After following the rescue for some time on Facebook I saw a little rescue dog that was struggling to get a home and decided to apply to adopt. The foster parent had done wonders for her at bringing her out of her shell and we met a few times. Louise was brilliant with making sure Chloe wasn't put in a home that didn't meet her needs and make sure the dogs are the priority not the humans and what they want. Dogs are forever and should be given homes that meet their needs and fortunately we were lucky enough that Chloe joined our home and has been blooming and growing more confident each day. I still follow the work this wonderful rescue does for abandoned dogs, or those who's owners can't afford surgery. They work tirelessly to ensure the dogs in their care get the best chance at life and try to offer that to as many dogs as they can. If they are unable to take in dogs they try and find a different suitable rescue. I will always support yappy and believe whole heartedly in their work and ethos

We adopted Dollie from Yappy 18 months ago and have never looked back. We are now involved helping raise much needed funds for the charity. She had been surrendered by her breeder…she was very scared and shy of most things, but within a few months, she has turned out to be the most wonderful, cheeky fun loving dog I have ever had the pleasure of adopting. This rescue is run by volunteers with Louise at the helm who is the owner. Most of the volunteers work and have families too. Never have I come across a more supportive lady than Louise when adopting through them. She is completely devoted to getting the right home for the right dog, rather than just letting them go to anyone. This is vital,y important so that the dogs aren’t returned after a few days if issues arrive. On the rare occasion they have, the back up ( which we haven’t needed ) is second to none. Once you have adopted the community of other adopters is fabulous, offering help, advise and are just a good fun group to be a part of. When you adopt a dog from rescue, you are actually saving two dogs lives- the one you adopt, then you free up spare for another poor soul needing help and a new home. As someone that looks after dogs for a living. Boarding and walking from my own home whilst looking after my own family and dogs, I take my proverbial hat off to Louise. What a wonderful human being trying to make a difference in life by looking after so many abandoned, unloved or sick dogs. Looking for fosters or permanent homes for these poor little pooches. Trying to get funding for ever increasing vet bills. Getting inundated with messages, calls and voice notes asking for more help all whilst still looking after and caring for her own family and beloved dogs. This is a fabulous rescue, who put the dogs first and foremost over anything and everything! Louise and her team work tirelessly to ensure that every doggy that comes in is offered a chance of health, happiness and love regardless of cost to the charity. The work done by this rescue is second to none, they are focused on finding good homes for their dogs and not finding people a dog. They go to great lengths to ensure that the dogs are placed in the best possible homes and once you have one of their dogs there is additional support should you feel you need it. This obviously means that sometimes people are disappointed when they are not successful. The organisation is run by volunteers all of whom have their own animals, jobs and families which can sometimes result in delays in contacting people, but if they could see the effort that the volunteers put in they would understand. I'd be happy to recommend this rescue to anyone looking for or wanting to surrender a dog.

Very impressed with the service provided by Yappy Ever After. Having decided to adopt a rescue dog I followed Yappy for a number of months. I was so impressed by the obvious care and dedication shown by the team. Dog welfare and happiness is clearly the top priority for the rescue. Matching the right dog to the right owners must be such a difficult job, and getting it wrong could have disastrous consequences for both dog and owner, however Yappy have a really robust checking process and if you read about the many positive results on their Facebook page clearly they are getting this right. After several months we were able to adopt our wonderful 4 legged friend, the communication and support has been excellent throughout the process. Please ignore poor reviews by disgruntled applicants. The literature clearly states that the rescue will only contact the applicants who are successful.

