My daughter did very well in her A levels and got her university place, no problem. Her teachers were passionate about their subjects and I feel she really enjoyed her 2 years here, even though Covid disrupted everything.

Worcester Sixth Form College is a good (if not the best) choice for students abroad as I was able to experience myself. That is so for several reasons:
1. The college does a very good job welcoming the international students. On our first day, we were all introduced to our tutors and the principal, and, most importantly, to each other. That way, we already had people to talk to, which made the first weeks a lot easier!
2. The staff and teachers are very kind and supportive. I must admit I've grown incredibly close to some of my teachers and I sincerely miss them now that my time at the college has ended.
3. They offer a lot of extra curricular activities. I participated in multiple such activities, be it regular ones such as Jazz ensemble or the (musical-)college production or short-term ones such as creative writing competitions. These activities are a great opportunity to meet new people or to get to know them better!
Apart from that, of course I also met the most awesome group of people ever!! (greetings to all my classmates and friends!!)

I couldn't have asked for a better time at Worcester Sixth Form College, It was such a fantastic two years, and I wouldn't have changed it for anywhere else. The teachers are so encouraging and supportive and are particularly helpful in nurturing your ambitions, whether that be regarding jobs, higher education or just genuine academic interests. Students are encouraged to ask for advice in developing their work and the staff will always give helpful guidance and constructive feedback. Not only are the teachers brilliant, but the canteen staff, college site staff, the librarians and student support workers are all so friendly and help contribute to such a lovely college environment. There's such a vast array of subject choice as well as extra-curricular activities available, and there's a real feel that people are passionate about their subjects and genuinely want to do well. I am so grateful for my time at Worcester Sixth form College and for their help with my journey to Bristol University, and I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a thorough, friendly and inclusive education.

As a parent I would highly recommend WSFC. The level of teaching is excellent and the teachers are really passionate about their subjects and they also offer great support and encouragement to the students. The pastoral care here is also excellent and they take the time to understand and advise the students. My son has made such good progress here that he has been offered a place at his chosen University and will be going with a new found confidence and a fantastic work ethic.

My son attended WSFC between September 2018 and summer 2020. He thoroughly enjoyed his time there, but my main praise is reserved for his personal tutor and A-level teachers. Far from him being just a number in a large Sixth Form college, the care, support and encouragement he received were excellent. He would definitely not have completed the courses and graduated without this. Even after a gap year, this February his former tutor was ready to provide him with a reference despite a very last minute request, and thanks to this he has gained a place at university. I am so grateful for the support that was in place for my son and wouldn't hesitate to recommend WSFC to other families.

Worcester Sixth Form College offers an extensive range of top quality courses for A Level students, including applied level courses.
I was a student at the college from 2015-2017 and my interests and passions were catered to in ways that no other sixth form in Worcestershire was able to meet. The staff are all incredibly friendly, accommodating, and always keen to help both academically and personally, as well as being truly passionate and knowledgeable about their subjects. This quality and support is matched in the college's careers service, tutorial staff, and the leadership team.
The college additionally offers a broad range of opportunities in extra-curricular activities (e.g. sport, student leadership, theatre), Oxbridge and higher education support, and activities/field trips to further our understanding of each subject. Worcester Sixth Form College is dedicated to giving every student not only a high-quality education, but a truly enjoyable and exciting experience.

A fantastic hub for amazing further education opportunities in all development routes and career pathways across a diverse range of subjects, supported by an expert team of teachers, staff and state-of-the-art resources to help students to succeed and reach their full potential.
From my own experiences being a student from 2017-19 at Worcester Sixth Form College, I can confidently say that the college prepared me exceptionally well for my future.

My wife and I were very grateful to Worcester 6th Form College for allowing our son the chance to continue his studies when things did not work out for him at his previous school.
We felt that he really flourished during his time at the college and gained his independence. He found that the teachers were really supportive and as a result he performed well. He was very pleased with his A level results. Consequently he has been able to gain a position at the University of his choice.

The time spent at Worcester Sixth Form College was one of the best. The teachers were extremely supportive and encouraging. I was always made to feel that with a little effort, I could achieve my potential. This helped me to progress to a reputed university(Aston Business School) from where I have graduated.

While studying at Worcester 6th Form for my A Levels, I was also playing rugby to representative level. This was extremely demanding on my time, and I had a tremendous level of support from the teachers and staff at the college. This enabled me to leave with 3 A Levels, while also landing a professional contract with Worcester Warriors. I will always be indebted to those who helped and supported me.

The college has been incredibly welcoming to my siblings and I, who are all home-educated and as such have had to adjust to the life of state education. I emerged from my beginnings and was dreading that it'd be a 3-year sludge through GCSE' 'resits' and A-Levels. What I wasn't expecting was the absolute opposite, and the dedication of the teachers have always astounded me. They are always interested in not only the topics they teach, but also in the wellbeing of the students. Their peer mentor program is a tremendous help to those who seek a better transition to college, and is a great asset to those who might progress to careers in counselling. In addition, their extracurricular activities - including the Duke of Edinburgh - have been vital in terms of pushing myself and thus developing my personality. I feel I am a better person because of it.
Lastly, their music department, despite being hit hard by government funding cuts, are filled with the most passionate people I have ever met - and have pushed me, a grade 0 student, to learn a grade 7/8 piece of music and play it in front of an audience in 8 months. I doff my cap to them, for they truly deserve all the credit that can be afforded to them.
Overall, a lovely college to go to, and I'd recommend it to anyone who's considering it!

