Visited Ian at Earlswood after finding out our cat had an ulcer on his eye, the day we visited for a consultation Ian decided he needed to stay for surgery and operated that day. After an intense few weeks of drops, reviews & another surgery he has finally recovered and his eye looks amazing again! At one point we thought he may actually loose his eye. Ian & all the team at Earlswood are amazing, so helpful and informative.

Unbelievable team at Earlswood, I couldn't be anymore thankful and would highly recommend... Our vet couldn't find what was wrong with our 3 year old lab who had an extremely swollen abdomen, we were told to expect the worst Admitted into Earlswood, expert opinion given which was honest, treatment commenced and after being admitted for 2 weeks we finally got her home back to the dog we knew, still alot of treatment to go but am confident we are in the best of hands Constantly updated on our dogs progress, always available for questions and honest answers given, they literally couldn't do any more, reception staff welcoming what more can I say From Suzie, Aisling, Rachel, too many lovely caring people to mention, the team is literally amazing. They treat your pet like their own, the compassion and care given to both the pet and owners is second to none Worth every penny

Posting this a year after discharge from Earlswood as i wanted to be sure we were really finished with treatment. I can only say that being referred to this amazing vets saved our beloved pup’s life and she is now doing well . They stopped at nothing to diagnose and treat her. Everything was done with consultation and respect for the financial implications for us. A completely professional, yet caring service. We saw many Earlswood vets along the way who were all amazing, but a special mention has to go to the wonderful Heather who went above and beyond to find solutions. Simply the best.

Rocco was referred to Earlswood with complicated conditions which Aisling and Heather are doing their best to try and sort out. They have been great in explaining things to us and offering advice and making us feel that Rocco is in the best hands. The reception staff are also really friendly and efficient and usually make time for a cuddle with Rocco too. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is for the cost - but then I guess you are paying for the quality of care received.

As always, first class service and care for our pet. The team always do a thorough examination to determine diagnosis, explaining potential cost outlays for X-rays and tests if required. The whole team at Earlswood deliver excellent customer service and the highest level of treatment and care for your animals. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I honestly can't rate Earlswood highly enough. We have taken two of our pets to them, one unfortunately we lost. The staff were and are wonderful and so compassionate, they really are an asset to an already perfect service. They are a little pricey but in my opinion the service and general running of the practice alongside the amazing staff make it absolutely worth it for anyone's pet. I can't thank them enough for their support and help with our cat Jasmine last year and their continued support with our dog YoYo ☺️

First class Vetinary practice. My dog had gut issues for several years. I had been with a very well known Vet in Co down who had basically done nothing. Problem was sorted by Heather and Greg within a few months of joining the practice. Very highly recommended.

Andrew performed urgent surgery on our dog who was paralysed due to ivdd. He can now walk and run about again, they did a fab job. The staff are very friendly and helpful and they were able to accommodate us by keeping odie longer than planned as I myself had aso had surgery and would have been unable to perform aftercare duties and physio. They have since seen him again and alleviated any concerns we had. Highly recommended

I took my 4 yr old bulldog here for TPLO surgery on his knee after we were referred by our own vet. I was worried sick but Greg the surgeon put me at ease straight away. The surgery was a success and any concerns we had we were able to email Greg who responded very quickly. The aftercare was amazing and I can't praise the staff and Greg enough as our big lad isnt fond of the vets!! I would have no hesitation in going back or recommending Earlswood to other pet owners.

Unfortunately my visit here was not for a good reason, however the staff here are excellent, and made Marley's last few day's, good days. Reception staff is lovely and thoughtful. Forgot my mask today, had something not so appropriate covering my mouth n nose and they just gave me a new one. Doctors are very attentive as well and try to do their best .

I ran out of prescription diet food for my cat, Olive. My own Vets were that stressed about not being able to receive my regular order that they basically told me to look elsewhere. Last Wednesday I visited Earlswood on the off chance. When I spoke to the lady at reception, I could not have encountered a more genuinely kind and helpful person. Katy took the time to look for the food for me, and not only that - gave me a card for a website that I can order the food from and have it delivered to my Vets for me (I was unaware this service existed beforehand). Katy took the time to chat with me and asked me where I got my nail polish from and complimented me on how they matched my bag. This may sound normal to anyone making small talk - but it meant the world to me - I am a Trans Woman and to have a stranger speak to me like another woman and human being was more than overwhelming. My Aunt was a customer of Earlswood for decades - and now I know why. If this is the kindness your staff show towards strangers, I can only imagine how you treat your customers. Thank you for being kind in a climate where there is so much negativity!! Julia & Olive.

