A. C.Best accommodation at UEA if you get housed with the right people. If not, you can easily make friends with some of the other flats in your block. Only downside is the beds are only 6ftx2.5ft.
L.I've lived here for 4 months and I can say that even though the accommodation buildings are a bit old, me and my flatmates had a ball here. The rooms are decent, the bed is a bit uncomfortable and its size kind of short, but the desk is quite long. Few only problems are that the rooms can get extremely hot in any time of the year if your room faces directly to the sun. The kitchen may be small for 10 people, but the odds of 10 people cooking at the same time are very low. The sink size may fall short but the storage drawers are big enough for a full shopping. The amount of toilets is decent, I've never had a problem with them, there's always been a free one. It was the same with the showers, there are 2 and hardly ever both of them are used at the same time. The views of the lake and the field are the best thing of the accommodation, as well as its exterior look and being very close of the ARTS building, the su bar and su shop. There is a bike park at the door of every block, which is very helpful if you got a bike. One thing that was annoying was that when I arrived they were in the works of repairing the building, the scaffolding blocked some of the views and would also result in loud noises of construction works every few days. Plus, this situation lasted almost a month. Aside of that, these a great value option with fantastic views and a close way to any building of UEA.
