes to the practical units. I personally find this quite distressing when I find a particular subject hard. Financial support is difficult to get in contact with when there is a change of circumstances. Make sure you sort EVERYTHING before you come on the course as it really is a pain to do during the course. Hope this review helps those who are wishing to start. It's a college definitely worth attending if you are interested in makeup, special effects, beauty therapy or fitness. I do personally enjoy it at LCBT. It's not for everyone; many girls in my class left the college. So before you start, make sure this is what you want to do! There are many things in life that will catch your eye, but only a few will catch your heart.. Pursue those

Studying at LCBT is the best experience of my life! I studied my level 2 Beauty Therapy, and now coming to an end of my Level 3. The staff are amazing, friendly and always put theirselves out for the students. I have been fortunate to see the story from both sides, as I now work for LCBT as salon receptionist and senior therapist. There is a reason why they are the UK's leading specialist college for beauty! They have inhouse brands such as Dermalogica and OPI, allowing the students to work with top quality brands, and know the industry like the back of their hand! Perfectly situated just off Oxford Street, this little gem of a place offers a huge range of facials and treatments by a lovely group of student professionals. I just had a lymphatic facial that lasted an hour for a fraction of the price that other salons would charge. Don't be fooled by the low prices though - the quality is all there! I could barely stand up after my hour long pampering session and that sense of pure euphoria lasted all evening. Thank you LCBT! Xxx

I first came to LCBT in Feb, not knowing a dam thing about fitness, I play and coach football but what I learned here was INCREDIBLE. From muscle fibres to arteries from the heart to the bones and to the tendons 💪🏾 I got through the first week but honestly week 2 I wasn’t going to come, I had enough lol but I stuck in there and got through to the end, but this was down to my tutor Sandra Connor and the awesome classmates who attended with me. Madam Connor has been inspiring, and she even takes part in exercises we was learning, she’s organised, always on time, and she gives 💯% everyday even when she is totally knackered she still put her time in to the students. The classmates are incredible too, helping each other out all the time supporting one another. If you are considering doing a fitness course through LCBT make sure you ask for Sandra Connor first. My name is Linda Ha, I have studied with LCBT from August 2015 to July 2016. Along my journey completing my Level 2 Beauty Therapy with Lisa Arbiter and Level 3 with Rachael Fraser. I can honestly say i am very lucky to have such both AMAZING tutors. They both were very supportive and gave you as much as you gave them. So if you want something than go for it, dont let anything or anyone get in the way of that. I can say that I put in alot of work and the tutors helped me get my qualification! Not everything is PERFECT, the college can be a little disorganised running out of towels for clients or clients not turning up (not the college thought) i guess can be little more organised! Products being low, etc.. I honestly have to say it has been a long road, but it is defiantly worth it! I am proud of studying with LCBT and having 2 amazing tutors along the way! LISA ARBITER AND RACHAEL FRASER you both ROCK! you both are amazing tutors. thank you for everything you have done for us all Q003 (Level 2) and Q121 (Level 3). My aim now is to study my Level 4 in Laser and IPL (Beautec Academy in Loughton) lets see how i get on :) i wish LCBT was doing the Level 4 Laser and IPL! I would continue my journey with them. I am nearing the end of the Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Therapy. As a mature student with 3 children, I was concerned that I may struggle going back to studying. But the support and guidance I have received throughout this course from tutors ( Rupa Paw and Carla Bertouche) has been phenomenal, the way the course is illustrated in a clear concise manner has enabled me to acquire Distinctions. I have grown in confidence and feel that I can achieve anything! I am truly grateful for the experience, and look forward to starting Level 3, and progressing towards a career I have only ever dreamed of in the past, I now know is achievable!!

Completed the L2 Diploma in Health and Fitness recently. I have to say that the enthusiasm of the tutors really helps on what is a very intensive course. There were VERY useful industry talks from representatives in the fitness industry that will help graduates of this course find work afterwards. Be prepared to work hard as the course IS demanding but well worth it at the end.