Took my wee dog for the first yesterday. From entering the hospital until now I have been extremely impressed with the care and attention given to ensure my wee dog is cared for and treated correctly. The staff are so courteous and have been keeping me up to date with his progress. Heather Simpson the vet dealing with wee Ollie is doing everything possible to ensure that she reaches the correct diagnosis. I am so glad I was referred to Earlswood.

My vet made a referral for my dog Ruby to attend Earlswood which came through very quickly. Upon arrival the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. Vet was excellent and very informative about my dogs condition.

Thank you to Earlswood for their help and compassion with my Yorkie. Never had an issue before one night a few weeks back and I called Earlswood who were able to advise me on the phone. As recommended I brought my Yorkie due to her distress and the Vet was very quick to assist. My dog was incredibly ill and I was updated on her progress throughout the night. I would not hesitate to bring any animal here for treatment. Unfortunatley my Yorkie didn't make it after a few more weeks due to her condition but she would have gone sooner without help form Earlswood.

Had came here for the specialist vet. Heather took full control of the situation. Explained to us the outcomes chances and procedures. Our dog max was very well cared for and we were able to get 2 updates daily. The vets and nurses all knew who max was. Can be expensive but discuss with them and you will get the best results.

Having used the Vets Now out of hours service that isnt affiliated with Earlswood in any way and only used as a pets emergency service provision point within the premises i found myself very confused, traumatised and empty. From then making contact with Earlswood a few days later for guidance with unanswered questions i couldnt have asked for better a better follow through and after care process .. Claire went above and beyond and i will always be grateful for that. A vetinary practice with a heart.

Earlswood specialist vets showed outstanding professionalism, care and compassion in dealing with a serious emergency. They put the dog's needs first and foremost and dealt professoinally and promptly with a bad situation, leaving discussion of non-urgent details until later. Their facilities are second to none in terms of equipment, and perhaps more impressively the knowledge and skills to use that equipment both amongst their highly qualified vets and equally knowledgeable and caring nursing team. I recommend Earlswood vets for specialist procedures such as cataract surgery, complex orthopedic surgery such as complex fractures and joint disease and arthroscopic (key-hole) surgery, as well as shunt treatment and other soft tissue procedures. Their medicine experts are also highly rated and I've seen the amazing wonders they can work with extremely ill dogs and cats, recovering even where the odds seem stacked against them. With 24-hour on-site nursing care, even the most sick patients are made comfortable and cared for to the highest standard.

The clinic are so professional. The cleanliness of the premises was one of the first things that struck me. There was a calm atmosphere and the staff appeared to be genuine animal lovers. The vet was very helpful and put any fears we had to rest. Highly recommended this clinic we visited for BVA eye testing for our mini Schnauzer here is one of only 3 places in Ireland that provide this test

Life savers. Brought my 1 year old Labrador pup in with blood filled lungs and a broken neck after being hit by a car. We drove 50 miles specifically for this place and it turned out to be the best decision we ever made. Their care was just excellent, even over night! Although my Luna was traumatised from the accident, she still gave the amazing carers a wag of her tail. She is now happy and healthy celebrating her 2nd birthday next month. Highly recommend this place for any pet need or emergency 🙏🏻

Expensive, unfortunately due to covid they are cashing in, the extortionate charges for call out or last minute. £102 call out for a vet who is already on the premises, before the pet is even seen. Another local veterinary surgery taken over my multi national centres.

Great facilities and staff are well trained. Had one or two issues with care of my animal and lack of getting any pain meds when she was sent home with possible Meningitis (which it seemed to be, we lost the dog, same vets euthanized her when we rushed her back in 2 days later) Also original estimated price of care when we brought her in first and the estimate we got a day before we drove 3+ hours to collect dog was off by quite some amount. Was estimated 6 to 7 hundred but cost was actually 1350! I have seen on multiple Google. And yellow page reviews that this is often the case with this animal hospital so be wary that your estimate may not be accurate and seems to be usually wildy underestimated. Bit of a shock when we collected our animal Also have seem many people bringing there animals here for Minor things thing complaining about costs. I wouldn't advise using for minor injuries or health issues as this place is a specialist vet and animal hospital. Normal everyday pet stuff probably will cost a lot more here then a standard veterinary surgery, be aware people!! The facility and vets themselves are great though from I have experienced. They didn't do too well with our pupper but I am confident they done the best that was possible considering the rarity difficulty of diagnosis in my dogs' particular situation, so no major complaints really in regards overall care.

