Lovely staff, lovely clinic and I’ve got 2 very happy cats. They’re not fearful of the clinic or carrier because they’re treated so lovingly here. Both Gizmo and Zelda are happy with our choice of vets, and so are we ☺️

James has been wonderful and so helpful with giving advice and makings plan for my fear aggressive dog. She is wonderful but the outside world can be too much for her, which is heartbreaking. James has been supportive with starting her on an appropriate medication, alongside training. The whole team are lovely.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The vets know exactly what they're doing with our two rabbits and I know I can trust them. They're not too expensive either. I've had one rabbit spayed and one neutered here and both times the vets were brilliant. The first time my rabbit went to be spayed they weren't happy with how she was breathing so they brought her back round and didn't go through with the op, they didn't charge me and said to come back when she was older, which I did. The second time round they tried a different anaesthetic on her and the operation went really well. I get the impression that the staff all really care for your animals which is very nice to see.

Excellent manners and great professionals. The team has always been very helpful from day 1 when I booked my initial consultation before bringing my adopted cat from abroad. My cat has always been treated with TLC and they have always been very sympathetic towards the smallest of my concerns. We find the reception team very efficient and kind and the vets are just superb. Maria and Zelda.

We have two French Bulldogs under the care of this practice and cannot recommend it enough James and Kate are both excellent Vets and you can tell they really care about the job they do and how important your animals are to you. All of the reception staff are also first rate, friendly and efficient. Even though we have moved out of the area we wouldn't dream of using anyone else.

The Owner James is a fantastic Vet, who always goes the extra mile to help. Assistant vets are nice, and Reception staff & Nurses are lovely. (James is expert in small furry pets & birds, which is unusual for these days due to the prevalence of cats/dogs in practices)

My elderly cat had been having stomach problems, I took her to the surgery and she was treated with wonderful care. Her condition didn't improve and I struggled to administer her tablets, I called the surgery, very upset and the vet found me a liquid form of the medication which she takes with no problem, and meant I didn't have to put my cat through the stress of another trip to surgery. A wonderful practice, can't thank them enough!

The vet, James Pickering is probably the best vet I have ever met. He is very gentle and passionate about animals.The only issue I have with this vet practice is the reception team. I have booked appointments in the past only to turn up and be told that it had not been put on the system. Details on my dog's passports were also incorrect. It's a real shame because the vet is amazing!

Recently our beloved 14 year old Labrador became really poorly and Clifton Vets went out of their way to not only ensure not only she was comfortable but also that our children understood what was happening and could grieve for her as they wanted. Clearly empathy is one of many skills Mt Pickering has in abundance. If you are looking for a vet for your family pet then Clifton Vets should be the first place you call.

It's hard to find a vet that is so good with my rats - we've struck gold here! Wonderful service, very reasonable rates, and very happy ratties (and owner)!

Clifton Veterinary Practice is the best vets i have been, I have seen vets in the past looking in a book to treat my Rats and gave the wrong answers, I have never had this here James is amazing with my pets he handles and treats them so well that they feel at ease I will keep recommending this practice to pet owners as this is a great and kind place for your pets.
