Urbanest Westminster Bridge is an excellent location for students. It’s extremely close to the Big Ben, the London Eye, and the Westminster Abbey. It’s literally situated in the heart of the city and I must say the view from the terrace of the accommodation is breathtaking. I always go there when I want to get some fresh air and feel happy. I feel so safe in this area. Also, it’s literally got Tesco, M&S Simply Food, Sainsbury’s, Pret, and Co-op with in 5 mins of walking. The Waterloo station is also just 7 mins away. EVERYTHING A STUDENT CAN ASK FOR IS OFFERED AT URBANEST. However, the staff is sometimes not helpful, but you rarely have an issue here. BOOK YOUR PLACE IN THE JANUARY OF YOUR COMMENCEMENT YEAR! Also, try and book higher floors on the external sides.

This review is regarding an amazing Urbanest staff member of the Westminster Bridge location, who's name is Ruhul. I had many issues settling into Urbanest Westminister and since I was new to the city of London, I was facing other issues like making friends and not knowing any places to go. Ruhul really helped me out by being informative and kind when I was asking him 100's if not 1000's of questions, which was super helpful for cutting down on this anxiety. He is a very nice person and one of the best people at the Westminster bridge location of Urbanest.

I can’t explain in words how much I have loved living at Urbanest for my final year of undergraduate. All the staff made my stay easier, they have always helped me with any problem, from a lost letter to come and fix the microwave within minutes. The rooms are spacious and there is lots of privacy between one room and another. All the common areas are fantastic. I wish I could still watch the sunset from the terrace, play table tennis all night long and watch the sunrise while having breakfast. I miss all the incredible staff that works there, from the reception team, to the amazing guys that comes and fix everything within minutes. Thanks Urbanest for making my last year of university the most special one, I will never forget a single second of it! ❤️

The staff are nice. My room is OK. Parcel services are timely and nice. But given the price tag, you may want to avoid here if one of the following bothers you.
1. Staff enter your room frequently. For whatever reasons: wifi, wifi again, wifi*3, pest control, smoke detector check, door check ..... I value my privacy and I am not always in my best shape to open the door at random time.
2. No free bikes available due to covid. One thing I really looked forward to was the free bike access as promised. However, due to covid this never happend. I understood the hygine concerns but just wanna point out in case anyone is interested. Santander bikes are nice anyway.
3. Too close to the hotel building. My room (west - north side) is super close to the hotel building and my window is so big that I could see (and be seen by) people in the hotel PERFECTLY. it felt uncomfortably exposed especially at night when curtains were not down.
4. Avoid rooms with shared space if you worry about Covid. I was told one of my flatmates tested positive but they refused to let me know who the person was to avoid discrimination. What really freaked me out was the fact that EVERYONE (including the patient) still had full access to the shared kitchen during the required self-isolation of the whole flat. This is the main reason I decid to move out asap.

I am currently living at Urbanest Westminster Bridge. I moved from a different country during the pandemic, I did my self-isolation here, and I am busy surviving the national lockdowns and Covid-19 in general. I see the opinions vary vastly, so I thought I’d give my unbiased thoughts.
The maintenance and reception staff are good - always warm and able to help. The location is absolutely prime: close to campus, amazing sights, various shops around the corner, and there is a lot of safe space to run and walk around. Even during this unprecedented economic and health crisis, I have never left unsafe or boxed in.
As many have mentioned, the apartments are small - but the sizes do not differ significantly from other London residences. Plus, the apartments and rooms are efficiently designed, and the showers are not those horrible “wet shower.”
That said, the apartments are more expensive than average, but you get what you pay for. Still, do not come here if you can’t afford it or if you are expecting a mansion. The price accounts for the clean and modern facilities, various amenities, prime location and overall safety. Also note that you will cut on travel expenses as it is close to everything and safe to walk everywhere.
If I could choose again, I would make the same decision and come to Urbanest Westminster Bridge.

Fantastic accommodation! Szymon at the reception was extremely helpful and welcoming in giving me a show around!

Nice place to stay for study. Noise from Waterloo station is definitely something you should consider if you are about to book

I have lived at Urbanest through my entire university degree. Urbanest has been a constant part of my life as a student and I know I can count on them. I felt safe and very comfortable living here. The entire team is always there to help you. Urbanest teams keep the building very clean at all times. In my opinion it is the best student accommodation in London.

Urbanest is the best accommodation you can live in in London. Hands down.
The location is exquisite, you are right in the middle of the city, with breathtaking views no matter where you are in the building.
It’s right next to the river where literally every major station in London is available to you. Whether you want to go to Westminster station for the district and circle line, or waterloo station for the jubilee line, bakerloo line and northern line. If you thought that couldn’t get any better, you have the waterloo and city line there too. The entirety of London is quite literally at your fingertips here!
Oh yeah, it also has a POOL. A literal swimming pool in the basement. Like , WHAT!? And a GYM TOO. You live in a level of luxury unheard of to most students here.
When I was here 2 years ago, it was a blast. It has every amenity you could ask for: A very helpful reception, Printers upstairs, three study rooms, with whiteboards and projectors. Even snack machines! Right on the roof there’s a giant communal area with arguably the best views you could ever get in a student accommodation. Spectacular.
The rooms were very spacious, you had heating and an en-suite shower and toilet in every room, along with a shared kitchen. Nothing ever broke, and you were never pestered with maintenance personnel.
Supermarkets are everywhere. I counted and there’s 4 (!) marks and spencer shops within a 7 minute walk. There’s a boris bike stand right outside so you don’t even need to bring a bike with you. You are served well!
I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. I have no criticisms of the place at all. You really do get what you pay for!
(I originally wrote a 4 star review 2 years ago, but with time to reflect I understand just how great this place actually was)

Student accommodation for LSE students. A very modern and new building, blameless facilities for learning and entertaining (even find free Xbox underground).
I came here to visit my friend and I do love here (regardless the rent). Amaaaaazing view on the rooftop, u can see London eye, Thames and Big Ben. I bet u can see perfect fireworks show on New Year's Eve here. Also, free activity rooms for parties and table tennis.

I've been living at Urbanest for half a year and would recommend it. The building is well-situated, well-equipped, secure and comfortable; and Urbanest team onsite are reliable, friendly, and helpful.
It took about 20 min to get to LSE on foot and there are quite a few shops and cafes nearby. Despite adjacent to a railway station, there's hardly any noise if you get the window closed.
I've been enjoying chatting with reception(Lorenza and Sammy if I remember them correctly) who are always friendly and ready to help. Maintenance team is also effective so there's nothing to worry about when living here: our washing machine broke down once and basin jammed twice. The team dealt with them within 2 working days.