A fantastic place to study A-Levels and WSFC provided a great taster to studying at University. WSFC has specialist A-Level teachers who were brilliant at delivering the science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) A-Levels I studied. The college also provided enjoyable enrichment activities to supplement A-Level study and helped enormously with applications to University and entrance tests.

In my time there, I was really privileged to have teachers who not only knew the basics but knew their subjects inside and out, never short of something to say. They really encouraged you to explore and not just learn things for the exam but securely grasp the subjects being taught. Was lucky to go to a college that still taught classics and ancient languages, as well as help with an EPQ. Also the hub for the HE Plus course which was really useful on wide ranging subjects and current affairs. Friendly staff in the main. Had few problems and problems I did have were easily able to walk away from. I got into my chosen university and had ample support from the teachers who really knew me and were never afraid to be upfront and honest about the likelihood of my chances or the style of my application. Lots of freedom too as a student even when some library staff are overzealous in their job!!! It's easy to disparage college but, on reflection and balance, it's a very good college that's served me well and I'm grateful for some of the opportunities provided!

What a great college! Moving from school on to college is one of the best decisions our daughter has made. The enrichment programme has supplemented her learning really well, inspiring her to attempt future pathways that she might not have considered otherwise. She has been presented with opportunities outside of the college, which staff have gone out of their way to provide. Teaching material seems well thought out, with efficient aides to learning and pastoral care is good, too. I highly recommend it.

My son started WSFC last September after enrolling on a Btec public services course & also retaking his maths GCSE. The transition from school to college was an apprehensive time & the staff from the SEN dept & also the staff teaching my son were brilliant. Very supportive & encouraging in all areas. Such a positive attitude towards learning! He is making very good progress & if there were any concerns i wouldn’t hesitate to contact the college. I can’t speak highly enough of all the staff.

My daughter's tutors and senior staff have been lovely, encouraging and very supportive in preparing my daughter for both her A levels and university. Nothing has been too much trouble from marking extra essays to preparing references, arranging mock interviews and offering general advice about the whole process of form filling for university. Thank you so much WSFC!

Being a third year student during my time Worcester Sixth Form College, I loved every single second of it! The teachers are Fabulous, there are variety of subjects to chose from and the college atmosphere is relaxed and wonderful!! I recommend anyone to come and study at Worcester Sixth Form College!

Our son has just completed his AS levels and we were pleased with his results. In particular we feel it is important to say how much he enjoyed the Maths lessons and how well he responded to his teachers style of teaching. Helen has been professionable, approachable and has a real understanding of her pupils needs. She takes the time to patiently explain anything that perhaps the pupil doesn’t quite grasp in the first instance, without undermining their confidence. Our son can often lack confidence but the fact that Helen believed in his ability made a huge difference. Thank you for the support.

This college is very student focused. They treat you like an adult by giving you responsibilitys and trust.
There's lots of great facilities like the library and student services(which provide excellent student care from counselling to career advice). Most teachers are lovely, relaxed and always there if you need help.
Only downside is when first starting college there isn't any 'get to know people' activities so when you first it's difficult to make new friends.

Just coming towards the end of my first year at university, I can't recommend the College highly enough for how well the Access Course has prepared me for university life.
It really did make the transition for a mature student long out of education, very easy. Aided by an excellent, and knowledgeable teaching staff.

From my own experience as a student here, I would highly recommend WSFC. The teaching is exceptional and the staff are truly passionate about their fields. This is further enhanced by the excellent facilities, extra-curricular opportunities and pastoral support offered to students by the college

My boys have been at WSFC for the last 14 months and as well as enjoying it they have been doing well. I'm also personally very grateful to the college for recently going above and beyond the call of duty!
One of my boys had applied to Oxford University for which he needed to sit a specific entrance exam. The only problem which became apparent was that the Assessment Board had arranged for it to be held during the half term break and we were already scheduled to be on a course in rural Spain. After a lot of reviewing and exploring of options (a number of which came to nothing) the College managed to arrange for my son to sit his exam at a school in Marbella - there was no requirement for the College to help sort the issue nor for the Marbella school to support the request. Owen's Ambition Program Tutor, the Exams Office team and the College went the extra mile to make this happen successfully - it would certainly not have happened without them.

I really enjoyed my time at WSFC, there is a great atmosphere and the teaching is really good. The college has a lot of experience in applying to universities which I relied on heavily, and are very accommodating for a wide range subject choices. I would definitely recommend it!

Amazing safe space for adult to learn and grow. The Adult English GCSE gave me the opportunity to have daith in my own ability. This was all down the the teaching. Can never thank my tutor Kate enough. The staff have a real passion and will go that extra mile to make you think your worth while.

Worcester Sixth Form has exceeded all my expectations both academically and pastorally. The level of one to one support has been outstanding. To top it all college pushed for a re-mark without prompting, which proved successful. Particular thanks must go to Head of Maths Tom Carron and also a big thank you to Julie Ferman.