They can do operation that other vets can't do. The thing to know is the price you told the operation might cost is for the operation only. It doesn't cover dressing changes etc. Don't mind paying hundreds for the main operation but their daily fees for boarding etc are very expensive. I took my dog back to have a plate removed from his paw that he had put on 2 years earlier (£860) after he broke it. It cost me £200 to have it removed and I didn't mine paying that. Because he had to be put to sleep for the operation, I ask to have a x-ray done of his chest because he had a cough. They charged me another £100 for the x-ray. My local vet it would have cost about £30 because he was already asleep. Chest was ok. Still don't know why he coughs.

My dog was out walking and had got a stick stuck in his mouth. The dog was struggling in pain and was panicking, I was unable to remove the stick & seeing the dog in pain I started to panic myself. I phoned the emergency vet & they told me to bring him over & sent text instructions on directors. Once I got there the vet quickly got the stick out & then when I asked her how much to pay she stated it was OK. Great service and the number is now stored in my phone & I'm looking at using them as my regular vet from now on.

This place always gets a bad rap for price but they are one of the best vets in the country specialising in so so many fields of veterinary care. My two dogs have attended this vet for specialist services. I would happily recommend them for anyone needing a 2nd opinion before committing to any type of surgery at they're regular vets as you will get veterinary care and opinions from vets at the top of their field of specialism.

A number of vets specialising in different areas, so you are covered no matter the issue with your pet, however you can end up having to wait a few days for an appointment. The afterhours emergency service is run by a separate company, but use the same facilities. Cannot comment on the afterhours service, although I believe it can be pricey.

This is without a doubt the Best vets in NI . My dog has had a very bad accident , but Greg Dunlop has worked tirelessly to fix her . Many vets would have walked away , Greg smiles, and gets on with it . The slickness of the operation and cleanliness are optuse. Care is the very centre of this operation and that includes the owners ! Awesome set up . 👍🏻

I've had to take my labrador Maggie to them for specialist treatment on her left hind leg. They have been most understanding and kind and explained fully the procedure that has been carried out which hopefully will solve her long term problem with her Achilles tendon and ligament. We had an awful experience with our French Bulldog suddenly losing the use of his back legs, so we were refered here. Greg made time between surgeries to see us and Eric straight away. Eric was admitted and kept in for 4 days. Whole team were fantastic in keeping us updated. Like the fact Greg spoke to us like we had brains ( some Vets can be incredibly patronising) and I trusted him and the team with Eric! Can't thank them enough for helping Eric and being great with us at such a tough time. Eric seems to of worked his charm on them all.

Wonderful vet looking after everything from our little dwarf hamsters to our cat with sensitivity and care. Prices are on the higher side but dealt with by insurance. Vets now emergency out of hours service very expensive but separate from practice. Trusted family vet.

This is the Veterinary practice that other vets turn to when they are in trouble, it is in fact a fully qualified Pet Hospital, and Mr Thompson,(Now retired) and his protege Mr Ian Miller,with their colleagues would be the,Obe Wan Canobes" of Veterinary science in N Ireland from orthopaedic surgery to MRI Scanning this vets can do it, If they cant help your pet,nobody can,the staff from the nurses to the receptionists are really lovely too,I would"nt and could"nt take, our N Irish Champion Dog to any other practice folks,and every time we call we meet someone from Cork to Kerry, because their vet could"nt get to the root of the problem folks, This is the Northern Ireland,"Supervets"

We have had to use Earlswood Veterinary on two occasions now. The first was an emergency and their swift action saved our pet (thanks to Greg). Each time we have felt we were in good hands and although a busy practice, at the consultation all concerns are listened to and answered but having no insurance it's quite pricey. So always insure. Just thankful our dogs on the mend. Thanks to Aisling and the rest of the team.
