Morley College is a creative hub, a true London Gem! Facilities are great and there is always a buzz and community feel. I've worked in Universities and studied in numerous places over the years, but there is something special about Morley College. It has an old school learning vibe with modern facilities in the heart of London. It also has affordable short courses designed around students needs and aspirations.

This is a great college which offers a wide variety of courses and has friendly, informative tutors. They've recently renovated the college and changed the entrance. I used to like the old steps entrance, but that's now been changed to a side entrance, which is conversely not so accessible!

I've signed up for saxaphone lessons and looking forward to learning to play my dream instrument. Thanks Gerry!

It's a lovely place with a great athmosphere, there is so much you can learn about, both in class and on line. Only problem: the big hall where the Conductor's Orchestra takes place on Sundays at the moment is FREEZING COLD! Tonight Friday night the cafe was open and it was lovely to be back there.

Just amazing. Senior Psychology and Counselling
Teacher Katharine Frieda, counselling
Teacher Cinderella and Doctor Rohini are just great.
Truly one of the best educational experience I’ve had in the U.K. coming from several universities with successful graduation, I’ve have learnt a lot here . The teaching has been so fun , making complex subjects easier to grasp and understand. Highly recommended. Thank you all :)

The Adult Introduction to Acting course is really good. Very welcoming for those who may be nervous and we try lots of different techniques to improve creativity, body movement, voice, and line learning (less focus on line learning that some other courses). There is a good amount of focus on getting comfortable with yourself and the others in the group and building a bit of a community. The current group ranges from people who are there for confidence building to those who are joining acting schools and looking for professional work. The classes are 2.5 hours, which is longer than other similar courses in the area. Morley College is a nice relaxed atmosphere and there are online service as well. Highly recommend!

I attended a one day Beginners Knitting Machine course at Morley College on the 5th April 2019.
The tutor was very knowledgeable showing lots of examples of the various projects that could be carried out on the knitting machines, gave clear and concise demonstrations and explanations, along with patiently overseeing us whilst we created our own work. I also found the handouts and recommendations extremely helpful.
I thoroughly enjoyed the day that just flew by. I have a new knitting machine that I had not used since the purchase two months ago. I was able to go home after the course to use and understand my knitting my machine.

Great adult education college offering a wide variety of courses. High teaching standards and facilities, friendly atmosphere. I have been attending dance, languages and craft courses there for over 10 year.
The only negative side is the fees going up as much as five times more than when I started for some courses ( probably because of lack of funding? ) making them unaffordable to many.

I took part of a Zumba and nutrition course with the Community Learning department of Morley College (the course was outside Morley College). I really enjoyed this course. I took part of it twice, in two different venues. Ann, the tutor has loads of good energy and the course was fun. It was accessible to beginners and enjoyable to everyone. We had a great time each week and I would not hesitate to go again anytime if I had the chance.

I enjoyed my music theory course. I always have a problem when people don't put the work in and slow the class down and this happened a lot but that was because the tutor was very patient which isn't necessarily a bad thing. I went back for Grade 2.
I've never had any issues with staff being rude or other issues people have left bad reviews for and am returning to do vocal training soon.
The refurbishments caused me some issues as I have trouble walking but I guess they were necessary.
I think the courses are good value for money and there are a few more courses I'll be doing in the future. I can be quite particular so if I enjoyed it, most people should!!

I took piano courses there such as piano1B &1C. The course were great and lovely atmosphere there. Tutor Dimitris was awesome. I like his teaching methods and the way how he communicates with students. My piano skills have been improved a lot lot...I will continue my piano courses with Morley. I can see lot lots of lovely moments in the future...

I attended a short Photoshop course here and the tuition was great, as I passed the exam. There's also a small canteen on-site and this was a good spot to chat with other students during the break.

I attended Jazz Piano 3A, B and C at Morley College over the course of 2013-14. As an intermediate pianist with very limited prior knowledge of Jazz, this was at a perfect level for me.
Apart from being a great composer and jazz/blues performer, Tim Richards (the tutor) is also a fantastic teacher. He is clear and patient and brings real passion to his teaching (unlike many other musicians that turn to teaching out of necessity and end up being frustrated).
Tim's structured approach gives students the chance to build really solid understanding / ability around the basic concepts and techniques before more complex elements are looked into.
The course largely follows Tim's first book on Jazz piano over the three terms, although additional materials and tunes are covered too. Classes are a mix of taught content, listening, individual and group playing. You'll get most out the course if you practice regularly every week between classes. At the end of every term you'll have the opportunity of playing a tune of your choice on a grand piano in front of an audience in one of the college halls.
I really enjoyed my year studying Jazz piano at Morley and feel I have improved significantly as a player. I will continue with Tim's advanced class (Jazz piano 4) next year.

Brilliant adult college running a wide range of creative arts courses from short evening courses to degrees! Cracking facilities, inclusive feel. I did a music technology course, the studio is amazing and the teaching really fun.

I've done jewellery and printing courses here- all excellent. Communication from the college is poor and could easily be improved. But overall great facilities, great tutors and great courses in printing and jewellery.

