Spar on site was incredibly poor, decent customer service in there with approachable staff. Constant road blockages stopping buses in the morning. If the village was closer to either campus I would likely recommend, for the price it’s acceptable. Great environment to meet new people and mingle

My eldest daughters first home away from home, she had an amazing start to her Uni life while living here. She has made friends with more than just her flatmates, a real community feel. The rooms are very well furnished and the buildings are cleaned and maintained well. She was very sad when she had to leave early due to the corona virus. All in all a very good first residence for students.

Good student vibe. The accommodation is well laid out so long as you are able to spend most of your time on campus. Not a good place to endure lockdown Buildings already showing signs of really shoddy workmanship. Obvious damp issues, blocked guttering, failed pointing etc.

Lived in house 42, which has now been demolished. It wasn't the nicest house in the world but we had such a good time. It's funny how a seemingly innocuous decision in the student housing office can end up affecting people's lives. My wife and I met in house 42, back in 2000, and we've been married for about 14 years now. Our daughter would never have been born if it weren't for that decision to house us together. It's a shame that house 42 has gone, but we remember it fondly.

Reasonable rent and fun general atmosphere. However, accommodation quality and services left a lot to be desired. Especially the frequent wifi, water and electrical outages, our bathrooms leaking on both floors and the laundrette being inaccessible for the best part of two months.

Peaceful with plenty of green spaces. The accommodation is adequate and basic for what you need and not too far from the beach.

You make it what you want to make it. Student living isn’t like being at home, so don’t rate it like it is, you find friends, yourself and grow up. It makes people. Loved every minute of living here. Great Uni, and great city.

Worked in this place, "Hendrefoelan House" takes you back as if your in the 19th century, creaky floor boards & squeaky doors. we covered all the external windows with plyboards, protecting especially the front stained glass windows, from vandalism.

Big building project near, make it looks a bit messy at the moment. Have a spar shop, the worst I have seen so far. Half empty and mostly sell junk food (for students?). Close to a nice forest at least.

Admittedly quite a few years ago, but I loved it! The Woodside had just been built, rooms were great there and the atmosphere fantastic. Sad to see many bad reviews now...

Seems ok. It's at the other end of Swansea from Campus, you will need to get the bus.
