Big thank you to Jake the vet who's been fantastic during the treatment of our cat Claudia. We've seen him several times during the last few days and he has consistently kept us informed, never rushing us. Despite the poor prognosis and bad news, his very clear and considerate advice for the next step, has made our decision making process much easier.

Very friendly and attentive. Having moved to the area I was worried about finding a vet that was as good as my previous one, and I think Avenue Vets were a great choice.

Been using for years but since Mrs Sterry retired it appears to have gone downhill in respect of costs. Now we have to seriously think about whether we can afford to take our dogs as at nearly £50 for a vet to just look at them, before any treatment, that is a lot. Also, even if they request a follow up, they only knock £5 off the consultation fee. How can this be fair when it should come under the same consultation as we the customers are not asking to see them again. Most of the vets are ok, it is the finances that are out of this world.

Avenue Veterinary Centre is a 5 star practice. I have been taking my pets, both cats and dogs, to AVC for almost 44 years! This is a brilliant practice , very friendly, caring and professional, this goes for everyone from Vets and Nurses to Reception staff. AVC has a real family feel and I know my pets are in great hands when they visit, I would not take them anywhere else.

I have been using this clinic in its various guises since I was seven ....I am now seventy one! All of my many animals over those years have received excellent care from birth through illness to inevitable death. The veterinary staff have been so caring and kind both to my pets when treating them and to myself when I have had to face hard decisions and loss.Many faces have changed over the years but each replacement has lived up to the high standards set by their predecessors. I can confidently and wholeheartedly recommend them!

Superb throughout! I have absolute confidence in this practice. Seems to be a totally engrained caring culture within the practice, to both animals and owners - paramount when dealing with very sick animals and worried owners. I'm back since moving back to Bristol (8ish yrs ago) even though I live in the opposite end of town. Have never come across another practice like it!

Good vets but I have pet plan ,my dog needed claws clipped and advocate, this is included in the price of pet plan, but being a new dog owner I asked the vet about her diet as she does not eat everyday ,my dog was not ill or anything it was just a casual question and the vet reassured me that she was fine and just a fussy eater weight etc all good ..but because I asked about this it became a consultation and I was charged £38.00.wich I could ill afford .so the moral of this story ...don't ask questions because it's a very expensive 5 minutes .

I have taken pets here since i can remember, they have helped with a stricken swift which had some sort of tick on it ! My ferrets which had ticks! And since we hve been married all our cats have gone here! They are brilliant, a little expensive, but aren't they all? What cost for the pets you love?
