Absolutely fantastic experience with the Tatenhill flying staff. From the receptionist who constantly kept me updated through to the Aerobatic Instructor who pulled some amazing stunts in a Cessna 152, the whole day was fantastic. The area was clean tidy and respectable. I will be back.

We arrived early for a flying lesson for our 16 year old daughter as a birthday gift to her. She is austic and dyslexic. We met with two of the instructors from aerobility. They were calming and great at teaching our daughter the controls and about the plane. They talked her through everything that was going to happen. Discussed the route with her. She had the best experience possible. Great fun. Highly recommend craig and Norman.

I went for a trial flight for my 30th birthday. Really fun experience and was able to fly over my house in Stoke and take pictures. Dave was really helpful and knowledgeable and I was able to take the control in the air. The weather was great that day so the view was amazing. Would recommend!!

I've flown with Tatenhill Aviation three times since 2016, and each experience has been unique. If you're a regular flyer, like me, then with each experience the teacher will give you a selection of more difficult tasks to perform, including pre-flight checks of the aircraft, taxiing duties and some more advanced aerobatics. The staff are always very helpful and friendly, and there's an on-site grill for anyone who'd like something to eat. :)

I had an amazing experience on my 1st flying Lesson today with Martin Handley, he made the whole experience very enjoyable, it took me 2 years to pluck up the courage after my husband treated me to this experience for Christmas! Thankyou to Martins wife also for telling me about her experience and putting me at ease! I would definitely recommend it and I would like to do it again!

Had a brilliant time yesterday after my wife brought me a flying lesson at Tatenhill Aviation,Alex my instructor was great nice and calm and kept things simple. He give me control of the sessna 152 from take off and flown it for the full 30 mine and even landed the plane myself. A great company with ally polite friendly staff,fully recommended. Carl Perry

Many years ago we Arranged a surprise flying lesson for my dad who had been told he would not be with us very long due to the big C, he has always wanted to fly and this was perfect, most amazing people here made his dreams come alive, he loved it so much we even got to sneak in another lesson few months later. Lovely long runway, friendly staff

I learned to fly here, i initially had a trial flight in London before moving up here. This airfield a million times better than my trial airfield. The staff in the office sometimes are a little stressed but rest assured it's just workload. When I say sometimes that's exactly what I mean, most of the time they are happy 👍 Dave wood the cfi is a top bloke, I love this guy! It has plenty of parking space and toilets etc a lovely little cafe and viewing area, not to mention a nice little conservatory. The runway is extremely long and well looked after as are their aircraft. The hire rates and lessons are extremely competitive. I highly recommend tatenhill 100%