Wordpress Website and Blog Design: Beginners - Tutor Dalia Aldin
I have thoroughly enjoyed this course and found it to be exactly what I wanted, and more. Dalia Aldin is an excellent tutor - she explained everything in a very clear way and was very patient. Her encouragement made me feel more confident than I ever thought I would and I am really looking forward to moving ahead with my blog. I would recommend the course and the College.

I really enjoyed my counselling Level 2 course. I felt I learnt a lot, not only about myself but about others. The canteen offer cooked meals, salads and sandwiches. They don't take care though. The library has z couple of books and a range of computers. Good college but not great.

Couldn't find a short tailoring course that suited me until now. The tutor is excelent and d passionate about his craft. He makes lesson informative, entertaining and relaxed. I would not hesitate in recommending this course. I only wish each session was a full day and not half a day.

I've been attending The Local Vocals Choir during the past 2 years. The choir's conductors are very professional, friendly and supportive. The atmosphere is lovely. This choir is for everyone, no matter your music knowledge.
I've really enjoyed the experience.

a friend recommended Morley's college after she had many classes there. It is very convenient for me to go there as I am from south london. I took the VDD333A Coding for the Web: Essential Skills with Dalia Aldin. Dalia is brilliant she was patient and professional, she made the class dynamic and the content easy to comprehend. i have been trying to learn HTML and CSS for ages on my own with no luck. Being in such a great hand I was able to code a small website! I feel confident to practice on my own.

Did the web coding course, tough but what a joy the tutor Dalia Aldin was first class. Very professional and knowledgeable. I thoroughly enjoyed Morley and will do other courses there.

Outstanding facilities and tutors.
I have recently completed the Adobe Photoshop: ACA Accredited course at Morley College and I can recommend this school to others that are looking to gain a formal qualification at a reasonable price. The college gives you access to the best facilities and tutors. Our tutor, Lorenzo Andreani was extremely well prepared, and helped us gaining the confidence and skills to pass the exam. Having studied in UK and US, in both private and public colleges, I can state that studying at Morley College is like studying at a private college, except for the price which is the most reasonable I have found in London. From the moment I contacted them to enquiry and enroll I was very pleased at how efficient they were. Once started the course, I was again impressed by the latest equipment available to students and the high level of teaching provided. 10 weeks later, having obtained the ACA qualification I have only praise for them and keep recommending them to friends

Did my NVQ here. Facilities are top notch and amazing.
The tutors are supportive every step of the way. I really enjoyed the course, even the senior people came to visit us and helped us understand elements of what we learned. Not much of a choice with courses though or in the cafeteria.

Great learning experience, stunning teacher!
I had the chance to take part in the best BELLY DANCE course in London run by ANNA KEMPER at Morley College.
Anna is a wonderful professional dancer as well as an enthusiastic and engaging teacher. During the course, she always balanced a challenging workout, nice choreographies and lots of fun, what makes her classes really enjoyable and useful to improve students' skills. I loved her sense of humour! It enables to create the right surrounding in a dance class.
I warmly suggest belly dance to all women wishing to reach a different awareness of their body and discover a new way to express themselves.

I've been doing printmaking on Saturday afternoons for several years because the tutor is great, it's a friendly class and provides cheap access to printmaking facilities. I've learned new printmaking techniques and made new friends there. It's like entering a different world with the old printing presses and litho lime stones. Making prints is full of surprises and quite therapeutic. Definitely a nice thing to do at the weekend if you are feeling creative.

I have only high praises of Morley College where I took numerous courses such as Jazz Piano, Big Band, Jazz Singing, Sound Design, Machine Knitting, Pinhold Camera etc. Tutors are very professional and knowledgable of the subjects they teach, and are very friendly and helpful to students. Highly recommend!

I did word press for beginners and I really benefited from it .I was able to build my own website in 3 weeks ..
My Tutor Dalia ,was very helpful.she taught me all the necessary skills to develop my website .

I took a lot of courses in jewelry making and I am very satisfied with the variety of courses, with the teaching and equipment. Moreover it is the cheapest school compared to others that I tried. It is difficult to subscribe on line as I the system never took my card and this is annoying, however, at the phone they were very kind and tried to help.

Completed a year with the Acting Company, taking part in three full productions, learning a variety of skills along the way. The real plus point for this course, and what gives Morley the edge over others, is the quality of teaching.
The Company is led by Director Clive Perrott who creates a safe and lighthearted environment, he gets to know his students and tailors roles to peoples individual skill sets.

I attended to complete my AAT Mock exam there were only 3 students attending and we were spaced out we all wore masks and there were minimal people in the building, so all were adhering to COVID 19 rules

The Word Press Course on Saturday with Dalia Aldin is really engaging and practical. I learnt a lot on this short course. We explored different aspects of Word Press and how to optimise your website.

Wordpess for begginers.
Great fun course for building my first online blog.Well lead, well taught, great group of people doing the course who made it a very enjoyable experience. Only shame was that the It wasn't always as good as it could have been, plus point was the skill the tutor showed in getting round it!

Normally lots going on, but now deserted because of Covid. We were able to have a class there. Lots of safety /hygiene precautions in place.

My Tutor Dalia Aldin made learning how to build my own website seem easy. Now I have a functioning website, that I made myself, and can edit and add more to. Thoroughly reccommended.
