I would put 5 star just for the ladies in reception they're always really helpful/kind and theres always a security guard at night, one helped me get back to my room when I didn't have my key after a night out. There's a games room which consists of a pool table, piano, ping-pong, big TV, and table football. You can throw gatherings in there if you let reception know prior. One bad thing that happened however was when playing piano the stall collapsed and I fell on the floor, so they need to be careful with what furniture they put in. ( Most of it looks brand new so this may just be an odd case, but still dangerous) There's also a study area with a huge TV, and they recently invested in new furniture for it and it looks really stylish in there. There's also a separate noise blocking room in there for quiet study. I booked a studio silver and in the pictures/other people's silver rooms there's a laminated floor in the kitchen but I have a carpet which isn't great. There's 3 big windows so there's lots of sunlight to let in. The rooms however have really ugly coloured walls which is a shame as the kitchen is very modern. Your room will either have bright neon yellow, green, or blue walls. It's hard to feel at home because of this, so I wish the landlord/company invested in more neutral colours. The price is high if you are living on your own but if you split the rent it isn't too bad, so perfect for couples. Some rooms will have a nice view of the city, and some will have a view of the carpark bins lol. Microwave, toaster, oven, are all very efficient, the fridge is small and has a tiny weeny freezer and you can't fit much in it. There is a more mature vibe to the place, there's never any parties, not much of a crazy party uni vibe. Most residents are international students who much don't speak much English but are very polite and the average age for people here is 20. The location is amazing, you can see Nottingham Trent uni from your window, it's literally a 30 second walk, right next to the tram stop as well where you can get to the train station or Clifford campus. There's sometimes little activities advertised you can join in on like Halloween pumpkin carving, Yoga mornings, pub quiz nights, but I haven't been to any. The rent includes WiFi, electric, water etc, there's always hot water in the shower and the internet is fine.
