M. H.Great hospitality, even though breakfast was in the wrong place and we got locked in a room! Very accessible by bus from Heathrow.

N.The College also has a number of shorter-term academic post-holders, such as Career Development and Research Fellows (whose posts are usually of three years duration), Laming Fellows (holders of one- or two-year research fellowships for those engaged in comparative work) and College Lecturers (holders of fixed-term academic appointments which carry tutorial responsibilities). At any one time, the College also has in residence a number of distinguished academic visitors from around the world. Finally, the College has a number of Honorary, Emeritus and Supernumerary Fellows.

T. L.This place is top drawer, the bees knees and all of that.
It is small because it is crazy old. The basement of the library is a crypt that is over 1000 years old. Sure it is strange to study in an old church and you have to walk through the grave yard to get there. Still, this college loves sports, academics and social. A great place to be.

D. B.This is a college and as such the accommodation is basic. But it is a picturesque location with friendly staff. It is a fascinating place.
M. Q.St Edmund Hall is one of the smaller colleges in Oxford. Although it is one of the oldest institutions of the University of Oxford, it only officially become a college around 50 years ago.
A highlight of the college is the food. It is the best food that I came across at Oxford college, maybe only rivalled by Nuffield College.
Also notable is the college library, which is housed within one of the oldest remaining churches in Oxford.