I have 2 rescues from Yappy and to be honest I don't know if I would have survived if it wasn't for the full rescue back up they offer, the help and support they give is second to none. Not only do you rescue a dog, you become part of a community with one thing in common, making sure your new four-pawed friend has the best life ahead of them after possibly the worst start. I will be forever grateful that Yappy Ever After felt I was the right person not just to help one but two of their beautiful dogs. A wonderful rescue that does wonders for the dogs. We have fostered numerous dogs with/for them and failed twice now meaning we have 2 wonderful additions to our family. The small team of volunteers work tirelessly day and night to respond to people, sift through thousands of messages and hundreds of applications for each dog to make sure they get the right home for the dog. This last couple of years have seen such a massive increase in people surrendering dogs to be regimes I’m surprised that the team are able to keep up with the influx. If you need to surrender a dog it is done without judgement and with the sole intention of helping the dog to transition as quick and as easily as possible. I cant fault the team at Yappy and if you are looking to help rehome, foster or adopt then Yappy has some beautiful dogs waiting for loving homes. My mum applied for a dog a while back and wasn't successful, she didn't hear back. But that's ok because she'll try again (shes waiting for an op at the moment so not the best time to give all her love to a new dog) and realises that we don't always get what we would like straight away. This rescue helped my baby boy who was reactive, I took on a dog from an abusive home and he had behaviour issues that I was just not experienced or confident enough to help him with, he was becoming a bite risk and may have had to be pts if it wasn't for the help of this rescue.. they helped me find a place where he could be rehabilitated and he now has found his forever home. Yappy Ever After is a PREMIER dog rescue organisation. Louise works tirelessly to rehome many, many dogs. I took a dog, meaning to foster it, but we fell in love and kept him. I went with another rescue because we wanted to adopt a greyhound but I've only ever heard great things about this rescue from people I have spoken to and that I know have rehomed via them. I put an application in for a bonded pair that were under assessment, I thought I had been discarded as I didn't hear back straight away, but a month later I got a text, happy wasn't the word, house checked that night and following night I had my 2 dogs. I was an emergency foster placement for this charity which failed completely because I ended up adopting my dinky diva. The support and care from Louise and her team is amazing. Yappy Ever After is such a wonderful dog rescue! They take in dogs from the UK and abroad and find loving homes for them all. Every prospective fosterer/adopter is home checked and dogs are matched well to their prospective owners and their families. I've found loads of support and advice available too including the social media groups. We fostered our beautiful Max when he was rescued from a kill shelter in Spain, we instantly fell in love and adopted him soon after. Yappy sorted and paid for everything, his transport from Spain, neutering, vaccination, worm and flea treatment, his microchip, and also paid to have his back dew claws removed as they were damaged. The lady who runs the rescue (Louise) is so lovely and she runs this charity in her spare time alongside working full time and caring for her family! I have so much respect for her and everything she does for these dogs. I will always be eternally grateful to Louise and everyone at Yappy Ever After for saving Max's life and enabling him to be part of our family 🐶❤

Louise was a godsend to me when I found myself needing to re-home my sisters dog during a family trauma. It was a comfort to my sister and her children knowing someone like Louise would organise foster care and safely rehome their dog after being in a situation where they could bo longer keep her. I recently posted a bad review about this organisation! I was frustrated with the lack of response to my voicemails and emails! However, I have recently had contact and understand a little more about the way things are run. All I can say is be patient, hang on in there and things will start to happen. I literally stumbled across Yappy Ever After 3 years ago whilst scrolling through Facebook when considering adopting a dog. The post stated they were seeking to find a foster home for 2 adorable bonded dogs that were due to arrive in the UK from Romania, little was I to know that that post would be the start of an amazing and rewarding experience! I have continued to support the rescue through fostering, home checking and helping transport dogs as and when I can. I also found my best friend, Fred the Red Setter who came to us from Romania who we adopted. I fostered from yappy dogs and can truly say they were brilliant. I was kept up to date every step of the way and could always contact them and they were quick to reply if I had any questions. They were great and found a fantastic family to adopt our foster and Louise did it with care and sensitivity as she knew how upset I was to let her go but was not the right time to take on another dog permanently then. I adopted one of our dogs from Yappy & when we’re ready for another dog I will definitely ask if they have one suitable for us. They match dogs & families with great care and their attention to detail is second to none. Not only to they find the right homes for their dogs, but once rehomed they keep in touch & the Facebook pages are filled with photos of loved pets. This is a small rescue with managers who have full time jobs & families to care for, but in addition they use all their waking hours to care for the dogs that they love and try to save. Big rescues have big support - this small rescue charity is supported by those who recognise their worth. Yappy Ever After is a treasure, like finding a gold nugget on the beach. I cannot speak more highly of them.

I had my rescue baby from here, Marley, and yappy have been nothing but professional, helpful and friendly throughout the whole process. Marley came with a few issues....none of which was passed forward to yappy and Louise was fantastic in sorting marley out for surgery he needed and a trainer to work on his lead walking with. Have a lovely Rottweiler called Bradley Through yappy 2 yrs ago coming up, Dealt with Louise as I’m in South Wales there was a few issues regarding vets but we got around those issues , even as far away as South Wales having a dog from yappy is still possible . Bradley has returned to his welsh roots as his great grandparents actually belonged to a friend of mine who used to breed world class Rottweilers , I’ve thanked you before Louise and I thank you again wouldn’t be without Bradley for anything in this world he’s lush .
