Recently refurbished. Good acoustics but awkward to see bands due to concrete pillars. The the gig excellent but struggled to see

I spent pretty much every Friday here in 2000-2003 and I can remember it like it was yesterday. The cheap pints of 'Diesel' (beer+cider+blackcurrant), the jostling for position at the bar, the constant bumping into 'Tom' from your Accounting module, the sticky floors, the sweaty, noisy and dark basement - a student version of Dante's 'Inferno', the drunken casualties lying on the staircases like fallen climbers part way up Everest. This is the stuff uni memories are made of. Obviously that was a long time ago but it left a lasting impression. Hopefully it is still as raw as it was then, to be anything less would be to deny the current generation a life shaping experience.

This place is full of fun. 2nd and 3rd floors are dedicated for students study and computer cluster. Ground floor consists of bar, food Court, shops.

Had many amazing undergraduate nights out here, especially in the Men's Bar, Cochrane Lounge, and the famous Level 6 disco, for those with long memories :)

Pre Rugby World game, well organised venue, expensive drink and food...

Saw George Ezra here. It could be a good venue but at least half of the room has no view of the stage at all.

I prefer going to this place for group works, but usually disturbed by the smell of the food which students bring from home.