Hi .. i'm a student from the lcbt. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank lcbt for the help and support they gave me when i was unexpectedly injured, This is my personal review. I was unexpectedly injured whilst on the course, Resulting in me being on crutches & missing classes. After a meeting with Sophie (from student support), she offered me support if I wanted to work towards catching up. Which I was very keen to do. She arranged for one of their tutors .. named Anda to help & support me. The support and teaching was fantastic, Andas teaching was excellent and i really learned a lot, Although hard work, she made learning both enjoyable and fun. The other students were friendly and helpful. I had a very positive learning experience & can honestly say that the student support, teaching and learning environment here is really good. I now have a very good Foundation for further studies & practice, all made possible with the support of great staff .. especially Sophie and Anda. Thanks again Hilary x

Well where do we start? I am from Toronto Canada and I find people in London a little snobby and miserable in comparision. Signing up for the level 2-3 fitness course I had no idea what to expect. I thought a male teacher would be the situation but to my surprise the teacher was a cutie patooty. Malaysian mix honey on the breakdown! She was cool and as time went on the whole class became comfortable with her and each other. We made a law because we are known as the JUSTICE LEAGUE...the law is enter the class with a positive winning attitude! Each one of us made bold efforts to achieve this mind set as well as the teach. The results were astronomical high grade point average around 90's or so as a class! Nuff said, got luv for all my class mates and Dr.Connor. Shalom

Currently Studying Here: Sister went here and spoke fondly of it. Many Years later Im experiancing not so much of a great experiance to my new year. To be honest, after a few weeks you start to notice some cracks within the course. After a while these Cracks such as an overall of lack of teaching. Even when speaking your opinion you either get patronised or ignored from the teachers And when you do actually attend, your made to waste it by focusing more about an add on topic over your actual main course. Please if you your looking for a college in high hopes on bettering yourself this year, avoid the Hair and media makeup course level 2. This year was meant to be my year, i gave 100% and this college let me down big time. I am not alone, i know about 3 groups roughly a total of 30 already that feel the same as me. They too, feel let down and the worst part is, its got to a point where voices are not being heard because the college dont want too know. Course they'll always have a reply to try and seem like there on top of the problem but i can assure you, its definately not getting dealt with.

If you want to be taken seriously, need ongoing support and encouragement, want to achieve the highest level of success within the beauty field. If you require discipline and can put in hard work. This college will polish you, train and guide you to become the best you can be. You will always be offered work, training and opportunities. Studying in the heart of the city. Willingess to become more refined and immaculate as a leader in the beauty world! this is not a joke styled college. This is a serious college in a competitive industry be ready, be focused be appreciative of all LCBT have to offer and you will go as far as you are willing to go into your beauty career. Good luck! Would of given them full 5stars but one of the receptionist is not very friendly and did not acknowledge me when I walked in. However the other receptionist (the girl with glasses) think her name was Gene was very friendly and so helpful. She reassured me about my application and answered my questions. I look forward to studying at LCBT in the very near future.

I love the LCBT. The location behind Oxford Circus is easy to get to and they offer and impressive range of treatments. As it is a college not all of the treatments are available all of the time but at the low prices they charge of the profesional standard beauty treatments it is a small complaint. Booking is easily done in person, by email or over the phone, although I have often found it difficult to get through on the phone so make sue you contact them at least a week in advance to book you treatments although I have occasionaly got a last minute apointment.

Getting an appointment was a nightmare, had to get on Twitter to get a reply. There definitely is room for improvement in the reception area. The girl that gave me a facial was really nice. It was her last final, and she was very thorough. If I can get through to get an appointment I will definitely go back.

I have not used them for anything else except electronisis. I had gone for many rounds of this and it was very painful, the hair grew back. Throughout the process I felt my hairs being plucked out and I had mentioned this, I later found out this was how you know the process was not done properly. I have heard many great things about this Salon and they are students, so I would recommend your use their other services inst of their IPL.

My experience with LCBT was amazing. other than the devotion my tutor had to qualifying us I met a lot of great people and was able to feel relaxed during my intensive course.

Well i have a lot to say but im going to cut it shorttt !...1st of all my tutor sandra has been so amazing by helping me build up my confidence and helped me so much on this course...i had an amazing experience and met awesome people on the fitness course that i did, the course was amazing as it helped build my knowledge in the fitness industry, i passed on my level 2 and 3 also done an extra spin class after the 8 week course was finished ,i had an amazing experience with lbct as all the members at the collage was very helpful to, its been 3 weeks that the course has been over and i miss being in class at the albany, i highly recommend studying lbct !! And I'd like to say a big THANK YOU TO SANDRA CONNOR FOR EVERYTHING !! And a big THANK YOU TO LCBT COLLAGE !! x

If it wasn’t for LCBT I would have given up and not passed my level 2 beauty - unbelievable support was given to me by my tutor and even when I thought the grass was greener by enrolling at a local college - I decided to come back and they took me back for level 3 - I will never forget what they have done for me!

The staff are great,Geena at reception is very efficient and extremely helpful! both my level 2 and level 3 tutors were exceptional!
